We really wanted an open concept and finally demoed a short wall in our dining area. (Face masks are a must if you DIY. Coughs*) Of course, we would then need matching floors. We went to four flooring stores and not only did they not have it, none of the flooring specialist attempted to look up thd brand/make. Keep in mind, there were no labeled brands on our sample piece. Finally, we found Flooring Liquidators! We brought in a sample and Emir immediately knew the type of hardwood and brand! He showed us the online picture and we agreed it was the same brand and make, but it was hard to tell which color was our actual flooring. At $6.99 a square foot, we did not want to get the wrong color. (I didn't realize our flooring was that expensive! *Proud homeowner grin*) He didn't pressure us to buy and told us upfront that special orders are non-refundable. Me and my mother had a great time at this place the staff was very helpful and a very knowledgeable and let us even take samples home to try to figure out what we would like in our rental property we have picked a certain type of vinyl flooring that hopefully that will last for years to come and also picked out a very nice carpet that was reasonably priced as well as the flooring we thank you very much to all staff that works there and very prompt on getting back to us about any questions we had. We were looking to get rid of the old carpet throughout the house that we recently bought. At our other house, we purchased laminate through Lumber Liquidators, so we first went there. This time we couldn't find the color/style that we wanted. So we searched every flooring store in the area and hadn't found anything that we liked within our price range until I finally happened to see an orange truck going down Hwy 50. I had never heard of Flooring Liquidators, but I figured we'd better give it a shot. The first night we dropped in was right before they were supposed to close. Complete with two screaming, maniacal kids we stopped in to see what they had. First thing that we noticed was that they had a little area for kids to go a play!!! After that, we found a laminate that matched what we were looking for. Took a sample to see how it looked at home. The next day we came back to look again and realized that the sale was going to end the next day, but we weren't ready to install for a few weeks. They let us put down a deposit and held the product and the price for us. In my experience, dealing with a weird situation never leads to things going well. But this went really smooth. We never had any issues with the deposit, the price, the pick up or anything. All of the employees were on the same page and very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a few questions about installing and they knew exactly what to do. I installed the laminate myself, so I cannot comment on their installation process, but we had a fantastic experience at this store. They were helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. The product is as good or better than similarly priced products that we saw at all of the other flooring stores. I have, and will continue to recommend Flooring Liquidators to anybody that tells me they are thinking about doing their floors. The contractor that was referred to me through this company didn't use enough glue therefore the laminate that me laid down start coming up in one section only after it being installed one month. I have called the store to complain several times so they would send the contractor back to repair the floor and have yet to have the contractor return. Now I am force to have to find someone else to come out and repair what the contractor "through Flooring Liquidators store" has screwed up on. I plan to take this company to small claims court which I'm sure I will win and get reimburse all the money I spent on having my floor installed. The contractor also told me he could repair my door knob which he took with him, and to this day I still have no door knob on my front door which again I am force to hire a locksmith to come out and repair. Please if you want quality service don't use the Rancho Cordova store unless you have your own reliable contractor. read more

DON'T Believe the hype. This place wheels and deals and they WILL get you on the either increasing the cost on the carpet or on the installation. Initially they beat the quote I had on my carpet and I was only going in to get tile. The owner personally gave me a great price but then the sales people got involved. I ended up deciding to paint my house first and the sales gal said o.k. great let us know when you're ready to install it. Now they have avoided my emails, put me on hold for 10-20 minutes "saying she is asking the manager". Then today I said your on hold message is contradicting your own quote which is to beat quotes. Then she put me on hold again and when she got back on the line she almost started crying and said "I don't know what you want me to say" I said I would like to talk to the owner and she refused, said she would tell her Manger and hung up on me. So the new quote per her is $900 more expensive but the install fees are free and so are my stairs. Huh, doesn't that mean I should be getting it cheaper since installation is cheaper? She still hasn't sent the new higher quote and I haven't received a call from anyone. Oh if anyone cares the current hoax is 110% back plus a bottle of champagne if you find a better deal. Looks like they owe my a bottle of champagne on their own quote!! On a side note the owner was exceptionally humble and wanting to work with me. Not too sure why he has the sales people and Manager he has when they don't follow his business strategy. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! We had laminate flooring installed in our kitchen and dining room, and carpet in the adjoining family room by another company. When our three dogs made it necessary to remove the carpet and replace it with laminate, we went back to the original store but was told that particular flooring had been discontinued and there wasn't any left in stock. I was unable to find anything I thought would match. Later we found we had a box of planks left over from that store so we took two planks to Flooring Liquidators to see about matching the flooring. My first red alert was when we walked around the store for at least 30 minutes and no one offered to help us. We finally went to the counter and after waiting a while longer, was finally offered help by Tyler, the store manager. She walked the store with us and we decided on a laminate that was the closest match and made arrangements for someone to come out and measure the area. The gentleman arrived and did the measurements. Red alert #2. We waited about three weeks without hearing back on the estimate so I called Tyler. She was unavailable and I left a message for her to call me. It was some time later and I explained we were still waiting for the estimate. She said she couldn't find it but would research it and call me back. Red alert #3. We waited several more days and my husband had to call her again. Again, she said she couldn't find our estimate or the name of the flooring we had chosen, but would check again and call back in 15 minutes. Red alert #4. About two hours later she finally calls and said she couldn't find anything. I told her I would go somewhere else, to which she replied,"ok". I hung up. read more

Five stars for the excellent customer service I received here recently. We had purchased flooring do redo our entire home approximately 6 months ago. When we got around to laying the flooring we found we were 6 boxes short. Customer service rep William was a big help. I had called every store nearby trying to get a hold of just 6 boxes of flooring and was told it would be at least a week to have them special ordered. William spent a day scouring the inventory of every surrounding store, scraped up 6 boxes for me, and had them at my closest store a day later. The floors are in, look great, and the contractor doesn't have to return to finish the job a week later. Thank you, William. read more

I bought laminate from this company two months ago. After 3 weeks awaiting their phone call regarding arrival of our laminate shipment, we called and found out that they had decided to no longer order the laminate we had paid for because they didn't want to carry it in stock. They gave us the option of getting our money back or picking a different laminate. They made us call the distribution center to clarify whether an order would be made. The distribution center was helpful and stated a shipment would be made. After two weeks of waiting for their phone call indicating that the laminate had arrived, we called to inquire about the shipment. They stated that it had been there for a while and were upset with us that we did not know it had arrived. We never received a phone call. I picked up the laminate in 105 degree heat and had to do the lifting myself. When installing the floor, which turned out beautiful (due to the work by Valley Forge and not Flooring Liquidators), we discovered that there was insufficient T-molding despite accurate measurements and their confirming the measurements at time of purchase. We informed them of the issue regarding the T-molding and they ordered us an extra board. We were told our T-molding would arrive today around 10 am. My wife called to ask if the shipment had arrived and my wife was spoken to very disrespectfully... To the point where I should not go to the store with her to pick it up because my patience is running out. This has been very disappointing. They've turned what was going to be a rewarding home project into a frustrating experience. I've never been treated so poorly by a company from whom I have made a purchase. I hope people read this before making a purchase with this company. The customer service is terrible. The staff we had the displeasure of speaking with has been disrespectful, childish, untrustworthy, lazy and downright stupid. The only decent person dealt with was a young woman Stephanie. My father is a general contractor and does a lot of custom work throughout Solano, Contra Costa, Napa and Yolo counties. He has a very large network of contractors in the Bay Area and Sacramento areas. He helped us with the flooring and has made it clear that he will never consider using this company and will recommend against using this company to his peers. Negative stars. read more

We are very happy to have found this place. We visited several warehouses, stores etc and found that these had the largest selection of laminate flooring for our budget. The bigger hardware stores had similar quality (good) at a much higher price so we stuck with FL. The entire experience felt hassle free. While other stores ask you to leave a name and number if you want samples (others even charged) these folks did not- you can simply take what you need. They were friendly, explained their policy and process and that was that. If you order from the Sacramento area and flooring etc (t molds, reducers, padding) is not in stock, it will arrive the very next day! We were on a time crunch so we really appreciated the speedy turnaround time. Another store we visited basically said FL sold reject/overstocked flooring so we should be weary of the quality. We didn't find any issue with the quality at all. My dad installed the floor and he said he had no issues. Finally, the return of overage material went very smoothly as well! Their policy is 20% restocking fee for returns, and 15% for return of overages (boxes must be unopened and in resealable condition) . We understood that prior to purchasing and had no problem when returning our overage. Now our floor looks great, it's the color we wanted, and we didn't have to pay the higher unaffordable price! FL also has tile and carpet. If we ever need more supplies we will not hesitate to come back :) read more
