I would highly recommend not using Andrew and his Company. I used them as they were the lowest priced so that's my own fault. They are what you would call cowboys and are not a professional firm to use. Stay Away! The contractors hit my sprinkler and flooded my apartment within the first 2 weeks of demolition. I stayed with them to finish the job but they unfortunately completed it to a poor standard and lacked complete professionalism. The Company are not true to their word so watch out. The finishing was amateur and Andrew knows this. I've not heard a word after I asked him for money back due to the sub-par work. They installed my hardwood floors but I will have to get them re-done as they are creaking heavily and moving since they were installed poorly alongside the baseboards. They installed my kitchen countertops but couldn't seam the quartz correctly. The dry wall patch up was shoddy and not of a professional standard. (I'm in the process of finding a professional to fix the mess) Shower faucets were incorrectly installed which resulted in a leak behind my shower after a few weeks. I had to call in professionals to fix a basic task that one would expect of a contractor. This wasn't the only leak associated with their work. The shower door was installed incorrectly and not sealed (so am ending up getting it re-done professionally). The painting was patchy and again job preparation was appalling. My new floors were dented with paint marks, paint peeling off the walls (since they were not primed), dents on my new vanity. It's a good lesson to myself to next time carry out better due diligence on the contractor and not be fooled by someone's word. Use Floor to Ceiling at your own expense, you'll end up having to re-do the job and waste your time, energy and money. They are not professionals and worst of all are not true to their word.

Please stay away with this contractor. Andrew Chow is completely a fraudster. He offered me lower price than other contractors' estimate to earn my business, then take my money and run away, left unfinished job on site. Also, he charged me $3000 down payment which is violated state law. I am filing a complaint claim against this contractor due to this home improvement scam. For the workmanship, this contractor sub-contract to other contractor, low quality work, they install toilet even before drywall completed. I have to hire other contractor to fix his leftover job due to job abandoned. Again, be careful this guy charge illegal high down payment and they always ask your payment before the work started plus they don't have legal and formal contract to sign.

They recently finished my living room upgrade project and I am very happy with the results. My realtor recommended them for the quality of work as well as values for money. First is replacing carpet to hard flooring, Julie helped me along the process of choosing the right type/color. They do from time to time have different types of hard flooring that is on sale (which I think those r really good deal to grab) but the color I like was not. I went with it anyway (well, u don't get to change flooring very often so might as well pick ur fav color). Prior to placing order for the material, Julie did bring me a huge piece of floor sample for me to check and make sure it's the color I am going for which is very helpful. I am more than happy with the result(see pix!). I also wanna to have a custom cabinet for wine cooler . Pretty much decided on the spot what color and type of stone I want to go with and two days later, here it is my wine bar! If I would choose again I will go with clear glass for the cabinet doors but other than that everything looks great! They also provided inspection service which is very reasonablely prices. Highly recommend to ppl who are planning for renovation projects.

We hired Andrew in June to install a new kitchen window and glass shower door in our newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom. We were pleased that he was able to schedule an appointment so quickly. We showed up at the house to review his work and were just appalled.   I will break this review up into two parts, one for the window and one for the shower.   We found glass shards and scatterings of glass slivers all over the ground where the new window was installed.  These were from the window he replaced.  The shards, some of them 8" long, went in all directions.  We found them in the flowerbed, on the table, underneath the table, and over the entire concrete patio underneath the window (there was no attempt to clean them up at all).   He climbed up on our table to access the window and broke the table.  My wife had a decorative lantern on the table and it was shattered into pieces. This was his text response regarding the broken table and lantern: "Apologies for the mess created, as a courtesy I picked up your door and moved your table and plants to get access to window. The lantern fell over and was repaired. You have two out doors tables that are weathered and rotted, my worker climbed on top to waterproof and dented the surface." The shower door was installed incorrectly.  The doors were installed in reverse.  Handles were backwards.  The track at the bottom was not parallel to the shower pan edge.  The mounts holding the glass door were loose and crooked.  The easy close dampeners were not working.  The finish of the aluminum track is scratched off in multiple places.  The shower doors do not seal at the edges.  Water leaks through when the shower runs.  The shower doors do not completely close (the one on the right would only go about a foot to the wall and then jam).  The shower bar on the glass was hanging loose and un-tightened. Now we did invite him back to address the problems.   The shower door track is now crooked in a different place with white caulk smeared all over it.  There are multiple marks on the new tile.   A clear caulk is smeared over the marks on the tile at the top (thankfully it doesn't stick to the tile so we can remove it to clean the marks).  I don't know why it rubs off with just my finger and no solvent.  The white caulk smears with water.  Perhaps it wasn't water resistant sealant for a shower. We wish we had not brought him back the second time.  The kitchen window sealing looks better but the shower is worse.

Very good floor work in my house.

Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. He was very patient with us. We LOVE how everything turned out! We'll definitely be using Lumina Builders for all of our future projects.

We went with Forever Builders, who also did some demo for us when we first moved in. Among other things, we 1) stripped and replaced the floor, 2) demoed the built-in tub and replaced it with a soaking tub, 3) replaced the vanity countertops, 4) installed a chandelier and sconces, and 5) installed a custom shower door. Steve was our project manager for the entire project, which took 3-4 weeks. We are so incredibly pleased with the result, and just as happy with the service and professionalism we received from Steve and his team. Steve managed every aspect of this complex project flawlessly, stopped by frequently to check progress and QC each phase of work, and was consistently responsive and professional. He took my calls on nights and weekends, and I always felt taken care of and valued as an important customer--such a rare occurrence these days. The craftsmanship was flawless too. I am a detail-oriented person and tend to demand perfection, and Forever Builders exceeded my expectations. As a bonus, they also installed a floating vanity for me in a secondary bathroom, as a complimentary part of the project. Since then, I have also asked Steve and Forever Builders to patch up a huge portion of ceiling drywall at my mom's house that was screwed up by another company, and they did an amazing job with that as well. You will not find a more consistently exceptional company. I'm a customer for life.

He was always happy to accommodate any of our requests or feedbacks. We really appreciate his assistance! Our designer team, Ben, Liri and Hodaya, are also great. They came up with beautiful designs for our kitchen and bathrooms based on our preferences. The 3D renders that they made were very helpful in visualizing the designs before we fully committed. They also helped us pick and shop for all materials. Throughout the process, they are very communicative and accommodating. The subcontractors we worked with are all nice and offer good quality work. Dawn did a great job managing and inspecting their work everyday. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience with Davozco, the cabinet vendor. Davozco made so many mistakes with our orders.  Notably they shipped us incorrect cabinet door types and refused to replace unless we pay extra. Some brand new cabinets came in with scratches and dings and therefore needed to be replaced. This added substantial delays to our projects. Forever Builders ultimately decided to stop working with Davozco and took all responsibilities/extra expenses to resolve all issues. In construction especially with a big project like ours, we can't expect that everything will go smoothly. We can tell that Dawn and Forever Builders have always tried their best to make sure we are satisfied with everything. Therefore, I recommend Forever Builders if you are looking for a reliable and professional company for your future remodel needs.

Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.
