So I have purchased from these guys before and never had really an issue. This time I came around and purchase about $6,000 worth of bamboo flooring after taking a few planks out of the project I realized that they were scratched severely. I went to the store and told a sales manager that this has happened to me what was the next step and they told me to come back and talk to the manager which I did his name is Alex Mollinera, whom claimed to be the manager of the wood flooring section. It is so obvious that is scratch that I was baffled when he looked at me in the eye and told me that I was part of the design of the floor , I kindly ask him to please look at it again and tell me that same statement and he did it again. This kind of customer service and ignorance it is absolutely and irreparable discourteous to any customer. I felt like he was literally looking me in my face and tell me I'm an idiot for thinking that this floor could actually have those scratches and be part of the design. Extremely disappointed at this point I don't even want a refund I'm going to take them to the highest the most severe of claims to the head corporate. Now I have to go through a floor inspector which I have to pay them for them to inspect it later hopefully the outcome will be the obvious I will update the review then. read more

As my first time experience shopping for my new home floors, I must say I had the best customer service there. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and immediately was asked if i needed help. I was looking for laminated floors but wasn't sure what to pick and I must say Antron was very very helpful and had patience for me after having him put back a pallet of laminated I first picked, that i wasn't so sure about purchasing. Plus it was late Wednesday almost closing time. But then he was very attentive, friendly and helped me choose the perfect one. He explained every single detail and descriptions of their brands and styles. Calculated, made comparisons of prices and advised me. Showed me the new colors the new trending colors and with his help and my daughter which they had similar opinions and taste we finally picked out the best one. The other employees and cashier (Rosemary) was friendly too and helped me find my account to pay with the store credit and wasn't a hassle unlike other stores. Then Antron helped me load my car with the materials I bought. I was so thankful with him for helping me. I really recommend him as a sales person. Look for Antron when shopping at Floor & Decor. Also wanted to mention their prices are not bad either, I consider them inexpensive compare to Lowe's and Home Depot. We had an excellent experience at this location. They have great selection and way better prices than the tile and flooring places in Doral. Sales rep Shain was especially helpful and knowledgeable about the type of stone we were looking for. He answered all questions and checked the inventory in their other locations to see if they had the square footage we needed. We ended up placing an order for pickup in one week. Never in my life have I been more satisfied with the customer service in a store before. Antron is the nicest, most knowledgeable manager I've ever gotten help from and my experience was one in million. My mom and I had no idea what design we wanted for our guest bath, so we showed Antron the vanity we purchased and all he said was "follow me" and it was as if we unleashed the Genie from Aladdin. We were finished in about 30 minutes and spent well under what we thought we were. From the moment we walked in to the last box we loaded in the trunk, we've never been more happier and satisfied with Antron and his service. 100% recommend and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!! I have been to this store several times during the past month or so for a bath remodel project. I find the selection and variety simply amazing. The first time I visited the store, I was totally ignorant in matters of flooring, most specially design and installation. Fortunately, my sister and I came across an associate by the name of Ernesto Calero, a young man that is undoubtedly going places in life. Ernesto spent a LONG time showing us around, making suggestions, explaining things, carrying our samples around the store, etc. Through it all, he displayed an exceptional attitude and a wonderful disposition. I did not buy anything on that occasion; I did today. But every time I have been back, I have asked for Ernesto. She was a complete delight to work with, and because of her assistance and knowledge I placed my order with comfort and confidence. She was very patient with me throughout the whole process of selecting a design concept for a bathroom remodeling project of my home. Even throughout my MANY indecisiveness moments she was able to guide and support me to a final outcome that I absolutely love. She was very professional, practical and not pushy throughout the whole process. She was a complete joy at all times. This company has the worst customer service. Be prepared to be on the phone on hold for over 30 minutes and explain why are you calling about to whoever picks up the phone again and again, In addition to other bad service I had with Floor & Deco at Hialeah, the scheduled delivery of everything I purchased about three or four weeks ago never came nor no one called to let me know what happened! That was yesterday and as of now Not a manager has called me to explained why the delivery never came yesterday. People who work there have no consideration with customers, they are not good at all at customer service. What a shame! I don't recommend you buying there at all!!! Other companies have excellent customer service starting with a nice greeter at the entrance, someone who ask you what you are looking for and how can you be helped. The service including delivery or store loading of whatever you purchase is 100% better in other companies I've been.Managers from other companies are more responsible and have better efficacy when dealing with service to clients. Beware of buying Tiles at Floor & Decor 3890 W 18th Ave Hialeah, FL 33012 (786) 837-0400 I was super excited to begin my new home floor project so I went there. I ran my excellent credit, pick my dream tile, placed the order and set up the delivery date for the following Monday. On Sunday I received a call confirming my order that it would be delivered on the date agreed from 8 am to 1:00 pm, so I scheduled my contractor. 1 pm no tiles delivery, I called and talked with Andres which promised to called me back and never did, so I called him 3 times and continued to get the run around, the fourth call, I talked to a Magarita and she said my order had been canceled and that she can give me the delivery for free. Really what a mission few dollars on a delivery would never compensate compared to the money I had to pay my contractors for doing nothing, because they failed to communicate that they took an order for $1,500 order that doesn't exist.which by the way is considered false advertising. then I decided to go to the store and personally talk with the store manager PHIL, at first was very helpful, he apologized and told pick any tile i wanted to compensate, so I pick the one that was closest to the original tile, but then when he saw the difference in price he said he had to get it authorized from another store manager, another day wasted and still paying my contractors lots of $$$$, for doing nothing and that's not counting the day I took off for the delivery, tolls, gas, two trips to the store and frustration. the next Phil called me back and told me that I had to pay more for the tiles I had pick out to compensate, their unprofessional and unexceptionable way of handling their error that is still costing me money. Stay away what ever you think you are going to save you will end up paying triple. Floor Decor Never More! Avoid at all cost. It is basically a tile warehouse filled with a bunch of young kids who have no clue about tiles. That's like having a car sales person working at a dealership who knows nothing about cars. My wife and I bought expensive tiles at this place for two small rooms. Only to find missing and broken tiles. Yes, and even tiles that were smaller than others. Which put us under a very difficult situation, where our tile guy was almost done and one of the last tiles in a very noticeable area was a short length tile. Actually, the previous day the short length tile problem was discovered. And we trekked to the store with some broken tiles and the smaller ones. Now I understand tiles can break. But to offer tiles smaller than others is unacceptable. We were not trying to get a mosaic look. They fed us some bs story that we must have received a "loose" box. And that somehow, that short tile must of mixed it with the "normal" tiles. Well we swallowed that line of pure crap. And headed home with not only the 3 replaced short tiles. Be we bought another 6 boxes of their crap. And yes it was pure crap. It turns out that of those 6 boxes. Only two were of proper tile size and other were smaller. So they got caught in the web of horse manure that they wove. Now back to our dilemma, our tile guy was about to finish only to notice that a full tile was needed in a very noticeable place. And only the Floor Decor smaller tiles were left. So my wife, yet again trekked up to their Hialeah store with the shorter tiles. Only to find out they didn't have any of the normal size tiles left. The only place she could get them was at their Boyton Beach store which was another hour away from that Hialeah store. And did I mention that we live about half an hour from the Hialeah store. All this so that our tile guy could finish the job. BTW, whom we are paying hourly. [Update] The Hialeah store had my wife drive all the way to the Boyton store. Only to be told that they did not have the right tile. Even after that the manager "confirmed" with Boyton. THIS POS TILE PLACE IS A JOKE. So basically, she drove over 150 miles round trip for nothing. This is what you could expect from this company. We are looking to filing complains with the FL Attorney General and others. And the saddest part, we were going to also do our much larger master bedroom with the same tile (to keep things uniform). And now we don't know what to do. Do yourself a favor avoid this company like the plague. You will save yourself lots of headaches and grief. So if anyone was keeping score, to get tiles for 2 x 100 SF rooms we had to drive numerous miles and make at least 5 trips. And they still haven't gotten it right. [Update] We had no choice other than to install the shorter tile in the middle of a room. It looks horrible. My wife pleaded with me not to do it. But I told her that every single time that someone asks me why this is like this. I will have the pleasure of telling them what kind of joke this company is. I plan to stay in the house for the next 10 years. So this should be interesting. AVOID Floor and Decor! AVOID! AVOID! You have been warned. PS. They sell their "Econo" thin set for like $12. People I would ask for help, would tell me to wait for a few minutes and go off to help someone who had just arrived. I came across this store on the internet when I was hoping to fund a march for a glass tile backsplash to finish my kitchen. I was so shocked when I found it by skew number and the unbelievably difference in price vs a vendor in the doral area that I didn't believe it was real. I had literally paid 7X more for each tile vs F&Ds price and thankfully bought 16 boxes of the tile for the same price I paid for 2 boxes!!! I know it sounds unbelievable but trust me - it's the truth. Ordered online and pickup was easy. Very hit or miss. I have had great service on occasion (Abraham) but have also received dismal service on repeated occasions. They have a huge selection and decent prices. If you try to call the store for any assistance, no matter how minor, good luck. I sat on hold for more than 20 minutes and never even got to speak to a human being to ask my question. I would give the store itself 4-5 stars, but since they recommend installation services with Chris Burke Inc, I had to drop it down to 2 stars. The materials are great from the store, but I would never ever in my life recommend Chris Burke Inc - which is the sole contracted company with Floor and Decor - to do the installation. My projected 5 day floor installation became a 3 week nightmare from missing tiles, beer cans in my living room, and poor installation overall. The problem is you are getting a sub - sub - sub contractor. They are not just doing your job and getting it done, but thinning themselves over multiple jobs - hence the lengthy time to finish. I am still to this day (about 2 months after completion), dealing with major cracks in the grout! The tile itself is nice, grout color nice, but if you can't have it installed properly there is no sense. So, go to the store, get the supplied, but get yourself an installer you trust and know! The managers of the store are great and friendly. They helped me out a lot when I had to go back and buy more tiles after the installers broke/lost/who knows what with the overage I had to purchase!!! read more

Poor, poor service. I went in at 5 pm to choose flooring for a nursery and tiles to redo a bathroom. After struggling to find someone to help we got the nursery flooring with a bit of a language barrier but the two ladies who tried to assist were actually pretty friendly. When it came to trying to find tiles there were two guys on the floor who you had to run down to get assistance, no worries I was still looking. This is where it went to hell, at 7 pm I finally found what I was looking for but needed assistance, we could not find anyone to assist. Eventually my husband went to the cashier to ask who can help and she made an announcement for help. No one came, she didn't even double check on us and we were standing right there! Eventually my husband asked again at the cashier counter and one guy was rude enough to tell him there are other ppl ahead of him waiting for assistance. Even though we have now been there for over an hour just waiting..... Went to this Store About last week. Looking to check for some hardwood laminate floors in the wide selection the company has available. Once upon walking in (first time at this location) I realize why as it is to be known for. 4 staff members (all either teenagers or in there early 20's) between the entrance doors literally just talking and laughing as their is a berating of customers on the floor in need of help. Only as there is one employee between the laminate floors section actually attending customers. Sadly that employee is set to answer plus questions as his peers should be assisting him with. I was attended by again this young girl who, didn't seem well trained of knowledge of the product that I was asking more information about, and was someone rude as she helped other people before finishing off any other help i needed. This place really needs to tighten up their management. Customer service should be their goal. As far as their merchandise they mark an A+. So for anyone considering going to this location and making the company stance as if it was shitty. It's not. Got to the Pembroke Pines location. So much better trust me. read more

Went to Home & Decor knowing all the bait & switch complaints. Discussed with salesman Aramis and store manager Jose that I had specifically returned today to place my order because I was told and saw the last time I was in the store that new shipment of my tile was due to arrive at the Port yesterday, and I wanted only the same dye lot. Everyone agreed that there would be no mixing dye lots. I even photographed what was on the display floor to make sure that wasn't mixed with other lots. Ordered. Got an automated call on Sunday, telling me my pallets would be delivered Monday. Took Monday off. No delivery. Called phone if delivery, no answer. Online Monday night, it said tiles delivered. Called Floor & Decor on Tuesday morning. Was put on hold for 45 minutes. Jason, supervisor of warehouse said there was a mistake, he had 3 pallets and was going to call around to see if he could find other 2 pallets with same dye lot. Told him not to waste the store's money if they were going to mix and match, because I would not accept delivery. He said he'd call me back. I'm sorry I went with them. Really. Job is delayed. I'll hear from him tonight, but have no confidence at all that they'll try delivering anything more than hodge-podged mix and match lots with different color, thickness, width tile. read more

They have a wide variety of all kinds of flooring, tile and accents. At first I was like uh-oh. That can be a double-edged sword because it can be overwhelming. It's the customer service complaints I'm not getting. I must have looked a little lost when I walked in and I was immediately asked if I needed help. They had a design consultant named Anthony. If you're having problems deciding on what you want. This individual is the man you need to see. He was extremely helpful. I recently purchased tiles through Floor & Decor's website. Before ordering, I made sure that I the store had in stock enough supply for there order, in which it said that they did. After ordering it said that I would receive an email when my order was ready for pick-up. That email never came. After 3 days, I myself had to reach out to the store to figure out what was going on. they told me that the tile was not the same color and they do not recommend me taking it because it wouldn't match. I then asked, why did the website allow me to purchase it and why I didn't receive a email or a call explaining this, they could not answer. They assured me that they would call back with an answer, they did not. I then called the national customer service who told me she understood my frustration in waiting for my tile. She told me she would do everything to rectify the situation immediately and she would call me back, she has not. It is now going on three weeks where the company has kept my 2k dollars and I have no product and no answers. I am now going to have to reverse the charges on my credit card. I have basically lost my contractor due to scheduling issues. Please be aware on buying from this store especially online. Customer service is not this company's strong point. read more

This Floor and Decor has a good variety of tile to chose from. I went here in search of bathroom tile. When I first walked in I was greeted by Anthony, one of the designers at this Hialeah location. Anthony showed me where the tiles for the bathrooms were located and guided me in the direction I had mind. After taking a look around and gathering my samples, Anthony came back around and asked me how things were and if I needed help. Not only did he help confirm my final selections, he had great ideas on how wrap up my choices. Anthony went above and beyond his designer position. He solely mounted all the tile, grout and thin set on 2 carts, rung me up at the register and even helped put it the car. Anthony is the reason I give this store 5 stars. His customer service and knowledge on design met more than my expectations. As for the actual store, the rest of the employees could work on their customer service skills. read more
