I questioned the older man about the price, because the price quoted in the store was much lower than the invoice price he sent me. He then sent me another invoice with a lower price, but still not the price provided in the store, even when taxes are figured into the amount. Overall, I think they try to sell you based on where you live and if they think you can afford more, then they will stick it to you. They bid one room sized 14x17 for engineered wood for cost of wood and installation of over 4 grand, compared to two others that bid both around 2,200 and 2,400 in costs to install and materials. I would highly suggest you comparison shop when dealing with this business. From the old man, I heard you did not take into consideration sales tax and I also heard - prices are going up, especially shipping. I suggest you do the leg work and get several bids and just not do business with this group. Save yourself the time and money both.......

Utterly WOW! I had been running around to every stone warehouse and talking to almost a dozen…read morefabricators over a period of several months, based on Google research and Facebook ads. We had resigned ourselves to pretty basic (ie "UGLY") granite due to our budget. But I drive past this fabricator almost every day near my house, and decided to stop in on a whim to see if they could beat a price that another fabricator had quoted me on a slab I had seen at a warehouse. Isa greeted me cheerily and said she'd do a little research. By the end of the day she had sent me quotes on several slabs, including the one I was interested in. Her quote beat out the other fabricator (and she didn't know the competitor's price!), but she suggested I take a look at another showroom in The Colony called Verona Marble, to see if there was anything there I liked. Pulling up in front of the place, I quickly realized they would have NOTHING in my price range, but I went in anyway, and fell in love with multiple slabs I knew I could never afford. I sent her the ones I liked, and to my shock, one was square in my budget range, and the other 2 I could have pulled off. However, my favorite slab was the one that she quoted within my budget, and that's the one we picked. It's a new type of finish called "iced," which is a combination of the new, trendy "leathered" finish (which offers a coarse, almost pebbly surface) with a final polish that only shines up the larger, highest patches of the stone. It's utterly breathtaking to look at, AND touch. Visually and texturally stunning. Their quote on this slab was lower than quotes for even the basic, cheap slabs I was getting from other contractors, I could not believe it. (The base granite in the slab was an otherwise drab, basic, grey granite you see everywhere, but the finish transforms it into something that looks super high-end and perfectly matched the look in my new kitchen. This is why it was in my price range, the granite itself is cheap, it's the finish that elevates it.) They scheduled measurements/templates for the day after my contractor was supposed to finish installing my cabinets. Unfortunately, he had to come back that morning for a couple of hours to finish, so he was present when Granite Fabricators came to template. This meant I had to reschedule templating for later in the day, incurring an extra fee. (My cabinet contractor's fault.) However, they measured at 2pm, and the countertops were installed THE NEXT DAY. (Keep in mind, this was in January, which is the slowest month for countertop fabricators.) As a chef, not having a kitchen means not having income, so I was SO impressed with this turnaround time. Something to note is that their people showed up early for EVERY appointment at my house, so if you have a 2pm appointment time, please be ready to expect them up to an hour early. As someone who works from home, this was not a big deal for me, but if they had arrived at their stated time (or a bit later, as most contractors do), I might not have had to pay for a reschedule when they showed up while my cabinet guy was finishing up. Overall, I am utterly thrilled by Granite Fabricators of Dallas. Their prices can't be beat, Isa and Elva in the office are super friendly and follow up quickly, and our new countertops have astounded everyone who has seen them. They look ultra-luxe, far beyond what we expected to get with our budget.

It is truly a "mom and pop" company, and they cared for us as individuals, not as just another invoice number. We would definitely consider using their services again. They know their craft, too!

I asked a simple question about a dent that I noticed on the front of my refrigerator after they hammered up my old floor tiles. A dent that I, my husband and parents know was not there the night before because we would have noticed it when we were hanging plastic drop cloths on my kitchen cabinets. I feel as though it was very unprofessional that Carl and Amber went directly to Mario after I showed them a picture of a new dent on the front of my refrigerator and they all discussed the situation without my knowledge. Then, Carl and Mario stood their ground together in front of me as the only woman in the room of my own house, accusing me of lying. I only had an innocent question as to if they had a tool that they use that takes out dents. I was thinking about simple ways to fix an inconvenience, but they jumped from A to Z with their reaction. They acted as though I was demanding a new, $5,000 appliance out of them. Carl even stubbornly talked with me and stiffened his body language and demeanor towards me when I first greeted him on the morning of the next day. He got me so upset with his stubbornness and bully-like approach that I started to raise my voice because he refused to listen to my reasoning. The argumentation became so loud that my husband had to cut his business phone call short in the front room of our house to see what was happening. Plus, Mario was even gone for approximately 30 minutes in the late morning on the first day of work (I have Ring camera videos to prove it), leaving his one worker to take care of the kitchen while he was away. The dent incidental could have even taken place during that time?! The contract stated that they would "take every precaution to protect them [furnishings] from damage." Mario and his worker had a cloth tarp draped over the front of the refrigerator, but not the entire front because there was a portion still exposed and not covered for protection. The exposed part is where the dent is located. I found all of this to be immature and unprofessional that two men would side against me in my presence in my own home and treat me like a second class citizen. I even had to stay away from my house for about a third of the time that they were working in my home because of their unwillingness to listen to me. I also was not crazy about the rubber caulking that Mario filled into the open space that they missed with grout along one section of my cabinets by the floor. When I brought it to Mario's attention that the grout was missing, I thought that he understood that I wanted the grout filled into the space like the rest of the baseboards had, not rubber caulking. I love how my floors turned out. They look great. You can tell that it's artisan craftsmanship. But, I have to tell my story on the internet because they all refused to act civil and talk with me sensibly in my home. So, beware that this company may argue with you on incidentals to your personal belongings.

Another fantastic project with the Wreedone team…read more This time, we hired them to replace the flooring throughout the majority of our house, tearing out older tile and hardwood that had suffered from previous water-cupping damage. I had manually measured close to 1,700 square feet, but Wil and Spencer utilized a mobile tech scanning tool to map both the floors and walls (for a future paint project) in a matter of minutes. It immediately validated my manual measurements and gave us complete confidence in the project's scope. We chose to vacate the house during the heavy demo and installation. Scheduling-wise, Wreedone was exceptionally punctual, hitting every milestone exactly when they said they would. They carefully moved and secured our heavy furniture, treated our property with immense respect, and ensured everything was locked up tight at the end of each workday. I had the chance to meet the tile installer, Daniel, and his crew. Daniel is a true craftsman--he noticed minor pattern differences in the tiles and expertly blended them so the installation looks perfectly seamless throughout the house. A true professional! Spencer also brought some great problem-solving to the baseboards. Because the new floors sat a bit lower, reusing the old baseboards would have left a noticeable paint gap along the walls. Factoring in the labor to patch and paint that gap, it was actually more cost-effective to install brand-new baseboards, which ended up looking even better than the originals. Given the massive amount of demolition dust, the top-to-bottom post-construction cleaning was incredible. Walls, floors, countertops, ceiling fan blades--everything was spotless! I am also incredibly grateful to Justin and Chase for the daily updates and progress photos, as well as their care in quickly moving the large furniture back into place post-cleanup. Wreedone's methodology isn't just about executing a single task; they deliver a complete, holistic package. They managed every aspect of this project to deliver a high-quality result that gave my wife and me exactly what we wanted while protecting our overall investment. Well done!

Shortly after our carpet was installed bunching occurred from not being properly stretched. The owner stated we might have "faulty carpet" which sometimes happens. I contacted the company again to see what they can do since the issues are continuing and received no response. The carpet looks as bad as the 10 year old carpet that was replaced.

I recently had almost all of the flooring in my home replaced. The install was average at best…read more Melissa was awesome. I paid for dustless tile removal which those guys did a great job. I did not however appreciate one of the company men coming by several day later and snooping around my home without announcing himself. He was looking for a lost vacuum. I told him he was welcome to look, which he did, but I didn't have his vacuum. Then for the install crew. Ugh. Keep in mind this all happened between just two guys. To word this as nicely as possible, there is no boundary recognition. At all! It started when I offered them water. They didn't like water. I offered them Gatorade which the first day, they drank 3 to 4 bottles each. They then proceeded to ask me for Gatorade every day after and going so far as to say they "needed it". (I had the distinct feeling they wanted a different type of Gatorade because they asked me numerous times if I liked Gatorade Zero which is what I had.) Not once did I see them bring their own drinks except when they got fast food for lunch. Another day, I saw the one guy was here so I unlocked the door. I hadn't gone 3 feet before I heard the lock click into place. My door has a keypad. The installer had pushed the lock button. It is no where near the handle! They moved my camera modem which I still can't figure out why. It's hidden. They went into my bathroom cabinets (all of them from what I can tell - I know this because the installer told me I could throw away something in one cabinet and an item was used up (then the empty container placed back) in the other.) One asked me what I paid for my new shower. They washed their dirty, caulked hands in my kitchen sink (repeatedly). One asked me if he could buy my grill. Another offered to help me move my bed at any point in the future. And lastly, they sent me for felt pads three different times when, come to find out, they have permission to buy them on the company card! There was one area that was not done well and I asked them to fix it which they did. Every day after, they told me how unlevel my floor was. Well, I didn't build my house so thanks? (I have since found a second area done poorly that I cannot live with...there are a few other areas I'm just gonna deal with.) The most disturbing of all was finding my side garage door unlocked after everything was done. I don't know who unlocked it. But it was unlocked and I never use that door nor should anyone who was here because they wouldn't need to! Basically, I wanted the installers out of my house! The one made me extremely uncomfortable. I did NOT appreciate them snooping in my home/using my things or treating me like their concierge. I have never had an experience like this in my life.
