WOW! I've never seen such a broad offering in one place before. This is at Route 1 and Main St. in Saugus where the former K-mart was. I had to get some things a the Stop & Shop and I knew there was one at that shopping plaza. The Floor & Decor store was right next door and I had never seen one before or even heard of them. So, I went in to explore. I didn't need anything but, this was recreational window shopping. The store was clean and bright and the staff was polite. As I wandered I got ideas, lots of ideas for projects around the house. I was approached by a staff member, ROBERT ADAMS, who was pleasant and professional. I told him I was, "just lookin' " and he said, "Let me help you." Robert gave me a very informative and enjoyable "tour." Janet Cargill At FloorDecor in Saugus, MA made my whole experience very positive, helping and guiding me as I picked out tile for 3 bathrooms, fireplace surround and mudroom. She is highly knowledgeable and experienced not only the store's products but in design. She's been a designer for years! I SAVED so much buying purchasing my tiles and stones here. After choosing my tile with Janet's help (which involved several trips to the store), I purchased the tile/stone and had them hold it in the back. (order hold) My fabricator/tile person then picked it up. It was so easy. I will come back later and post photos of my projects. I have not encountered much breakage which I was worried about from such a big warehouse. They packed my tile, over 3000 pounds on two wooden pallets and then loaded them directly onto my fabricator's truck.I can't say enough about Janet. read more

My husband and I practically lived at Floor Décor for a week while trying to decide on various products for our home improvement project. During that time we were very impressed by all of their sales reps as they were always courteous and eager to assist us. If they didn't know the answers to our questions, they would find someone else who did. Their return policy is great as you can return extra pieces, while other stores will only refund a complete box. There are many different options to choose from and the pricing is very competitive with other flooring stores. Highly recommend Floor & Decor! Not only do they have a wide range of material to choose from but their customer service is above and beyond! I ran into a hiccup with my renovation where the floor on display was labeled wrong. After picking it up and bringing it back to my studio, I realized it was the wrong material. I was in a full blown panic for I was in a time crunch to open my business. Jaime fixed EVERYTHING. She made it possible for the right flooring to be delivered, while picking up the wrong flooring, and waved the delivery charged. Because or her, I am back on track to open my business on time! I have visited Floor and Decor, both in Saugus and Avon, for a recent kitchen project. I had been looking for backsplashes and kitchen floor tiles. The team members at both locations were so friendly and genuinely happy to answer all my questions. Honestly, the best customer service I've received from any retail store. Most recently, I was at the Saugus location, and Lonnie, the sales manager, went out of his way to answer a few questions I had. It required a lot of walking from one end of the store to the other. Not only did he help me, but he did so with a smile on his face the entire time. The products I had purchased were heavy, and he was considerate enough to help me place them in the trunk of my car. I can't say enough good things about this store and especially Lauri R. My husband and I visited the Saugus store on Saturday to purchase 80-16x24 travertine tiles. I had no idea how we alone would accomplish this task, but thanks to the amazing help of Lauri R- we got it done! When we told Lauri what needed, she took charge and within one hour we had loaded up about 20 tiles to take home with us, and the rest was loaded on a pallet awaiting pickup by my husband at a later time. Lauri made the whole process so easy and she was really personable and easy to work with. This is the place to be when youre working on your first home! A friend told me to visit this store if i am ever in the area. I found everything i needed from mortar to schluter trims and stones for my projects. The associates here were very helpful. Esther did a great job at putting my order together and pointing me in the right direction and I found out that they even offer free design services which is rare for a retail store. She introduced me to Danisa who is very knowledgable about the countertops and I might be coming back to purchase everything soon. Once again, I needed ALOT of help with renovation--- One project was to find marble to go in front of the front door. Bobby, one of the managers, had so many suggestions, but also has so much knowledge on the types that would work, and not so much. After, walking with me (for awhile) I found one I loved, where he then went to pick each tile (which were large) one by one-- I needed 19, so it took awhile, since marble varies so much. Jason at the Saugus store is GREAT! I went to the Saugus store because it was the only store that had the amount of hardwood flooring I needed in stock. I am not a professional and, therefore, rely heavily on assistance from the store staff. We had called Floor & Decor's 800# 4 times when we finally called the local store in Saugus. We got Nayeri on the phone who heard my concerns and ultimately put us in touch with the tile manager, Bobby Adams. Bobby was great! He was able to locate the tile and manage the sale, which was dependent on more stock arriving. Nayeri & Bobby were both great about making this as easy as possible for us. Greg, at Floor and Decor, in Saugus, hand-delivered my tile after I called and told him that the tiling professionals that I am using to complete the bathrooms at an Inn we recently purchased were only able to work through Dec. 3rd. The worst customer service ever!! The Waltham, MA, store manager named CALEB GAUDETTE, a big woman, refused my return just because there's some dirt on the tile packages. Another Asian woman with some eye problems said the tiles were wet. Of course, it was 25 degrees outside. Stay away from this terrible store.
