I would like to start by saying I did buy my flooring here. We spent a good amount. Their floors are reasonably priced and seem decent quality. We have yet to have them installed though. My poor rating is solely based off of customer service from the older lady at the desk. Theres a man and a lady who work here. The man is fine. Avoid the lady at all costs. I had walked in and was speaking to the man when the lady interrupts and starts asking me questions. To which I answered, then I was told I should not be speaking to her and I should be talking to my contractor. She asked me how many sqft my house was, when I responded I did not know because my husband is the one with the information, she threw an actual tantrum. She told me we did not know anything, when she never even let me finish a sentence. I held my tongue during the entire conversation. I would highly discourage anyone from going here based off of my experience with this lady. Purchased a flooring product in 2022 off of the strong recommendation of the sales person. (CONQUEST) Paradigm simulated wood plank.After several months the flooring started to make snap sounds then visually faulty, locking mechanism failure in the high traffic areas. I called the Rancho Cordova store and the salesman (jeff) if I remember got super argumentative with me to the point I asked him if he was the flooring mfg. that answered the phone. Jeff went on to Immediately blame me for 1) not being a licensed contractor 2) not buying transitions from them 3) not setting the floor correctly 4) not installing correctly at doorways. Jeff stated my warranty is VOID ! if any of that applies to me . Never saw the floor never offered to just proceed with my request to contact the manufacturer. Let it be noted I have it on great authority the mfg. of this floor has issues with this floor/locking mechanism and has made adjustments to its design and helped people replace this floor because of defects. I have been coming to these guys on the border of Sacramento and Rancho Cordova for years! While they definitely are the middleman, you still get super inexpensive prices for your flooring and install. I have called around different places from carpet one, empire carpet, RC, Willey, you name it- they can't be beat. Their prices for materials and labor is similar to what you would find if you were to hire a handyman on craigslist except they guarantee their work, and you don't pay the total amount due unless you are totally satisfied. I live in Camino these days, not Sacramento anymore. They are more than happy to come all the way up here which is a good 45 minutes away from their location. You can also catch a lot of really great prices on promotions, new flooring materials, or new companies that they are working with. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache of calling them for Flooring, I think you will find that their bid is cheaper than most, and the quality of the work is excellent. read more

We were sold items that we didn't need, and they would not take them back, even with a restocking fee after only six months. The items were still wrapped in plastic and had not been opened. Every single thing you ask, they say it could void the warranty of the product even something as simple as not having a transition piece from the vinyl to carpeting. That said, the company, especially Danelle Campos in the Modesto corporate office, was awesome to work with. She and her colleague Jess quickly secured my special-order wood in Georgia and had it expedited. Danelle was in constant contact about the status. I bought shower pan tile (and much more) from them. When it came time to install it, I had some questions about how best to make it fit together. I was also missing one of the ten pieces. I went back to ask them about it and was given nothing but attitude. I was told that it wasn't their job to help me with the installation, which I wasn't asking them to do, and that I obviously didn't know what I was doing, and should hire a contractor. I explained that I had installed the same type of tile before, and had no issues, but this pebble tile wasn't going together well. Again, all they had to say was "hire a contractor", and dismissed me. I will never buy anything from them EVER again, and we had already picked out an LVP product we had planned to buy from them for a large portion of our house. read more

Came in here after work mid Wednesday to look at flooring for first floor came in here knowing a little bit leaving knowing so much more. The sales rep that had helped us out was named Kathy and she was super patient with us with our 10 million questions we had, just to make sure that we were getting the right product. We were looking at differences between laminate and vinyl wood flooring and then we also have to learnt the difference between millimeters. There's also a big difference between water resistant and waterproof also be careful that. She's definitely the person to help you out she tell you like it is the pros and the cons and will lead you in the right direction So that you can finish your project however you need. I believe we were here for a total of 2 1/2 hours looking at the different varieties looking at colour differences and ensuring that we liked what we were ordering. If I have any future projects I will deathly be back here I love the customer service and how attentive they are. read more

Terrible customer service! I walked into this location mid-Wednesday hoping to purchase flooring. I waited near the service area for several minutes while someone was assisting a customer. I was ignored by two employees. After a few minutes later, one of those employees finally acknowledged me but insisted on making a phone call in front of me. She told me I needed to wait. I continued to wait. I asked if the other employee could help me but the women on the phone snapped that he wasn't a floor salesperson. The women was extremely rude throughout my entire interaction. Promised an update so last post was 9/17/20 and I Still do not have my tile in. This project started months ago! I won't go into detail again about the bad incident with the install, granite and tiles arriving cracked, the scratchy MESS left by tile person on the brand new granite and installer the rudest person we have ever dealt with. But bottom line is my kitchen Still looks like this because no backsplash. The last 2 weeks I've had messages that the tile is "should be coming any time" and a "it should have landed last week" and that's it. Sigh. I sweated bullets for many weeks, looking for the right luxury vinyl tile. Hallelujah that I found this place and One awesome female store employee,( Who I understand is no longer with them.) She was the first employee, after visiting a dozen other stores, who actually help me in the way I needed to be helped. I didn't even ask for help, but she could see I was having trouble comparing two Large displays that were on opposite sides of the room.so she ran over and took one down, carrying it over to my side so that I could see them both at the same time. What an angel! If you're looking for LVT, learn to compare the wear layer, as it is what will keep your tile looking good for two years or for 20 years! I am a very frugal person, but was thrilled to find that a 20 mil, (Which is a very high wear layer for residential LVT), at flooring liquidators didn't cost much more than The LVTs of 6 or 12 mil at Home Depot! And this will last me so much longer. And the texture is almost like real wood, the color is unlike anything I've ever seen, just beautiful! I sure wish I had looked here first. Too bad they didn't hold onto that amazing employee! But they still have great prices. read more

I narrowed down my search to a couple of tiles and found the best price of one of them at Flooring Liquidators. I called Sharra and she was knowledgeable and helpful. I had a decorator who was using FL. From the get-go, they were hard to work with. My decorator had them look up my account and they couldn't find my account, even after she gave phone number, e-mail. They dissed the decorator to me and so we started working with the manager. She would not return phone calls because it was a rather small job, and yet she tried to defend her actions every time. The "people skills" were lacking. Then the person installing the material charged me $150 for taking out a rug which took them 5 minutes; it was not glued down. I brought this to their attention and they just shrugged, saying, well it usually takes longer because it is glued down. They refused to adjust this. I didn't want to deal with them so didn't make an issue of it. Kathy, Tyler and Don, who installed, all pretty unprofessional. I will say the finished product is fine, but the relationship and rip-off leave me giving the lowest review I can. read more

We went shopping for floors here and found one we liked. We said we would think about it and were told not to worry because they had over 10000 sq feet in stock. When we called to order just a few days later, that answer changed to that they had 95 square feet only because the rest was on a hold, and they won't have more for 2 months. We were told it had been on a hold since before we even viewed the flooring but the associate didn't check that. It's an oversight that really ruined our experience, because now our only options are spend $1.20 more per sq foot for something similar or start all over. read more

He somehow missed measuring the kitchen on the first visit. I even called to follow up, spoke with Frank who was my original salesman. Terrible customer service. Daniel ghosted us after the initial consultation service. We never got that quote he promised us 6 months ago. After multiple failed attempts to reach him ( apparently he was never available) one day we decided to show up to the store where we found him sitting and twiddling his fingers. After our encounter at the store, he told us he would send us a quote when he receives our product choice. We did as told and after 2 weeks still no quote and no communication. Frusturated, we called the store and Kathy started arguing with us when we told her we would leave a bad review. Shortly after Daniel calls to follow up. He again promises to have the quote in a few days, here we are almost another 2 weeks and still no quote. To the owner: this is obviously not an isolated incident you need to retrain your staff on customer service skills or replace them. read more

I went to pick up tiles purchased through South Sac location and when I got there and provided Kathy the reference number provided by their other store, her response was "what am I supposed to do with that?! That's not one of our numbers". Continued to be argumentative and threw her hands on the desk instead of going straight to tell the customer (Me) let me work on figuring this out. Phones were ringing, I was however the only customer and she completely lost her composure and not able to handle phones and one customer! Here comes Robert and he simply calls William at other location, asks for my name and phone number. I start to speak and Kathy rudely interjects and provides info so I zipped it! Robert was frustrated with Kathy's actions and it was obvious! Kept saying give me a minute, because she could not keep her mouth shut. WORST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE EVER! In the end thank you Robert for keeping your cool and figuring out I needed to pick up my tiles at Emser across the street! As for management, I DOUBT I am the only customer who has complained about Kathy! Do something about it! I would be fired if I spoke to anyone at my job like that. Our sales rep. Leota, was extremely helpful and friendly. We had to make two trips on different days to pick up our flooring (2200 sq ft), and she was very patient with us. In fact, she was also patient with my husband's indecisiveness (I wanted to choke him). Her mannerism helped calm me down during the process. Once our flooring was installed downstairs, my husband loved it so much it inspired him to install the flooring in other areas of our house. The color of the flooring we purchased was being discontinued, so there was a limited stick on hand. Leota searched other stores and was able to amazingly gather the additional sq ft'ing we needed. Horrible service, I ordered tile they said 1week I can pick it up. Took almost 2 weeks, and I had to pick it up at another store . Got granite countertops too this place is so un organized. Someone came out to give me an estimate. It took over 4 days to get a dollar amount. Poor service the employees have poor communication with each other.
