My husband and I went to this place based on our hotel's recommendation since it's just steps away. My husband ordered the seafood pasta, I was feeling adventurous so I ordered beef tartare, the guy (Indian) who's taking our order seemed so unsure And asked how I want the beef cooked, I said beef tartare is supposed to be raw right so why are you asking me how I want it cooked? My husband intervened and just said prepare it however your chef usually preps it and left it at that.
I also ordered their house white wine. Food came; The seafood pasta doesn't have the usual delicious seafood smell as a matter of fact I can barely smell the garlic, it contains squid and razor clams that's it, so much for calling it seafood. And when the beef tartare arrived it's Steak and Frites. Oh no, I was ready to blow off the handle but my hubby said it's ok, we'll just switch. My husband liked the steak which is €8 more than the beef tartare. Their fries are also really good, like McDonald's fries, thin and salty.
He ordered caramel panna cotta for dessert, which is also really good. When it's time for the bill, the wine was more expensive, so I ask the waiter why the price is higher than what's on the menu., he said he gave me the 9oz instead of 6oz, without asking me.
So If you plan to go to this place, make sure to check the price, and that you get the food that you actually ordered and correct measurement for the wine before ordering.
Don't get me wrong the food is good but I don't agree with the behavior of our waiter hence the one less . read more
