I was having my kitchen remodeled and needed new quartz counter tops and tile for a backsplash. Plus, new carpeting for my living room. Having used Floor concepts to purchase material for two-bathroom remodels, I knew they would be the perfect place to go for my material again. Babek and Jackie are fabulous. Jackie was able to help me choose the all the material I needed. She ordered the samples I requested, was honest with what looked good and made suggestions I never would have thought of - grout with a touch a glitter! Wow, it looks fabulous with the backsplash. She went above and beyond to get me tile when the one I ordered was locked in a warehouse due to Covid19! Which avoided my kitchen completion being delayed - lifesaver!! Babek has quality products and explained to me the difference between prefab quartz and a slab. Plus, he carries the quartz made in the USA! He was able to order it from Southern Ca and it arrived within 1 week. He has used his fabricators - the best by the way - for 20+ years! My quartz countertops look amazing. We got our solid hardwood floors from Floor Concepts and are so pleased! They have a ton to choose from and prices are very competitive! Babak was very helpful showing us various flooring options and also in explaining to us how wood floors need to be acclimated before installation. The floors we chose were not in stock and had to be custom ordered. Jackie was very efficient and helped us coordinate the logistics of ordering and getting the floors delivered on time. When the floors arrived, they inspected the shipment and even helped us get replacement for couple of boxes that appeared to have gotten damaged during shipment. The owner came to our house to measure for the engineered hardwood we purchased and called us to give us a quote right when he was done. Impeccable service. Can't wait to have them installed. This shop was a referral from a couple of my neighbors! All were very happy to promote this business because of their wonderful experiences! I was doing a total remodel on one of our homes so I decided to shop around for prices, selections, and quality. I decided to go with Floor Concepts because it was everything I was looking for. Perfect size shop that has a huge variety! Also, the staff were very in tuned with their products and what is on trend. They listened to my ideas and gave me great suggestions. They tend to get very busy but I guess that is a plus because they try to give you their full attention. So once you have them, you know they will focus all their attention on you. Best things come to those who wait..... Oh, pricing is very competitive! I shopped around a bit before them so I know. Also, those "bigger" stores just weren't too personable in my opinion. Buying a condo is a HUGE step and very scary when you decide you want to basically remodel the entire thing. It can be very $$$. A friend of ours referred us to the place since we lived in Campbell and it was close. We basically just needed materials because thankfully we had friends to help us install. Trust me this saves you big time. Lucky I have a handy boyfriend!! Ken was VERY helpful and nice to work with. I'm really indecisive so luckily he and my boyfriend offered helpful suggestions and helped me keep to my budget. We went in just for laminate flooring but ended up doing our kitchen and master bedroom too. I walked out feeling very happy with our selection and excited to see my new home when it was done! Our floor came out beautiful!! Pretty easy to put down too. Only took about 2 days. We went with the Cherry wood Wilsonart. I was a big fan of real wood with a piano finish, but this was much more durable so we went with it...I'm SO not sorry. I love it! Looks just like the real stuff maybe even better. This way at least I don't have to swear off heels. The kitchen I have yet to see done...they are putting the granite counter tops in tomorrow but I believe it will be great! We chose a beauuuuutiful color - Butterfly Verde. OH we also ended up ordering carpets from them, which went in today. The guy was really nice and very quick! Beautiful carpet. =) It's lighter than we thought, let's just hope it stays clean. It does come with a great warranty. Lucky for us the wilsonart was on special so we got a great quality floor for a reasonable cost. Ken was great! =) When you like the sales person you tend to want to buy from the store. I have been to around 15 or 20 different tile stores trying to find beautiful well-made tiles for our bathroom remodel. I can say hands-down that this is the best place. First of all, they greet you and pay attention to you when you walk in the door and ask if you want any help. So many of these places are so busy they just ignore you and no one even greets you. Second they have an incredible inventory, the best I've seen. Better than Bedrosians better than Porcelanosa even though they are a smaller store. One thing I will say is it is a little bit cramped but they also have much better prices than those fancy stores. I really liked Hector and Babak and felt like I was treated respectfully and fairly. They also had a lot of patience with me as I made up my mind between several really great choices. One tile that I found at another store was $1.50 less per square foot at Floir Concepts. I was very happy to find that. I really had a great experience today and had to write about it! They also have all kinds of other flooring including hardwoods, carpet, and laminate. I noticed they had some really interesting and unusual patterns for carpet. You will not be sorry if you check this place out. read more

Had a good experience picking out flooring with their sales person. Was happy with their competitive pricing. All we needed was the install estimate and to get on their calendar(we wanted to get this done ASAP). Basically all they needed to do was come to the house to do the measurements and give us the quote so we could move forward. Unfortunately, they never showed up and never even called to alert us. Very disappointed. Luckily, after calling around we found another company that carried the flooring we found at Floor Concepts. We will be moving forward with them. read more

We purchased tile for both our front porch and for our kitchen. On the upside Mia and most of the others, who work in the store, are very nice. We paid for the tile and grout two weeks in advance and asked that all tile and grout should be available to pickup prior to 8/24/15, a Monday. Our tile setters were scheduled to start the job on the 24th. The Wednesday prior I called the store and asked if our kitchen tile had been delivered to the store yet. I was told they hadn't ordered it yet because they had no where to store it. The store owner said he would order it and that it would be at the store by Saturday. I called back late afternoon Saturday, when I hadn't heard from them and was told that the tile wouldn't be delivered to the store until Monday morning, the day the tile setters were scheduled to start. Since the tile for the front porch was already in stock at the store, I said I would pick that up on Sunday, and the tile setters could then start on the porch. On Sunday they could only manage to get out of storage 8 of the 14 boxes of the porch tile and that I would have to pick up the rest on Monday, when the other tile came in. On Monday morning the tile setters began prepping the kitchen floor while I went after the tile. The kitchen tile was delivered about ten minutes after I arrived. One box had three broken tiles in it. I was told they would get another box of tile and would call me when it arrived, so we could get our three pieces. When they went looking for my two different colors of grout, they found that they only had one in stock and had to order the other one....the one for the kitchen of course. I was told that the grout would be delivered to my house the next day, as soon as possible. The next day It took three voicemails left on the store phone for me to finally get a call back after 1pm in the afternoon. However I was at the hospital, getting a shot when the owner called and didn't bother to leave me a message. I called him back at 3pm and was told that our grout had come in. My husband jumped in the car and drove over to the store to get it. And when he got there they could not find it! When my husband voiced his displeasure at how our tile and grout order had been mishandled the owner of the store yelled at him and told him to get out of his store, that he just wouldn't sell him the grout. We had already paid for the grout! My husband went outside the store to cool off, when the owner came out and explained that their delivery driver had taken it by accident and that it would be delivered to us by the end of the day. Finally at 6:30pm Hector (super nice, hard-working guy) delivered the grout and the three tiles that were broken. This store would do well to do better at communicating with each other on what they tell their customers regarding their orders, when and more approximate times when their items will be delivered. Especially if the items are holding up a job. And customers shouldn't be expected to pickup their items that are late coming in, nor should they be asked to delay their tile setters to accommodate the store! We gave a full two weeks notice when we ordered and we were assured that our tile and grout would be available before our project was to begin. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Overall nice people, but not a great experience for us! read more

Store staff: excellent! Jackie was courteous, accommodating, and patient as we tried to decide on the laminate floor pattern we liked. Babak the manager was professional and understanding as well. We chose our floor and they agreed to order and install it on Thanksgiving weekend to fit our construction schedule. They were willing to drive out 2 hours to Manteca to pick up enough laminate to do the whole job. What service! Installation: Isaac and crew were right on time on Black Friday after Thanksgiving. He carefully listened to how I wanted the laminate to be laid, politely asked for clarification and gave suggestions. Then they went to work. They finished the entire job by 6:30 PM on Friday evening and the floors look fantastic. What a great installer! Overall: I highly recommend them for laminate selection, price, and installation. They were local to my house and drove out with samples upon my request. If we ever do floors again, I will definitely use them again. read more

BUYER BEWARE...BE AWARE!! There were a number of red flags that should have brought our "relationship" to an end earlier than it did. The 1st red flag was that they failed numerous times to call me back when they said they would. When I called them back to see if they found the product & the price was agreed upon they said they didn't call back because a lot of time customers just want to find out the price but aren't seriously planning on buying...?!?! Does that make ANY sense?! If you don't call me back you're GUARANTEED not to make a sale. 2nd red flag, the fabricator was scheduled to arrive at 4:00pm to template...4:30pm, no fabricator...5:00, no fabricator. I call the store & they say they'll find out where he is & call me back...5:30, no call...6:00, no call...I call them back & the store is closed (red flag). WTF?! So we go out to dinner, at 7:30pm I get a call saying that he's at my house ready to measure...?!?! Um, 3.5 hours late? At least have the courtesy to call & say you're going to be late! We rescheduled for the following day & on his way out he shows me a sample of the countertop...looked pretty good & we were excited to have our new countertop in a few days. But, in my head, something about the sample was just not quite right. I called the fabricator after he left & asked him to double-check that it was the correct product which he quickly assured me it was. Still a little skeptical I hung up. On installation day he was supposed to arrive at 9am...10am no fabricator, 10:30 no fabricator...I call him at 10:45 the phone picks up but no one answers, call him back & I get voicemail. He finally arrives a little after 11 & begins the installation. I double-check the countertop with a sample piece that I picked up the day before & sure enough, the material is NOT the correct product...it looks extremely close to the Caesarstone & had we not had the real sample we would probably not have realized it was not the correct material. As I was comparing the two, I noticed the two fabricators quickly stopped working (red flag). I pointed out the difference & he says that because it's a man-made product there are slight variations in the color...OK, I can buy that but every sample I've seen looks exactly alike & this did not...very close, but definitely not the same. The 2nd & more damning evidence that this wasn't the correct material was that on the back of EVERY Caesarstone slab the company prints their name & the products information & color code & this piece did not have anything on the back. I pointed that out & he says that because the piece is a remnant it probably got cut off. In my head I'm calling B.S. because Caesarstone prints runs all the way across the short length of their slabs in diagonal & overlapping pattern so that for a slab of our vanity size there should have been at least a little bit of print. Furthermore, Caesarstone is unfinished on the back and this one was polished. I tell him that I don't think it's the right material but the it still looks good, but I don't want to pay for Caesarstone & receive another material, I want to pay for whatever I'm getting (Caesarstone can be up to more than double the cost of other look-alike products). He says he'll call the head salesperson to find out where he got the remnant & packed up his stuff and left. I call the salesperson that helped me & she sounds surprised to hear that I had an issue with it because she saw the slab herself & that they only get Caesarstone from one place. She claims to be unaware of the print on the back of the slab, which I find ridiculous since it took me all of one time to figure that out when I saw a slab in their warehouse. I told her my concerns & that if they can prove to me that it's Caesarstone then I'll agreed to continue with the installation but if they can't then I'll still buy whatever it is but at a reduced cost. She says that she'll call the head salesperson and find out what's going on. A few hours later the head salesperson calls me & says that they'll give me back my money since I'm not comfortable with the product & that they can look again for another remnant. I ask how long it'll take & he says "well, since I'm giving you back your money you're free to find another company"...in other words, "F off", which I was more than happy to do. Getting my receipt back for the credit on my card was yet another frustrating experience that I won't go into. It's clear to me that Floor Concepts is less than concerned with customer service, very unprofessional, & were fraudulently trying to sell me something that wasn't. They were relying on me to be ignorant of the subtle differences. I would STRONGLY caution anyone considering using their services, there are a TON of other companies out there! I found one who proved to be as inexpensive & far more professional and are thrilled with our vanity! If you do go with them be sure to educate yourself & MONITOR THEM CLOSELY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS!! read more

We had a disasterous experience here. Apparently, others have had good experiences. But the store is so poorly run - I certainly don't think it's "managed" - that if there is any kind of problem or delay, you're screwed. Read on: We went to the store in late May and chose the carpet we wanted. It was to be cut into 2 area rugs and an 8' hall runner. Our salesman, Ken, said he would need to contact the carpet company the following Monday to find out the exact cost for the cutting and binding. No problem. He also said it would take 2-3 weeks to make. No problem with that, either. Ken called in a few days with the price, I gave him my credit card # and the sale commenced. When we hadn't heard from the store by the end of June, (4 weeks) we called. It was as if they had forgotten us. NOTE: This store seems to be run by salespeople who are independent - there is no central computer or file. No one could help us that day, but they said Ken would call us when he came in on Monday. A week later, still no word. I called again, got Ken, and he had to contact the carpet mill. After a few days, we hadn't heard from him and had to call back - but it was Ken's day off, and we were told that we had to call when Ken was working; that, basically, no one there even gives messages to anyone else. I called the next day and Ken said that the guy who does the binding (locally) had got married and was on his honeymoon, so was behind in his work. By now it was July, six weeks after ordering. A couple of weeks later, we got a call that our rugs were in. We went down that Saturday and Ken wasn't working. No one could find the paperwork. All they knew was that the rugs were in, but they had not been sorted and tagged. Our rugs were there, but they didn't know where! The next Saturday we took them home. Upon getting home and opening the packages, we discovered that the hall runner was only 5' long instead of 8'. I called the store, but was told that I had to call back when Ken was working... So I did. Ken said he would investigate. He called back a few days later and said that the manufacturer had sent a verification of the rug dimensions to the store with the incorrect size, and no one had caught the mistake. So the store now had to pay the mill and the binder to make an 8' runner. This was late July (8 weeks) by now. Ken said he would call us when the rug arrived. 3 weeks later, still no rug. We called, and Ken investigated. He said the rug had been shipped two days before and we should have it within a week. This was August 18th, I believe, almost 3 months after ordering the rugs. Finally, we got a call on September 7th saying that the runner was in and we could pick it up "anytime". On September 10th we went to get the runner. (Of course, when Ken was on vacation...) There was only one runner, it was our pattern, but it had no paperwork showing that it was ours. The store employees felt bad but said they couldn't give it to me. (I didn't have my receipt with me, but not that it would have helped, as the package had not been paired with a customer, yet. And Ken's files were Ken's files and they couldn't be accessed by others... So I called Ken on his cell phone. After I'd been in the store for 30 minutes,he called back and told them I could take the runner, but that he wanted the 5' runner (which has been used in our hallway for, what, 6 weeks, now?) back! Will he get it??? read more

We just happened to go into Floor Concepts because it was near our house, and it turned out to be a very good thing. The showroom is small, but Babak the owner worked really hard to help us get what we wanted. HORRIBLE... The experience at this place has been terrible. We worked with Ken who was very nice and helpful. Once we placed the order though things quickly changed. First off they made you pay 100% up front which we do not like doing because what if you aren't satisfied with the work. The order was placed and a week had gone by and we never heard from them. We called and they arranged instillation for Friday at between 10-1030am they'd arrive. He never got here until 12 and you know how that goes when you have taken your day to wait for people. I tried to just reschedule but was told when I called the store that they would be here in 5-10minutes. When the worker arrived he told me that the store did not tell him to come until 11 and he had to stop and pick up supplies. Turns out he did not bring the right baseboard. Now I have to call and take another day, Monday, to have them come back and do the baseboards. They showed up today, 3 workers, and cut the baseboard and then realized it was again the wrong stuff. Back to the store they went for the right one. Finally installed but all scuffed up from the drive to our house. When I called the store I was told that it does get scuffed and it is meant to be painted (would have liked to know that ahead of time). Not in the mood to fight again just said fine and let them finish the job. On the phone call I was reminded that we got 10% off for our troubles on Friday, wow!!
