We got in the store and didn't realize that we needed an appointment for using one of the decorators. even though we were there at noon time, the decorators were booked up for the day. I was completely befuddled and ready to walk out until we met two of the associates- Isabel, and Desmond, a new employee that she was training. They were so very helpful; first of all asking if I needed help when I was standing there looking lost, and then staying with us for at least a half an hour while they helped us pick out tile, grout, and accessories.I would like to commend them for their wonderful service and for helping two people who didn't really know what they were doing! Floor & Decor has been our go to tile store for our home projects. The variety of selections makes our shopping experience worthwhile. We tend to spend at least an hour every time we step in the store because there's so much to choose from! In fact, about 2 years ago, I had to shop for specific tiles that buckled due to foundation issues. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find the exact match due to the age of the tiles. My first stop was Home Depot- no luck. Second stop was Floor & Decor- lo and behold, they carried my tiles! Happy dance in the floor aisle! I've been happy with their service and their selections. Don't get me wrong, there have been times when I've had to purchase tiles from other stores but that's been far and few between. Also, it helps that the new store is closer to my house AND it's next to Totally Wine. Score! read more

Adriana, Mitch and Devin to the rescue! Went to floor and decor to pick out flooring to renovate stairs and 2nd level of home. We also were looking for tile to renovate spare bathroom. All three of these associates were very helpful throughout our searching process. Another employee in wood floors was also helpful with helping us make confident decisions about stair nose pieces but I didn't get his name. Overall great quality products and great customer service. The one thing I noticed is that although these employees were excellent helpers, some of the other employees were less helpful and less knowledgeable. These less helpful employees weren't rude or incompetent, they just appeared to be less knowledgeable and less eager to help. read more

This is my 2nd experience with Floor & Decor. I can tell you that I was at first hesitant to go in pick out a grout color for our backsplash. I had the pleasure of working with Leslie. She took the time to show me the two samples of grout colors they had on display. In addition she showed me several other gray grout samples with the Mapei samples they had on hand. No only did she walk with me to get the grout, she asked if I needed sealer. She saved me a great deal of time in not having to come back for other things I also needed for our bathroom remodel. She wrote up an order for me, carried my things to the register (due to back issues I have), rang me up on a separate register and carried them out to the car. Oh my goodness I couldn't have asked for a more outstanding and caring person to help me. Leslie I hope you get a chance to read this review. You are a true asset to this company. read more

Have been to Floor & Decor twice. First time was to look and decide on tile, they second time was to buy the tile we had picked out. Both times the staff was attentive and courtious. When we went to buy the tile one of the young men there helped load the cart and then went and got us the grout, so we didn't have to push the loaded cart all over the store. He waited while I paid and then told me to bring my vehicle around to the curb and he would load the tile. Super nice young man, wish I could remember his name. Great employees! read more

What a frustrating experience... I will not be buying anything here again. I ordered three different tiles online that I picked up at the store. Got the pallet of tile home, unwrapped it, and discovered they had made errors in each of the three orders. I went through the hundreds of tile, counting and checking and then called the store to let them know exactly what was wrong/missing in my order. The girl was apologetic and called me back after talking to a manager and said I could come pick up what I needed the next day- that she would set it up front for me. I showed up at noon the next day and the guy at customer service said all my tile had been restocked since "it had been sitting there for ages." Less than 24 hours is "ages"?? So I waited and waited while they re-pulled all the tile only to discover they were 11 pieces short in one of the tiles. So then I waited and waited while a worker tried to communicate with the Austin store (which might as well have been trying to communicate with the moon) to have them ship their 11 pieces to this store for me (which I had to get a manager involved to avoid having to pay for them again even though they had been shorted me in my original order.) Eventually I left with the tile they had given me, and in loading my car discovered they had pulled several wrong tiles again... which I took right back into the store, where I could no longer find anyone to help me. So I waited and waited and eventually just set them on the counter and left. Who cares about the money at this point when it's your sanity at stake? Soooo... they said they'd call me when these 11 tiles finally came in. After a week, I gave them a call and they said I could come pick them up. Right tiles? No. They said that was because it was from a different origin than my others which they had thought would work- but I could just keep waiting for the Austin store to ship the 11 if I wanted. It's been two more weeks. I called today, sat on hold indefinitely, called again, got someone who was very apologetic- said she would check on it and call me right back. Do you imagine I got a call back? As their clever on-hold personality says in her spiel at one point, "I'll give you a hint: no." Oh that I could just be done, but sadly I'm not confident that the overage of tile I ordered is enough to allow for what I still lack. So I guess at some point in the future I will actually get to re-tile my bathroom. Who knew buying the tile would be the hardest part. read more

The inside service is A AMAZING here....Jessica at the door as you enter is cheerful, smiling and happy to assist you. And she's pretty! Israel helped us around the store and never left us and knew his products! Would highly recommend to ask for him when you need assistance! HOWEVER, the guys working the forklifts to put your purchased product in your truck, is a different story altogether. We waited over 45 minutes to get our load with only 2 vehicles in front of us. The forklift driver sat on the forklift and "watched" some guys unload, by hand, their palate because the contents wouldn't fit in their "camper truck". Mind you this palate was NOT on the forklift at the time but sitting in the delivery area behind his vehicle. We would highly recommend this business to have more then ONE forklift operator when the delivery lines start to get more customers. Similar to the grocery store opening more registers once the line starts forming! Overall the store is pretty awesome and we will recommend it and come back ourselves should we need more flooring! And the manager, Joel, is a really nice guy too! :) read more

Please do not use this s place. We made such a huge mistake. We purchased the fest part of a remodel project about $2500 and I regret every penny I have spent with them. Service is horrid. I will say one time out of 6 trips we spoke with Gina and she was great ( too good for this place) they have to be begged to provide basic customer service. They offer no professional opinions or suggestions. They have good selections and decent pricing but I will spend more money somewhere else for the remainder of my project. I have spoken with management and they are dismissive. Great potential here but an epic fail with their personnel. read more

So disappointed in this latest experience at Floor and Decor! We have remodeled two bathrooms and a fireplace and are just ordered travertine flooring for another bathroom remodel. The product is beautiful, but the service and their method of picking up is so disorganized and inefficient. I waited 25 mins to receive my flooring, as they must only have 1 forklift/crew to unload (3 guys). I had received an email 5 hours prior saying it was ready to be picked up. When they did get to me, I noticed that they had loaded a very badly cracked piece of travertine into my truck and were just ignoring it (16 x 16). I got out of my truck and pointed it out to them so they removed it. Upon inspection, they had already loaded four other pieces that were very obviously cracked/chipped that were not usable. I spent over $500 and would expect better customer service than what I received. I will not be coming back here. read more

I recently came to Floor and Decor with my parents and our handyman for their house remodeling project. When we entered inside, the store was very well kept with all aisles listed where to go. We came specifically for tile for the bathrooms. What I also liked was that every staff member were very friendly and helpful. Most of them were very knowledgeable about the tile. I will say the tile is very expensive, but you get what you pay for. They have different kinds of tile from classic to modern. They also carry sinks, demo baths, and other items as well. They did move from the 410 and Bandera location. Definitely plan on coming back again! read more

Decently priced but not helpful with loading. Asked me to sign a waiver to release them from any damage done to my vehicle while they load with a forklift. Signed the waiver but asked them not to use the forklift. Instead of helping us load our materials, they dropped the pallet and walked away. Nice.
