In preparation for our bathroom remodel, we made numerous trips to Floor and Decor at Castleton Corner, Indianapolis, IN. The associates were always friendly and helpful. However, the outstanding service of RaShawn merits mention. He is knowledgeable, patient, and personable. His many suggestions of options were great. From there, we purchased the vanities and mirrors. RaShawn was so helpful in our selection of tiles for the shower, walls, and floor. To start off they sold for pick up today at the Castleton location, products that were still on order and wouldn't be showing up for 3 weeks. So for some reason even though I chose their store for the location, they don't let you know you cannot pick it up for weeks before you purchase. Incredibly shady tactics to just get your money so you are just screwed into sitting around or asking for a refund from the bank, which I am sure they would fight. Then when we arrived to ask for it they let us know it wasn't available and were probably the MOST unhelpful people I have ever met. There were some available in their other store but they would not have them transferred up so they expected us to drive the 45 minutes to the other store. Furthermore, they refused to ask them if they were actually in stock and demanded that we call their other store to find out if they still had the item in stock even though they told us it was in stock there. Then and only then would they transfer our order down there, otherwise too bad so sad, we just had to wait the weeks to get something we paid for to pick up today. Needless to say I will be looking for an alternative supplier for the product that I buy weekly, and have bought from them dozens of times with no issue before. I will not spend money at a place that acts like this. I would suggest you look elsewhere as well, especially if you expect any sort of customer service, common courtesy, or getting things on time. read more

Was at the checkout with flooring for a small project when a smug guy said (not the cashier) said the flooring I chose required an underlayment that cost $60. When I asked why, he rattled off a list of reasons, none of which convinced me, but he eventually admitted that I could use the $20 from Home Depot. Doing so, however, would void the warranty. So, in short, they want to up-charge underlayment 3 times and use threats to get you to acquiesce. They picked the wrong guy. I will NEVER return. Their product and prices are NOT worth it. read more

I ordered a pre-fab 112" granite countertop which included a backsplash. Contractor dropped it off and the backsplash is 3-1/2" shorter than the countertop. What in the world would I do with that? I called, assuming it was a mistake and they told me that's just how they sell them. They said they'd find someone to explain why they come that way and how to install it. But then didn't end up having anyone that would explain it. Beware if you buy one of their pre-fab granite countertops that the backsplash may be 3-12" too short! Really great selection of flooring and tile at this large warehouse-like store. Selections in all price ranges to help you stay in your budget. If you have a small project, they seem to usually have a few clearance tables to get a nice deal if they have enough left for what you want to do. As I mentioned in my tip, I find they have better prices by $1 here and there on most supplies that you might get at a big-box hardware store, which can add up over the course of your project. Also really like that you can buy whole-piece samples at a discount rate that are returnable for you to take home and see how you like the material in your lighting. What doesn't work, you can return and you aren't out anything except a bit of time to go through the return line. As far as installation and design consultation that others have had trouble with based on reviews, I can't comment to that because we do our own work. Unfortunate they have that problem, but for DIY folks, you can't go wrong with checking out the selection here. read more

This was our second time coming in and working with Adrianne. The first time was for flooring for our nursery, and this second time we wanted to pick out tiles to redo our master shower. Let me just say, Adrianne knows what she's talking about. After she helped us pick out the perfect tile, she then helped with grout color, shelving color, and edging. The store is good but their level of commitment after the Installation Made easy experience sucks (present tense as store manager never returned calls and store tells you to call corporate-who just has some call center tier 1 call and leaves a message). Do not use Installation Made Easy for tile install or anything. They ruined my bathroom and have zero intention to honor a warranty it. It is a 60 man team that is just there to mark up. Look up the previous name of company and let their complaints scare you. They lived up to those. Over $3,000 material wasted and living a nightmare to fix. No accountability. --update. We have generally had positive experiences with this merchant in the past, but today's events were not positive at all. We purchased floor and wall tile for a shower remodel today. Because some of the materials we purchased were still on pallets, we were asked to return for pick-up about an hour later which we did. It took another 40 minutes for our order to be pulled, during which time we received no communication whatsoever as we watched several subsequent orders pulled and loaded. When we asked about the status, we were met with a series of excuses ("we're really busy", "we had to take a pallet down," etc). Finally what we believe was the manager snapped at us about all that was involved in filling our small order. At no time was an apology for the delay offered. I will add that at one point in this process, the individual who had been asked by the dock supervisor to pull our order was seen rounding the corner with his McDonalds bag evidently heading to lunch. Anyone or any team can have a bad day, but this struck us as a disorganized and inefficient operation at best. We don't intend to return. read more

We went in search of tile for a kitchen backsplash and were so impressed with the amount of choices of tile! We asked a few employees questions and everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable and if they didn't know put us in touch with someone that was. I purchase porcelain tile and bathroom tile from floor and decor the total purchase was over 1k. The product was delivered by a third party hired by the store. The driver arrived with the product and it was soaking wet from the rain and was not covered in his personal pickup truck. The product was not in box and missing pieces. The manager CJ stated he was not responsible for the delivery and recommended I contact the deliver company. Please keep in mind the deliver company was hired by the store. Please see attached photos of product delivered. I will make a call to the corporate office. They charge 200 dollars for delivery 20 miles from the stor. read more

This process began on 1-29-2021 with us contacting Floor and Decor's Customer Care and Escalation Department. As of 3-5-2021 (5 weeks) Floor and Decor had not filed a claim with Bruce flooring which is required in order for the manufacturer to move forward with resolution. Every "promise" for a return call from Floor and Decor is unfulfilled. I would like to clarify that there is a vast difference between Bruce Flooring's customer service and Floor and Decor's. Bruce always answers the phone and your questions. They sold and shipped the flooring to Floor and Decor when it was likely in perfect condition. Improper storage at Floor and Decor is the likely cause of the warped boards. Unfortunately, their name is being tarnished by Floor and Decor's poor service. read more

We had the best designer to help us, Tim Blubaugh. We purchased flooring for the whole house and for the baths. Tim was very professional, knowledgeable and very patient with us. He assisted in picking out everything and measured our floor plan to make sure we were getting the right amount for the job. I spent several days with him. My husband and I are beginning a bathroom remodeling project. We stopped into Floor Decor last weekend and found a few tile patterns we liked. We made an appointment with Julissa Nova for a decorating consultation today, Dec 29 at noon. We were instructed via written material provided by Julissa to come prepared with ideas, measurements and finish samples. We worked diligently throughout the week to gather and organize these materials and received several emails reminding us of our appointment today. We arrived at our appointment today after our half hour drive to Castleton only to be told that Julissa was "sick" today and did not show up for work. Neither were there any other "designers" available. We asked to speak to the manager on duty who simply shrugged and said there was nothing he could do. Not even a "sorry" was uttered! We understand that employees become "ill" at times but to simply not even notify us of the cancellation was inexcusable especially since we had made the half hour trip for the single purpose of meeting with this designer. It is obvious that as potential customers we are not valued nor is our time respected. Wow! I can't think of any reason why we would ever shop or recommend such a place when there are dozens of flooring snd tile shops vying for our business. Really horrible experience. And I'm sure this disrespect and lack of concern would carry over into other aspects of this company such as product assistance snd delivery. RUN don't walk away from this business!!!! read more
