I was in here with my husband earlier today, we were so excited to make our purchase with the confidence of knowing that we had found the floor that would be right for our family room. To our disappointment, it was such a shame that everyone we encountered during our short stay there was so bothered by us, our questions, or our presence. Is it because of the fact we were gay...I don't know but it was like everyone was so bothered by our questions. From the woman who was handling our return of our floor sample who was kind of rude in her tone with handling our transaction, to the guy who [helped] (for lack of better words) with our questions we had with our flooring. He seemed so bothered with the few questions we had, and his "oh well" answers quickly dampened our mood. Sucks, there was so much beautiful flooring here, but the staff here just seems so unhappy that they took it out on us? We decided to leave in search of flooring options elsewhere, hopefully where our business is appreciated. read more

I love this store their prices are good. Only down fall is their is the kids they call designers. I have had 3 kids over the years. One time they so over allotted me tile backer board and grout I ended up returning 1/2 the load. Hated it I took it up to Big Bear. Next time I got a kid that had only been working there a month. the next time I got a girl that had been doing it about 2 months. Professional is someone who goes to school not someone on their 1st job. This last time the girl was very nice but again only working for Floor decor for 6 months. I just told her what I wanted she could not really help me design like I said she has not education in that field. We shall see how it turns out. BY FAR THE BEST..... Floor & Decor I have EVER been to and each time i have gone in, the employees there are always with a smile and so high energy and each time i have gone in i have had no problem getting the help that i needed. Couple times that i've went in there there was this new hire girl that has helped me both times and I've got to say, Floor & Decor know how to train their workers. I asked this girl how long she had been working there cause she sounded so professional and so sure about how the store worked. She said she had only worked there for two weeks. I was having a very difficult time in deciding my bathroom and flooring options but after meeting with Tracy, she helped me decide the color and type of flooring and she is very particular about choosing the right grout color to really complement the tile colors. She turned a stressful task into such a fun project with her spunky personality. She actively listens to your design ideas and turns it into a masterpiece. She is very patient and accommodating to my flight of ideas. Never did she push me to something I didn't like AND she was very conscious of my budget point. Tile stores, like most home improvement decisions, can be stressful and at times confusing as you are trying to balance your budget, design and ultimately keeping your wife/significant other happy. In steps Tracy, one of the store's designers. She was able to walk me and my wife through the different designs and options in our price range and helped us select the correct tile and color grout. She was also extremely patient and helpful as our tile installer wanted a specific type of grout (not rapid-setting - he wants to move at a slower pace - I don't blame him). Tracy was able to track down the grout color that she helped us select to offset with our tiles, and made our lives and tile shopping experience much easier. Bait and switch setup. Be aware of your purchase plans. I purchased the inexpensive laminate option in advance to allow it to acclimate. When I later went to buy the trim pieces they advertise in store, they don't stock those pieces. Instead they are a special order piece and there is an additional $20 fee to bring in a $22 item! I now cannot return the flooring and I'm potentially forced to pay $20 for every trim piece needed. They need to offer to stock their advertised items, include the fees in the advertised prices or waive the freight cost. read more

Went to Floor & Decor some time ago to re-model our bathroom, we had been there before to do the flooring in our kitchen and entry way and got the best service from Eddie there. So when my wife and I were ready to do the bathroom we went down there expecting to see Eddie again but instead got the Designer Caroline. She was fantastic and knew how to answer our questions without overwhelming us more than we already were. Will definitely be going back to do the rest of our renovations! read more

This store is the best store to shop for tile, granite, back splashes and everything else you need. The help is so friendly and helpful. We had an unfortunate error with an incorrect amount and the managers were very helpful in rectifying the issue. Roxanne the managers and Tino are an amazing ; they took good care of us and made the issue disappear with such grace and a friendly approach. Totally recommend this company to everyone!! We went here twice to pick out our flooring. We were impressed with the many options available and the prices were pretty good. We chose a Nu-Core bamboo flooring, dark brown, and we are very happy with it. They even let us return a few unopened boxes that we didn't use. We bought about 40 boxes total. So I gave this place 3 stars because of the installers they have on their payroll. First, they have a number to call on a crooked sticker on the back of the brochure, written by what looks like a 7 year old. Fine. We gave the number a call and gave our information and were told they would send out our information and one of their chosen installers will call us and schedule in a couple days. Well, this was about 4 weeks ago. I just got an email back yesterday. With an installer name on it. We have already rented a uhaul, driven to the store (an hour away), purchased the flooring, hired another installer, had it completed over three days, and returned the extra boxes. Seriously F&D? That's the best you can do with installers? If you want flooring done, purchase it yourself and find someone else to do it or DIY. Who knows how much longer we would have had to wait from that email to the measuring. Then the installation! No thanks! If we need flooring again, we will return here but will NOT use their installers. read more

I am a licensed general contractor. I had a few extra minutes while in Corona so I called ahead to the pro services department (Christina) and asked if they could pull some tile for me. I was just around the corner so I didn't expect much. In less than five minutes I walked in the door to find Kyle finishing up loading my tile already. I was in disbelief. He told me to pull around back and he would help me load it into my truck. I've been to many tile distributers over the years and always get slow and mediocre service at best. If the rest of the F&D staff can preform half as well as Christina and Kyle this will be my store of choice for all my clients! Good job! read more

Floor and Decor has great customer service. I came in to return some sealer I didn't need, exchange a box of tile that was damaged in transport and to buy more grout and more mortar. Leon and Espinosa were so helpful and not at all annoyed that all these products are too heavy for me to lift. They tag teamed and one of them was with me the whole time. This is the worst run flooring store I've ever been in. The staff is extremely rude and not at all helpful. When picking up a laminate order we were told 1. We could not load the product ourselves off the floor and 2. It will take at least 30 minutes to get a pallet down because there is one person waiting in front of us. While waiting well over 30 minutes I saw 4 people sweeping, 3 forklifts with the drivers sitting on them laughing and talking and 5 people standing around deep in conversation with other employees. We asked them to shrink wrap the pallet because we would use our forklift to unload it at the job site. You would have thought we were speaking German or something. They wrapped it and the shrink wrap was already coming off before we even left the parking lot. We asked if they are usually this busy because we'd order ahead of time the next time. The guy loading the truck said "how the f**k do I know? We don't care if you ever come back" nice way to treat a contractor. They advertise that they want contractors then tell us to our faces they don't care if we even shop there. Real nice. Save your time and money and go someplace where the employees are knowledgeable and decent. read more

Where do I start? I've never been SO disappointed with anybody's customer service. ESPECIALLY roxanne. Incredibly rude service and absolutely no manners or knowledge on customer service. I went there yesterday  and chose out a marble counter top and I was told to come back today to pick it up. I had taken a picture of everything to make sure I was going to revive my marble countertop. When I got there I was extremely disrespected by a rude woman called Roxanne. She has absolutely no manners at all. We arrived there and she gave us nothing but a hard time, and we ended up leaving without the countertop. I wasted my time, my money to rent a truck and I was disrespected. Never will I ever step foot again in such a low mannered store again. I 110% do not ever recommend going to this store again. I called (404)471-1634 to also complain about Roxanne and her terrible customer service. If I could give this  zero stars I would, but one will have to suffice. I was told YESTERDAY they had my counter waiting. They told me yesterday, that they had 5 in stock and when I arrive there, all of a sudden they've never had these counters?? No sense at all, and an extreme disappointment. I had to take 2 hours off early from work, rent a truck, hire someone to help me just for floor and decor to tell me they've never had in stock something they had in stock yesterday. My husband and I went into the Virginia Beach location to price some tiles for a project. Nate Y, asked us if we needed any help and answered all our questions. Which is what you'd expect, but then he offered to create a quote a for that included all the tools and supplies we would need to complete the job! He reminded us of things that for sure would have interrupted our project with multiple runs back and forth to the nearest home improvement store. We were able to purchase everything we needed and even schedule a time to pick it all up. And when we did it was ready to go - they loaded it all up into the back of our truck we didn't have to lug anything out. Thanks Nate for taking the time, we really appreciate it! read more

I went in yesterday and met Jasmine and Sam they helped me go over our design for tile in our bathroom. They were such a big help in picking out tiles and helping me see some small errors in my design and offered tips to fix them without sacrificing the over all look we were going for. These 2 girls were a huge help and saved us a lot of money by foreseeing some small issues I would have ran into. This location sucks. Horrible customer service, usually young, inexperienced, and clueless employees. The checkout experience typically takes longer than the rest of the visit here. Also, as a member of the pro program, I get samples of materials for free. However whenever I choose some samples it always confuses them at the register and adds another 10 minutes to my checkout time. read more

DO NOT BUY LAMINATE from this place. I bought a about 60 boxes of laminate and noticed that they would chip easily by rubbing my fingers across the boards. I opened 2 boxes and found that most pieces would chip. I went back to the store and they would not take them back because I "opened the boxes". The laminate has lifetime warranty! They stone walled me and said I need to contact the manufacturer for warranty despite the warranty clearly stating to return it to store. Any way I ended up buying a USA product from Lowe's and found a world of difference in quality. And I know Lowe's or Home Depot will stand by their product. I'm just trying to save an unsuspecting customer some misery. I almost bought 2 pallets of FD laminate. read more

She followed through with everything every step of the way. When I returned with a surplus of supplies, Cristina and her staff were extremely helpful. Not only did they help to answer questions my husband and I had about materials and installation along the way, they were very helpful consultants with all our remodeling questions.
