It's one of the most beautiful bars I've been to, both of us thought I wish there was one near me! The staff was welcoming and attentive. The French fries were the perfect amount of salt to go with our drinks which were tasty and fun to drink. Would definitely go again.

Edgar was a fabulous and attentive bartender. I got the same cocktail as last time- the tuculo- which is like a smoky banana Negroni. Really enjoy this place and highly recommend.

Great date spot!! We came here before dinner at Porzana, loved the dimly lit bar. Service is very polite and offered many recommendations. We got the fries as a snack and they were really good, served with ketchup and mayo. Will definitely be back!!

Went on a Wednesday after dinner and it was surprisingly busy! There is valet parking, which helps a lot I loved the moody greenery (dark green walls, floral prints). Our booth was comfortable and felt cozy. We had some snacks and drinks. The fries came out pipping hot (burned my fingers) and we ordered extra sauce for the second round because they were delicious. I also really liked the empanadas- they were filling with a nice amount of sauce. Two of our group also enjoyed they oysters (with optional add-on caviar). The bartender was able to customize my espresso martini to my taste (I like it creamy- I know, controversial). I will definitely be going back!

This is a dark, fun cocktail bar, with lots of cool drink options and knowledgeable bartenders! I was looking for a drink that was less sweet before dinner, and the bartender let me know that their menu tended towards sweeter drinks, but was able to help me pick out some good options. A bit pricey, but worth it for the ambiance and energy along with the drinks! Some food here as well, coming from Porzana's kitchen. Definitely recommended to stop by!

My wife and I went for a date night and saddled up to the bar. We sampled the empanadas (great), burrata (best I've ever had), and fries (best my wife ever had). For drinks, we tried the Mai tai (super good, super strong), the São Paulo Girl (perfect), the old fashioned (exactly what you want), the fresa hi-ball (great- gone too quick), the evita (yum), and the Singapore slinger (hell yeah). Will the bartender ruled. We told him we were hosting a Devil Wears Prada 2 watch party and needed a cerulean blue cocktail. We asked him what he would do, he told us and showed us the bottles he would use. Then at the end of the night, he surprised us with a cerulean blue margarita which was such a cool move and really created a memorable moment. Shout out to Will! You're the man!

The vibe of this place gave casual yet elegant. It was very speakeasy-esque. The food came from Porzana and was tasty. It was more little bites than full entrees. The drinks were great and the service was good! Definitely a place to hang with your friends and splurge a little!

This place has vibes! Swooped in with a decent size group (8) on a Saturday night so we had a bit of a wait, to be expected, but the host was super cool and got us squared away in fair time. This was my first trip and the space is small ish? Solid space for small groups, we definitely stretched the limits but they made it happen for us. The vibes are dark and moody, think, greenhouse at night with candlelights. Drinks were north loop pricing ($15-18) and all well crafted. I'd definitely recommend checking out and plan to go back. Our server was also super attentive. This place strikes like a great date night spot or chill night out with the crew.

Located where the old Marvel Bar used to be. You'll need ID to enter, 21+. It's very dim inside so don't count on too many photo ops. Unless of course you intend to use additional lighting. That said, viewing the menu was quite the challenge, but the the server must have noticed me using my flash and brought over a little lamp which was helpful. Other than that he did seem rather standoffish, but that didn't damper things for my friend and I who enjoyed ourselves. We both got the burger which was good, but eventually began falling apart due to the sauciness. To avoid that, just cut yours in half (which I should have done). To drink I got the Tuco Tuco which was very delicious, not super strong, nor overly sweet. I would get again! She got the Old Fashioned which I typically don't like due to how strong it can be. However, theirs wasn't; it was good. It's not cheap place, and the menu isn't extensive for a full meal. However, it's cool bar to visit for a drink or two before a night out, or to take someone when you want to feel hip and swanky. It's a bit loud, so be prepared to talk loud, or if you're on a date cozy up real close.

Drinks are good and the vibes are nice, but I wish they had a rotating cocktail menu or more speciality drink to choose from

The atmosphere is super cool, the cocktails feature more complex liqueurs and mixers. Our drinks were okay, I prefer a simpler cocktail so I asked for something that wasn't featured on their menu. They didn't have fruit so they substituted with a liqueur which didn't work well. Our server was attentive with filling waters and such but didn't share much menu or recommendation wise. I'd go back but definitely stick to the menu. We came after dinner so we didn't get any food but I'm sure the food is incredible since it comes from upstairs at Porzana.

Amazing crafted drinks with good flavor. Dark lit tables and bar seating for an intimate evening.

Such a cute spot underneath Porzana! I love the vibes and the music is the perfect volume - not too loud, which makes it easy to hear whomever you're talking to. The espresso martini may actually be the best I've had yet! It was delightfully sweet, but not overly sweet. Bar staff is really nice and the booths are so comfy. Seating is first come, first served so my group of 6 did have to wait a while to get a booth, but such a fun space. Will be back for sure!

Dimly lit would be generous; it's damn near a full blackout. But drinks were amazing. Certainly not cookie cutter. Very unique.

Does the Flora Room take reservations? I am thinking about coming there on a Saturday night and made 9:30 PM dinner reservations, but I'm worried about not being able to get into the bar at 9 o'clock.

They do not. It's first come first served.

One of my friends went with the ranch fries which were good, but in my opinion it was not worth the $2 upcharge for the amount of seasoning that comes on them. I would recommend sticking with the regular fries and ordering a side of ranch as a dipping sauce instead! This is the only place that I'm aware of where you can get a vegan juicy lucy! It is very cheesy, and it's fun that there's a meatless version of a MN classic! It was messy to eat though so make sure to have a napkin nearby! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and would go back! It seemed a little loud though, even though the restaurant wasn't close to Full. There was some confusion with us originally getting the wrong menu but after it was all sorted out, seemed like a good selection! A couple of us got there a little earlier than the others and ordered cocktails - right from the beginning the service seemed a little slow. Our cocktails took a minute, and then it took even longer for them to take the orders for the other gals. We got a couple of shareable that were all great and ordered our meal . But again, everything seemed very slow. It took forever for us to get our food - we were nervous. We were going to be late for our show that was just a few minutes down the road because our main courses took so long. I had the Luna burger and it was decent a little dry, but it had good toppings on it. Everyone seemed pretty pleased with their food overall it's just a shame that the dinner experience took so long. I also found the prices were a little high for the quality of food you were actually getting. I wouldn't tell somebody to never go there, but I would tell them to prepare for a wait jic it was always like that.

Upon entering we were greeted by a woman who was clearly wearing multiple hats as she seemed rushed, a bit off putting and quite frankly distracted. It was Juneteenth the middle of the afternoon and there were maybe 6 people at the bar and one other table besides ours with 2 diners. The person seating us was also our server and the bartender. Menu is small but the items we ordered were all fabulous! Every single one! The collard green dip with cornbread pita chips was absolutely delicious - Think spinach artichoke dip but soul food! The salmon croquettes with lemon herb aioli and arugula salad that accompanied were fresh and light! The catfish sandwich with fries was hot, crispy and well seasoned with fresh lettuce and tomato on a perfectly tender brioche bun. I want to return so bad for the food but it was clear this host, server, bartender and partial cook was pulled in too many directions and that severely compromised our service and gave us stand off energy as first time patrons. I looked it up and she is actually one of the owners. She came across as irritated especially once we didn't order any alcoholic drinks first and then very short and curt following. What took the cake was her telling us she was leaving for the day and needed to close our tab while we were eating. Didn't ask did we want to order anything else and there was another server taking her place and an empty restaurant! My partner had to put his sandwich down wipe his hands pull out his wallet while she stood there impatiently. Then proceeded to linger around hugging her regular bar patrons. It was clear this is a "regulars" spot and if you're not one you're rolling the dice on the service you may or may not get. We were patient and didn't complain because it was Juneteenth and our intention to support black restaurants all weekend. I have many previous years in the industry as a cook, host and GM and I was stunned to know that she was one of the owners when I looked it up. Had planned to return for live music but unfortunately the off putting energy and unwelcoming vibe may have squashed that possibility. I hope they improve service because the food is delicious and deserves attention from a larger and more sophisticated audience.

This makes the burger really chewy and you really can't taste the beef anymore like you used to when it was thicker. I would take this as it's not as good as it used to be. It is not as good as the original hype from the beginning. In conclusion, I do not think it's worth the $19. I rather get a cheesesteak for $16 at Tono's which comes with fresh not burnt fries rather than come back here and get a burger here. It's highly unlikely I will be back here. I honestly feel like the burgers have gone way WAY downhill. The fries here have gotten terrible so I stopped getting the fries a long time ago. They are not soft crisp like they used to be. They are too golden brown color, almost like burnt hard fries. I never like to eat down here. I normally would order the Parlour burger upstairs.
