We bought all our tiles to renovate our 3 bathrooms from Floor and Decor (First and probably last time). Due to a recent foot surgery to remove a cancer tumor, I had to request the materials to be delivered and not picked up. The lady who was helping me contacted her manager (Art) to help her setup the delivery but, on the walkie-talkie he was reluctant and asking what does she want... what is the problem... etc and the poor associate was not trained to do this. Although explaining my situation and that I do not have a drive-aisle or curb; I simply asked to drop it at the Front Porch. Unfortunately, not acknowledging my situation and with a careless tone he tells the associate "that is it and this is how they deliver." I signed the waiver and left and have this review holding you responsible for any post-surgery damage if I was in a position to transfer the tiles to my front porch. read more

They messed up my order. When I purchased 3 days ago, the cashier told me that the tile is ready to be picked up anytime which is wrongful information. This morning when my contractor tried to pick up tile and it's not ready . Luckily Alex , one of the staff, came to rescue. He replaced my order to Santa Ana branch . But I had to make my contractor pick up at different stores which waste more than 1 hours back and forth. And I realized the same tile charged differently in different stores. I got $75 back coz Santa Ana store sell $1 cheaper per tile . I'm grateful for Alex ' s help . But todays experience is not so pleasant. Store with a very huge collection of tiles, ceramics, LVPs for flooring and walls. Visited this a few times to pick up materials for a friend's bathroom renovation. The staff is super helpful and prices for all materials are well displayed. Good place to look at how various tiles and designs look post installation so that we can make correct decisions in time. Staff: Today being probably the 10th time we've been in since May, their service really stood out. I spoke with Eugene to ask his opinion on a tile backsplash. He was happy to help and even checked in with me later as he saw me in the store. Eugene was genuinely interested in helping. Next Sean helped me check the availability of some tile. He was friendly and patient as we checked the website. Lastly, as I was strolling around I overheard that one employee was a designer. I asked her if I could get her opinion and she was more than happy to help. Her name was Madison. She was the rockstar of the day and spent time providing feedback and design explanations. In the end I was finally able to select the tile I needed. Selection/Value: Tons of selection and prices appear to be fair. Overall: Been in too many times as I've tried to find the perfect look for our home remodel. We ended up buying our flooring here back in May. I had a horrible experience at my local Floor & Decor. When I was finally able to get in touch with an associate on the phone at this location I was able to get an answer about a tile that I was looking at. Shout out to Carlie at this location for not only doing a visual but also getting back to me right away! We went to this location after determining that they had enough tile for the bathroom we were remodeling. When we got there we realized that the tile I had my eyes on was not rated for floor but only rated for wall. I was so bummed but ended up with a different tile that I am in love with. The whole process was easy and the associates were super friendly and helpful & answered all of our questions. The reason for the three stars really has to do with lack of staff to answer the phones, which seems to be a corporate wide mess. It's so difficult to get someone on the phone and when you do, they usually have no idea what they are doing. It seems to be a pattern in most of the stores I have contacted. read more

Recommend an appointment with the designers. I had a wonderful experience with Lisa Fabrizio. I was overwhelmed with a bathroom design and she made it so easy and elegant. I didn't want to use real marble for the shower walls due to upkeep, but didn't like the way that schluter trim looks as edging. She gave me a marvelous idea to use pencil marble in addition to the porcelain tiles and real calcatta marble tiles. It looks so wonderful. She really helped me resolve this conundrum. read more

After a horrible experience at the floor and decor in Santa Ana I decided to get a second estimate at a different store I ended up being connected with specialized surfaces through the floor and decor employee. Again the estimate took a couple of days price was reasonable. No shopping list but more out rages the lack of proper license this is the second vendor recommended to be by floor and decor and their partner installation made easy WITHOUT proper licenses. I'd rather pay a little bit more for people who are licensed. At this point I feel like I would have been better off negotiating with a guy at the Home Depot parking lot. When you visit a floor and decor you expect for licensed professionals. My projects require license and city inspections. My time is valuable. read more

The derive at this store is extremely bad. Went there to purchase tile knew what I wanted waited 45 mins to get someone to help me finally had to complain to manager! Then went back tonight for more tile and some old guy with a ponytail walked up to the register and helped 2 people behind me first instead of asking to help the next customer.
