I ate here for the first time today with my husband while we were on the hunt for good matzoh ball soup. Greenwich and Delancy didnt disapoint. The soup was very good and we also ordered the chicken schnitzel fingers which was perfectly made (not too heavily fried, a touch of dill seasoning and moist chicken). The Veriniki was also really nice with their sauce. We were able to try the chicken blintz and matzah, babka, pastrami donuts - all so flavorful and different. I'd never tried anything like that and it was really refreshing to explore something new. The service was also very attentive and nice. I moved from NYC to Greenwich 3 years ago and often wondered why we didnt have great Jewish food options out here besides a few bagel places. Greenwich and Delancy is perfect for a good Jewish meal - I wish I had found it sooner!

The Pastrami was melt in your mouth good. Recommend the Chocolate Babka as well. Insane how good the food and service was.

pastrami and potato pierogies were totally delicious - melt in your mouth, incredibly delicious! probably the best pastrami i've ever had! on the other end of the spectrum, the donuts were absolutely horrible. do not get them. they were hard tiny balls of totally fried dough - totally fried through to the very middle. don't know how they were served to us that way. if i were the chef, i would've thrown them in the garbage where they belonged. also didn't care for the fried potatoes - expected french fries but they were more like potato chips coated in garlic. the prices are ridiculous - like manhattan Michelin star restaurant prices. i'd go back, but only for the deli meat and some of the appetizers.

Ridiculous prices a pastrami sandwich costs more than the Second Ave Deli or Katz's . The chef seems to think a little to much of himself.

Good Food but don't go unless you manage a hedge fund. No other jewish deli ie. Katz's don't charge this much!

Lately I have been on a breakfast kick trying to find great local spots, and I stumbled onto this…read moreplace. It feels hidden in the sense that you could drive right past it and miss it, but once you find it, it is absolutely worth it. There is parking out front which is a plus. Inside, it is exactly what you would expect from a classic mom and pop Italian deli. Small, warm, welcoming, decently lit, and clean. They also have a huge menu with tons of options, not even counting everything available at the deli counter. I took my time looking over the menu and the staff was patient while I decided. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese with black pepper on a wedge and a bacon, egg, and cheese lightly toasted on white bread. The wedge was the highlight. Big portion, very filling, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. It was cooked and put together really well. My only small critique is that the bread was very soft and the eggs were falling out a bit, but I also did not ask for it toasted so that may be on me. The bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread was good as well. The only downside was that it was very lightly toasted, almost not toasted at all, and it used bacon pieces instead of strips. Overall, this is an excellent local deli with quality food, generous portions, and a welcoming feel. I would definitely recommend stopping by, and I will absolutely be back.

Would recommend, we had absolutely incredible breakfast sandwiches that were ready super quick.read more

Stopped in this morning to pick up two sandwiches and a bagel for a 5 hour car ride…read more I should have know better.... I knew better, but got a bagel anyway since I didn't want to drive to the bagel shop for another stop. Asked for the bagel not toasted with butter - since I asked if they were fresh delivered this morning. This bagel was like what you'd get at the airport in the Midwest. It was like white bread with a smear of melted butter. Crap bagel. Ok again I knew better. That's on me Two hours into the ride, it's time for a sandwich - Italian combo, no lettuce. What wasn't listed on the sandwich ingredient list was mold. The provolone was moldy. How did he not see this when making it. I guess he didn't care since he was using all pre-sliced meats at 9:00 am. I get you need to be efficient in a deli, but you should be slicing fresh every day. How old was this provolone that it had mold on it? The other sandwich was made with freshly sliced prosciutto. It was supposed to have pesto on it - little evidence of that. (Although maybe the mold on my sandwich confused the guy thinking he already added green to the sandwiches). Ok. Snide remark but I'm pissed that I spent $35 for two sandwiches and a bagel ;and 2 of the three were inedible. When Corbos was across the street this deli was great. Now not so much. Pass on this place. I couldn't go tell the owner that there was a problem because I was now 2 hours away.

Great quality food, quick service and friendly staff…read more I ordered the Cajun Chicken Cutlet Caprese wrap and the Eatalian sandwich on a roll. Both very good, ingredients taste very fresh and it was filling. One time we ordered one item and since they didn't have it, they included a sorry note and included some alternatives. Would highly recommend.
