Welcome here a lot... I'm always super confused as to why there are literally ten employees standing around the registers chatting each and every time we enter the store. Odd. They never ask if they can help you find anything or give you anything more than a obligatory "hello." Last time we came in they briefly acknowledged us. We forgot something in the car, came right back in, and they acknowledged us again as if they hadn't seen us 5 minutes prior. When you do need help, someone will assist, but some.. especially the women, seem bothered. The last time we came in the two most helpful people were two guys loading pallets. That being said, there are always a few staff actually working... it's the ten up front chatting that are frustrating. I'd say the prices are good and the selection is good. We will definitely be back for more materials, but they staff aren't a selling feature for this location. read more

Wanted to return $24 worth of vinyl trim edging. Department head refused because it was "bent". It's vinyl. It was in the car overnight. It has a slight curve that will straighten out in time. We are currently tearing out a bathroom at our cabin in Pinetop. Needless to say there are no Floor and Decor's up there. So we had to make sure we had EVERYTHING to take up. Went to F&D to start buying and learning about the Schulter Shower Systems. Thank God we ran into Keith Roberts from the Professional Contractor's Counter. He spent well over an hour with us. Giving us advice, helping us pick out materials, suggesting different ways of getting our project done. We couldn't be happier. He was far and above just average customer service. My husband and I have used Floor & Decor for several flooring projects in our home. Recently we needed flooring for a small pantry area and luckily we were assisted by Amy who was super helpful! She really went above and beyond in telling us the pros and cons of each type of flooring and figuring out how much we would need to order, etc. And was incredibly patient even though we were indecisive! Prices are usually competitive, the only negative is the check out process is incredibly slow and there are never enough people at the registers. read more

Great prices good selection of tile, slow service. Checkout girls seem bothered to have to help you and in no hurry. I purchased 20x20 travertine tile. It was rung up correctly ... I pulled around back to get loaded up. We got home my tile guys unloaded all the tile only to find out we got 18x18 pieces. I called and told the manager the situation asked her to send picture of receipt and tape measure next to tile to get credit. We will keep the 18s as we don't have time to deal with reloading returning and getting new. We love 30-40 mins away. Manager refuses to help saying we had to bring the back with receipt.... their error is causing us over 1 2/2hours of our day gas and mileage. Terrible customer service!!! Ordered flooring today and was assisted by Connor. What great employee, was very helpful and stayed with me through the whole process. Connor helped me with getting a credit card account setup also. He was very patient and helped me load the 5 rolls of laminate padding. He also setup to have the 105 boxes delivered. You dont receive customer service like this from lowes or home depot. If you are considering any type of flooring or tile work I highly recommend going to Floor and Decor before purchasing somewhere else. The prices or so-so, not amazing deals to go nuts over, about the same as a regular home improvement store, maybe a TINY BIT less. The customer service is not good, you can stand around waiting for someone to answer a question forever and end up just breaking down and going to find someone in the store and walking them over to where you were standing and waiting. I have bought and returned things from the Glendale location on 4 separate occasions within about a month's period for a kitchen remodel and every single time I am in line waiting at least 15 minutes, not because they are busy, or there are long lines, it just seems like they always have only 1 - 2 cashiers on duty at any given time and are very slow at returns/purchases. The only time I would suggest coming here is if your tile or flooring contractor requires you to. You can get way better service at a standard home improvement store and I can't really see a price difference. read more

I love this store, I've literally spent thousands of dollars over the years. I decided to schedule appointment online with their designer to get ideas on a bathroom shower and tub remodel.I showed up and check in. Them a young male teenager (couldn't have been over 21) with long hair and black painted finger nails who looked like he just rolled out of bed says he's my designer and meet him at the desk in 5 minutes. I literally walked out the door and rescheduled at another store. You've got to be kidding me. First appearances matter. Are these designers just employee's off the street? I'm spending thousands of dollars for a messy young man to tell me what I need? Yikes. read more

Floor and Décor deserves 0 stars for the costumer service that they provide!!!!! Be aware that the customer service at the store is awful. I'm having some troubles with my recent purchase and the girl answering the phone just keep hanging up on me. I hope I can speak with the store manager "Jed Hauser" but I have not been able to reach him because the trashy receptionist won't let my call to go through. At this point they are not answering my calls any more. A simple help call has turned in to a 45 min drive to the store to resolve my problem. read more

We had a huge order to tile the entire floor in our house and remodel 3 bathrooms, and Amy was tremendous to help us get our order completed and delivered. We had been shopping for tile for our new outdoor kitchen. Floor and Decor seemed fair in pricing. On April 10th we asked for Brock to help with size and advice, he spent 2 to 3 hours with us. Under his advice we purchase everything from thin set, two different grout, grout maximized and all the tile. He told us the directions were easy and if you were having an installer there would be no issues. We voiced our concern many times, this tile is for an outdoor kitchen. Floor and Decor does not have installers but a list that you can call on. They are not affiliated with these installers. The tile took 2 days, by Saturday the 12 x 12 Marble were cracking where the veins of the tile were located, then what appears to be grout in the tile comes through. We called Brock and he said I have never heard about this, I am going to do some phone calls and I will call you back, the next day we didn't hear and it was time to put all the equipment in place. We called Brock and he was not there. The lady on the phone said there was nothing they could do to help. I asked for a manager and Chris spoke to is. He said that it was an installer issue, but he would replace the damaged tile. We said it was installer because the direction on all the products that came from Floor and Decor were followed. We asked if he would b willing to come to the house to see the tile that was cracking he said no, it was an insurance issue. He said again we needed to call installer, he didn't see the tile or ask for pictures. He pretty much didn't care. Honestly, other then removing the tile which we would have to remove it all, why would we replace it if we don't know what caused it. We selected four different tiles and the marble is the issue. I am not an expert but it looks like the problem is in the make of the marble. Had at anytime they had said we are sorry for your experience, send us pictures anything, there solution that day was for us to wait two days until Brock was back and would call us. Both the girl on the phone and Chris suggested the same thing. Now I have been in that store many times, and I hear other home owners asking advice, this is not a p,ace for advice this is where you go to get inexpensive flooring. Do your research before you go. Speak to many people about the type of tile you need for your project. Our first experience was April 19th. We purchased the 12 x 12 emerald or Marble. I believe that this type has a flaw and I would advice you not to buy this tile. The other tile that as bought that day we have no issue. I need to say we had two use two types of grout because of the tile I picked. Just because a location has flooring in their name does not mean every associate understand that product. I didn't want or expect Floor and Decor to replace my tile. I wanted advice a solution something other then blaming a professional installer. July 2016: since the review was written Floor and Decor has go above and beyond to work with is. They had an independent inspector to determine the base on the issue. It has come back that it was the marble, there was a fix that could have been done, however, Floor and Decor wants to remove the marble and replace with granite. Granite will not have a filler. We think that they have gone to great lengths to work with us and we are happy with their customer service. Our lesson is hen doing a project, even if dealing with experts in the field talk to several places. read more

Not impressed. I will say, the place seemed well laid out and easy to navigate without any help from the staff, which was probably a good thing since not a soul approached us the entire time we were there. From what I could gather, they were too busy rounding up carts in the empty parking lot, so I guess that's what's important? At least with the good layout, we easily found our way to the wood flooring we were interested in looking at. While I liked the display and the fact that they had several varieties installed on the ground for walking on, I couldn't help but wonder why they weren't better identified or at least cross-referenced somehow to the product on the shelves. Like something you see on the ground and the way it feels under foot? Good luck figuring out which product it is! The samples themselves were another story in good thinking coupled with poor execution. They have a decent shelving system with an entire grid full of samples, but there are several issues that make it not so user friendly. First and foremost, it literally starts at your feet, about an inch off the floor, and works up to about waist high. That might work well for hobbits that want to peruse some oak flooring samples at ankle height, but for the rest of us normal humans, it kind of sucks. Why do I need to get on my hands and knees to fetch samples? What's more, many of the samples were stacked in their respective sections upside down, making it impossible to see the color/grain of the wood without taking one out and flipping it over. Why, oh why, would anyone in their right mind conceive of stocking the samples this way? You had one job, right? On that note, there are no samples available for the numerous 'special order' flooring options that they have on display. Why, oh why would you not provide samples for these? We actually saw one we liked, but no sample, no sale. Another thing that surprised me was that they actually charge money for their flooring samples here. It's not much, under a buck, but come on. The big box stores give these out for free, and so do a lot of other places. The whole thing chaps my ass not because of the money, but because I now have to get in line and wait to pay. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but the lines seem to move incredibly slow at this place, so it just feels like salt in the wound. Speaking of, after standing in line for what seemed like way too long just to buy some samples, an employee looked over at us and asked, "Are you ready to check out?" Is there a more asinine question you can ask someone who is currently (and has been for some time) standing in a checkout line? And no, nobody asked if we found what we were looking for or had any questions, just took our money and sent us on our way. Couldn't have given less of a shit if they tried. The last thing I'll mention is that while we were there, we saw not one but two pit bulls being walked through the store by their degenerate owners, who obviously just wanted to let their dogs stretch their legs and had no intention of buying anything. Obviously not service dogs, and I can't imagine I need to point out to anyone the sheer idiocy of letting people bring dogs into a place with wood flooring stacked up everywhere. Hope you like your product with dog piss all over it! Not really any customer service to speak of, poorly thought out product displays, charging for samples (if they even have them) and letting people use the store as a dog park? No thanks. read more

Overall I love floor and decor! We went to the camelback location for our purchase and had a great Experience even though we were sold wayyyyy more tile than we needed for the measurements we gave them. After the job was done I called this location to have them come pick it up because we were literally 20 boxes of tile over what we needed and they told us it would cost $125 to come pick it up even though it was there fault. So me and my wife loaded it onto the truck. Which obviously is heavy and not a fun process. We get there in the back and the guy who was on the forklift out in the parking lot then says you have to take to the front. We get to the front and they say no you have to take it to the back. Then we finally get everything unloaded and my wife goes inside with the receipts and they refunded it back to the wrong card and said " sorry we can't undo it". The associate didn't even ask about how we wanted it refunded or if the card was even good anymore! Overall Glendale store needs to get it together. Very disorganized. read more

ZERO Stars if I had the choice. I visited this store last night at 8:30pm 6/16/2018 and I was looking to purchase porcelain tile for my patio and found a "lot sale" where you have to purchase the entire lot because it was a clearance closeout special and I spoke with closing Manager Jason, who told me he would honor the price on the Yellow and Red Tag because he noticed that the pile of tile was miscounted. When my husband and I proceeded to check out the said he was going to give us a discount of 50% and I was confused about what he was talking about but said ok and went with it, I figured "GREAT" he was giving a great deal. But to my surprise, he was charging us MORE than he had given his word for on honoring the original closeout special price. When I asked him what he was talking about, that he had promised to HONOR the price AS MARKED, he stated, "he mis-spoke". What the hell does that mean??? I was angry and said, NO Thanks, I will take my business elsewhere, because he LIED and DID NOT HONOR the price AS MARKED. to make things worse, he said loudly as we walked away, "Have a Nice Evening!" What a smarty pants. I will never shop there and I will let everyone I know how they do business at this location. Seriously, this place is absolutely the worst place to buy tile from!!!!!!!!!!! We found tile for our house, after searching for a long time. So happy to finally find it Went in and placed my order, paid, and manager said it was coming in the next day. So I scheduled my tile company to install for 5 days later. Well, I checked at the store the night before installers were scheduled, they said it didn't come, but will be coming that night. So I had to change my installation start date. Then the exact same thing the next day. Then it literally happened again 2 days later. Seriously? I finally gave up on them, and went and had to pick a different tile at a reliable company. When I went in for a refund at Floor and Decor the cashier told me my mistake was scheduling installation. Horrible customer service read more

I ordered flooring two and a half weeks ago that was supposed to ship from a Florida store. Florida decided to not let anyone know they sold it the next day even though I paid for it. It took me calling to find that out. Then I was told it would ship the upcoming Monday and didn't ship until Wednesday. "7-10 days" for shipping is going to turn into at least a month. read more

Floor décor has a good selection of tile but that's it. All the installers are 3rd party and are very unreliable. They ask for 1/3 deposit (600.00) at measuring and you never meet the people installing. Undependable, poor communication between Floor décor rep and installer. He showed up 4 hours late, did not bring the materials as we were told he would. He was to have started on the job by 10:00 and did not actually start until 3:00. Then today he stated he would be back about 9:00 and. It was 12:30 pm and still no one and we called to try to reach out to floor décor they stated they would find him and call us back. That was 1 hour ago and still nothing. Plenty of places to shop for tile in AZ... I definitely would not go here. And would never hire an installer that does not come see the job himself. If they can not take the time to care about their customer, and give them the very expensive time you are paying for, then I will take my business to someone who does. read more

I would have originally given Floor & Decor a zero star but Matt turned around our experience! We went in to pick out flooring when we finally made a choice about 45min later we went to tell them how much we wanted there was a group of 3 employees that explained they didn't have all the same times (color and width) mind you there was no sign stating this nor were these tiles in the clearance section. They came back over to where we were and said that they would discount them for us. Just when we were going back to the drawing board a kind gentleman, Matt, came over and said he would check in the back to see if any one had returned any. He came back 10min later saying they had all the same width and color and it meant a lot to us that he had gone above and beyond! Thank you so much Matt! Please hire more Matts! read more

Spend over $10K in just the past month for remodeling my bathrooms. Thought I would try the peel and stick wall planks for my office. 2 days after installing it, the panels are coming off and won't stay on. Filed a claim with F&D and they basically gave the me the CYA BS and wont stand behind the product and neither will the mfg? Basically I am stuck with garbage on my wall, if I take it off, it will destroy my texture. Lost my business for the future!!! read more

Beware of doing business with people who do not have integrity. The manager of this location allowed/supported their family member in writing a negative review about a competing business. Store was generally clean and organized. If we needed help, we were able to find it and actually mentioned the man's name to the people upfront to recognize his efforts. Prices seem to be OK and the variations in the ceramic tile we purchased was also OK to good. Our biggest issue was with the installation - if approached by the "installers" there in the store - RUN! Do not use them or the company "Installation Made Easy" (which is in itself an oxymoron) that oversees the installers. Find your own installers and use referrals for similar flooring. A little time spent finding good installers will increase your investment dramatically. (Not sure why my name is showing S.F.... but we live in Surprise AZ!) read more

Been to this store many times and had good a experience but this last visit has made me never want to step into this store again. While getting assistance to load my cart Stephanie came over and asked if there was a problem with an attitude. I told her no and went on with my shopping, unfortunately 2 boxes that were loaded were the wrong product. I went back up to the register to ask about getting those two boxes changed, Stephianie told me I was rude and disrespectful to her employees and pretty much told me to leave the store. This didn't go over well since I was neither, both myself and my cousin were shocked at how she treated me. I should have left but did make my purchase and got out of the store. read more

I went to the showroom, looking for a backsplash for my newly installed sink/counter top. I was told if I needed any kind of tile, or stone, that was the place. I took my trusty dog, Duke, with me, not knowing if the business was dog friendly. When we walked in, I couldn't believe my eyes. My sources weren't kidding when they said, "if they don't have it, you don't need it." The warehouse is massive. The selection was so vast, I didn't know where to start looking. I finally asked for help. The gentleman that helped my took time to show me where things were, and didn't seem short. In fact, he acted like I was the only one in the store. When I finally made my decision, on what kind of stone I wanted, I was having trouble finding matching pieces. Once again I asked for help, and, once again, I was helped. I purchased travertine. I got away for less than $10.00. If I was to go somewhere else, I wouldn't have any lunch money. I highly recommend this place for all tile/stone. Great staff, and they treat you like family. My experience at this particular location was okay, what made me never want to come back was this one elderly man who work in the inspiration gallery. He was showing me around some tiles, and would constantly get frustrated with me. At one point he got so frustrated with me, he murmured something to himself and walked away from me. The other workers were fine because they left me alone to view these tiles, but this elderly man was a complete c*nt. read more
