I don't live close to a Floor and Décor but saw them online and thought I would drive 2 1/2 hours to check them out. My wife and I are building a house and have a lot of tile to purchase. We went to the Mesquite location and really liked the store. Great product with good pricing. Service at the store was great. We bought over $10,000 worth of tile and I rented a box truck and drove it home. The problem came when we needed more tile to finish up some of the rooms. The customer service at all the stores, I called many, and website is non-existent when calling by phone. I've waited on hold for up to 40 minutes trying to find out if my product has shipped. 30 minutes at a time without hearing from anyone. My order is shipping from the Dallas store and I'm currently on my 4th business day that they say it's going to ship today. I tried calling the Mesquite location and they answer the phone, "can you please hold" and immediately put me on hold. I hang up after 5 minutes on hold. The Atlanta store didn't even answer the phone. Worst online Customer Service ever. If you can't always go to the store to pick it up yourself, don't use Floor and Décor. Also sent them 2 messages with my concerns from their website and have heard nothing back. Very frustrating!!! read more

04/19/17 I didn't know that there would be some much involved in trying to choose flooring. I first visited the store in Grand Prairie then decided to go to the Dallas store. I was impressed by the appearance of Dallas' Floor Décor because of their display and it didn't look as much like a warehouse as Grand Prairie's. With the short visit at Grand Prairie's, I did receive help and advice. When I went to Dallas and I've visited their 3x within the last 2 weeks trying to make a decision, I was helped even more impressively by Tyrrell each time . Although his present position is at the register, he still assisted me on the floor and provided helpful information at all 3 visits. If he was helping someone else, he learned my face quickly and came to assist me when finished with other customers. Tyrell was always very mannerable and ready to help me. Even when it was time for him to leave, he made sure that he found assistance for me. Because of Tyrrell's excellent customer service, I've decided to give my business to this particular store, which is farther away verses the Grand Prairie store that is closer to my home. My husband and I came into the store on Tuesday 12/15/2020. We were waiting for one of your designers to become available as they were both tied up with customers. A young lady by the name of Emily could see that we were getting frustrated on the wait and came up to us and asked if she could help us. She listened to our issues and needs. We had brought in a sample of our granite and we're at our wits end. She started pulling down different colors of tile that she thought we may like then talked to our contractor to ensure what was needed, etc. We have NEVER had anyone take so much interest and wanted to make sure we had all that was needed. We came back on 12/16/2020 to purchase some flooring asked for Emily who was tied up with another customer but some how she found us again and provided the young man that did help us load our car with the flooring. We recently visited multiple times during a kitchen and bathroom remodel and always had an excellent customer service experience - doesn't matter who was helping us. During my most recent visit, I was asked if I needed help barely after crossing the threshold. I knew what I wanted, but had zero idea where it would be housed. Morgan walked me all over the store, so we could gather everything I needed. The product I wanted wasn't available in the color I needed (pencil tiling), so he proposed an entirely new solution I wasn't aware existed (Schluter trim). It worked perfectly, and I like it even better! He even helped me load my car on that miserably hot morning. If he hadn't approached me, I would have spent 3 times longer gathering supplies, been frustrated, and would have probably headed elsewhere for the product I thought I needed. My interior decorator friend told me about floor & decor in Dallas, Tx. While remodeling & doing an addition to the older home we bought we made the 4 hour 1 way trip to Danumerous times. A couple of visits ago I just happened to ask Sandra Barton-Porter for choosing tiles for the master bath. Sandra was truly a God send. The store is Awesome but can be Overwhelming because of the HUGE inventory carried. I had the basic plan going but Sandra, in a professional, polite manner helped me bring it all together. After helping me pick out everything I was not abandoned to the check out line & the long pick up line. Sandra checked us out herself & immediately got help to load our tiles, schluter, grout, & thinset for our job. We were back in our truck for the 4 hour drive home. We are frequent customers at this FLOOR & DECOR location and have always had outstanding service from each of your associatiates working the floor. Last week, I came in and made a purchase of floor tile for our laundry room. I was about to begin loading the 5 heavy boxes of tile I would need to complete the job, onto my four wheeler . . . when one of your young floor workers stopped me and very respectfully said --- "Sir, I can help you with loading this." He loaded the heavy boxes, brought them to the cashier area and then proceeded to wheel this heavy load out of the store and to my car, loading each box ever so carefully into my car. BJ is awesome ! We had a bathroom remodel design appointment with BJ on Saturday and she was very helpful and went the extra mile to help us choose our tile and flooring for the bathroom remodel. The tile and flooring offerings to proposed were right on target with our wishes Her patience with us was outstanding, an really took time to listen to us and learn about our wishes. She helped us design a complete plan for our bath that we are very happy with. We can't wait to see the finished bathroom. My husband & I went here today and the place is awesome. So many choices that it can be intimidating. I was so happy to find Kristen. She took my ideas and made sense of them. She quickly helped me find the perfect wall tile for my master bathroom shower and the accent tiles along with the trim pieces I needed. It all came together beautifully and so quickly and painlessly. It would have taken me hours to make the decisions and find just the right combinations for the design I wanted. Our in store experience has always been positive and the employees very helpful, but wanted to especially give a shout out to Sheri Bell, who has made our most recent purchase fantastic! Sheri coordinated our shipping from their warehouse and kept me informed of the details of when my long distance transportation company picked up our pallets of stone to take them across country for us. Hands down Floor and Decor cannot be more helpful...customer service alone would win me! I went to DalTile around the corner and I guess I didn't look rich enough (quite amusing really) because I barely got a hello from the two girls at the front desk. In contrast F&D has enough of a selection that the irritation of DalTile pushes me to find what I need here... How many years will it take people to realize looks has absolutely NOTHING to do with buying power! One of the managers at F&D walked us over to the flooring we are interested in (even though we weren't buying that day) to tell us how to figure out the dye lots etc. So nice, very informative. They are awesome and have my vote!!! read more

The employees at this location are all very knowledgeable and make the hunt of finding the right tile for each room easy. The employees genuinely greet you at the door with smiles, and check in on you periodically. I was there yesterday for the better part of the afternoon and the professional and knowledgeable staff helped me from selecting the right grout color, finding the correct tile and accompanying tile for those difficult Shower niches to special ordering metal bars that separate tiles to helping me determine square footage. I want to give a shout to Ramiro and Tessi for their exceptional customer service. They were both very knowledeable about the products and what was needed for every step of a shower tiling project. Tessi calculated the amount of grout and mortar needed, verified the tools that were required for the job (that we didn't have), and even showed us items we would need that we hadn't thought of (spacers, side trim, etc). I know it will save us multiple trips back to the store. Ramiro even took our tile/grout/etc out to the car and helped us load it up. On top of all that, they were very friendly. My boyfriend and I are remodeling our new house and we had no idea of what, how or where to start picking up the design and materials for the house. We also had lots of opinions from his family that made this a bit more difficult. We made an appointment prior to our second trip to the store to work with one of the designers. This is a free service provided. We worked with BJ and she was outstanding. We very much appreciate the help of BJ Smith at this location. She saved our master bath remodel. We had already purchased some tile and were there to get pick out the floors. We explained to BJ what we wanted she walked straight down the aisle and showed us exactly what we needed to get the look we wanted. We ended up returning our first tile purchase to buy the tile she picked for us. We are now doing our second bath and went straight to BJ foe help. My boss and I had to come for an 83 box of tile pick up to which we were ecstatic to have the help of Shari, Ashley, and Adam. Adam, my boss and I loaded everything in a timley and orderly fashion. Ashley executed excellent skill on the forklift. Shari was super busy, during time purchase was able to multitask for pick up at later time through her busy schedule. Last year, I remodeled my master bathroom. Almost all my floor and wall tiles etc. came from here. This year I am remodeling my kitchen. ALL the floor and wall tiles etc will be from Floor & Decor. BJ is one of the designers here. She was fantastic! She took the time to make sure I was getting the right supplies and if she wasn't quite sure, she asked a co-worker to assist. A+ BJ.
