This deli os spacious and has tables for people to sit and eat at. I did not see any outdoor tables but maybe there are in the warmer months? Not sure. I am never in this area and was hungry so we came here. I was actually shocked at how tasty the bagel I got was. I got a sesame toasted bagel with scallion cream cheese. The bagel was very fluffy, doughy which I like and the scallion cream cheese was good. I was shocked since I know NYC is known for their bagels and this place is not in NYC. Nice neighborhood deli with tasty sandwiches. I had the DJ, hubby had one with roast beef, smoked cheese and both were great. Two warnings: 1) there are only a couple of street parking spaces that aren't 15 minutes M-Sat and there are threats of towing if you part in the very large and mostly empty lot behind the deli. 2) The bathroom door doesn't lock. Station a guard outside it if you don't want company. We would stop by again driving through the area (if it's a Sunday and we can find parking). read more

Love this place!! i work nearby so i frequent this deli when i need lunch or a quick bite. Super reasonably priced, phenomenal food, and nice staff! My all time faves are the home fries and french fries... seriously the best around. i could eat them all day every day. They don't even need a condiment they're that good. i wish their salads came with more dressing, ever since getting the one in the pic attached i always ask for extra dressing bc one little container is definitely not enough. Other than that their sandwhiches (breakfast and lunch) are sooo yummy. i've also gotten a chocolate croissant too that was wonderful! For coffee/latte's they do have dairy free milk options which is always a plus. There's also plenty of snacks to choose from whether it's diff types/flavors of chips, chocolate/candy, yogurt, fruit cup, salads from the deli like potato/macaroni, or a baked goodie. I love Gville Deli. I go a few times a week to grab myself some lunch and breakfast for my hectic days of commuting to work. Christian is literally a life saver and has great customer service skills. He is even kind enough to take my order before they open since he knows I am on the metro north bright and early. When I arrive early my hazelnut hot coffee and delicious roast beef sandwich is waiting for me. I also love the fresh fruit cups. Finally a great place in town with normal hours for working people and all members of our wonderful Glenville community. I used to like this place. They have good quality food but they need a training on customer service. I ordered through Uber eats and Uber kept changing my driver (40 minutes after my food was already prepared). I called the restaurant to ask if they could remake my eggs so they wouldn't be freezing cold and they asked if they could REHEAT it! Reheat eggs is that a joke? This deli is extremely clean and spacious. They do a good bacon egg and cheese sandwich. It comes standard with 2 eggs which is nice. Staff is super friendly. Hours are great - this is one of the few places that opens at 6:30am on Saturdays. Have not tried lunch here (yet) but if it's anything like breakfast I know I won't be disappointed. read more

Delicious food, but..... This deli has wonderful sandwiches, WHEN they get the order straight. The people behind the counter get orders either wrong, or mixed up. I have been there 3 times since September, ordering the same thing every time, twice by phone and once in person. They get very confused with a ham, Swiss, lettuce, mustard and mayo sandwich on rye. Things like whole sandwiches instead of half sandwiches (which the very nice manager has twice not charged me for) and yesterday, in person, total confusion. The above sandwich was: "Ham??" Rye? Rye sandwich?" so finally, I left without my sandwich, not likely to go there again. Too much effort for a very short lunch break. Too bad, because the food is good. read more

I hate to write reviews like this, but the gentleman behind the counter does not want to be bothered by anyone. As a newer establishment customer service should be over the top to ensure the return of guests. There was a error with my credit card while checking out and the gentleman didn't want to swipe my card again because of the .40 cents they are billed for each card by the company. .40 and an overpriced $8 salad later here we are. There are a lot of better options close by with significantly better customer service. The options of Deli's in NY are never ending so I'm sure I will not be returning here. read more

Food is good. The staff in the back taking orders are very sweet. However, the man working at the counter seems like a jerk. He was friendly with the lady in front of me & when it was my turn he says "do you need something?" I would prefer a "hello, how are you today" or something along those lines. I'm Somewhat of a deli snob so when I came to the area for work and asked about lunch, I was more then hesitant to hear "We go down the street to the deli". G Ville blew me away. Everything was fantastic. I went 4 times in a 5 day stretch. The chicken marsala was as good, if not better, than most I've had in upscale restaurants. The chicken scarp was flavorful and spot on. Chicken cutlet was perfect. Civic center was the sandwich I needed after a long week. High Quality food, incredibly delicious. Convenient location, very clean, and the gentleman taking orders had my name memorized by day 3, and I had never been before. Only thing is that it's kind of pricey, but I guess thats expected for this area. And for the food you are getting, I don't mind paying a small increase. This place is fantastic, will be my new lunch spot when in Greenwich. read more

Not the friendliest guy behind the counter, seemed to be annoyed I asked a couple questions as it was my first time there, I'd train my staff to recognize if someone is new and try to guide them a bit. I didnt care for the very thick roll it was served on, would have liked a few bread options (like seeded whole grain, something healthier) so I only ate half the sandwich as it looked like a calorie bomb. and they were really light on the pesto spread, I should have asked for more. He got the sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel with hot sauce. One bite in, he exclaimed: "This is America in a sandwich!" My egg and cheese on a bagel was delicious and filling.
