We found Floral Elegance on a wedding website in December 2010 and after much research, we decided to go with them for our wedding because of their beautiful arrangements and good reviews. Our wedding was not for a while, but we felt it was necessary to book our date: 9-10-11. I emailed Adriana about our interest and she responded quickly. She asked us what we were looking for and for our budget. She then proceeded to email me with what she proposed we could do for our budget and she set up an appointment for me and my fiance to go into their store. Upon arrival at the shop, we were met by a male assistant that informed us that Adriana would not be available because she was meeting with another bride (she said she would personally be meeting with us). Adriana's husband seemed to feel bad that we were not able to meet with Adriana, so he tryed to intercept our questions, but only made things harder for us. The assistant had no clue what we were working on with Adriana and pushed his own ideas on us. Everytime we would try to give him an idea of what we wanted, he persuaded us against it. Due to HIS flower choices for us, it caused our proposal price to go up $1000 (we did not discover this price difference until 2 weeks later when they emailed us)!!! They were unable to provide us with vases to our liking (which they insisted on purchasing for us-to add to our price), so we told them not to include it in our pricing. After several emails back and forth (over a 4 month time period) we became very frustrated and decided to wait a little while to decide on the flowers (since we had put $ down to secure our date and had time). It would take at least a week for a response, up to 3 weeks on one occasion. After still not having a signed proposal or agreed upon flowers, Adriana emailed me and requested us to pay a 50% deposit. WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT FLOWERS/VASES OR ARRANGEMENTS WE NEEDED, but they were still asking for money. Now after some hardships, we are unable to shell out $3300 in flowers, and have decided to use that money some where else that might be more useful. We emailed Adriana to see if we could use the $150 deposit we put down towards a bouquet for myself (so I can still have a beautiful bouquet) and she responded: "I am sorry we cannot use the deposit on a cancelled wedding contract for 1 floral bouquet. You are basically cancelling the contract and want to use the $150.00 on one item. The $150.00 is part of the time spent on putting everything together and research for ideas done especially for your wedding . I hope you understand." Really?!?!? We never even saw this lady and her ASSISTANT met with us once for 1 hour, sent maybe 4 emails and they can't give us flowers for the money we spent? I think that is very rude considering the service we received. Floral Elegance is obviously a retailer that has to overprice their flowers for the retail space they pay for and refuse to honor money when it is put down for services. I was excited to have them cater our wedding, but I feel that because we weren't willing to pay more than $3,000 for flowers they are not going to accomodate us as well as the up-scale weddings in Stone Oak that they cater to. read more

Let me start by saying I have never given 5 stars bc there is ALWAYS room for improvement....I called Floral Elegance bc they are my neighborhood florist and bc I have received an arrangement sent by them and it was beautiful. The owner, Adrianna answered my call and listen to my plead for help. It was Saturday morning, I had an event in a few hours and the flower arrangement I had looked hideous. Adrianna said she was not at the shop but would call/meet me at a specific time. Not only did she call and meet me, she arranged a beautiful arrangement. My next issue was I needed to take fresh flowers to my baker to add them to a cake. I was SUPER overwhelmed and did not know what colors to put together. We took me into her walking cooler and walked me through picking out the absolute perfect colors and flowers. The reason I am giving her ***** is bc while we were at the shop she explained she was dealing w/a serious family medical issue and took the time to meet me. She went above and beyond to help me and I will forever be her customer and will tell all my friends and family to do the same. I was very disappointed and unhappy with the service of Floral Elegance. I ordered a spray of flowers arrangement for a relatives funeral, little did I know that my flowers were not going to be delivered. When I attended the funeral I noticed that the flowers that I had order for the funeral home were not there!!? I text the owner and asked her where are my flowers, her response was "Did I have a delivery today so sorry it be there ASAP. She did deliver but a little late!! I was very upset that she had not taken the time to complete my order. It's her business to be on top of things? I didn't feel she was very sympathetic towards her forgetfulness and her apology was unacceptable. The Spray she delivered was a bit short on flowers for what I paid. She could have offered some kind of refund or more flowers. I do not recommend this place, this will be the last time I order flowers from Floral Elegance! read more

I had an appointment scheduled with Adrianna after informing her that I was visiting from out of state. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was met by an assistant who stated that Adrianna was not in. I provided her with a printed copy of my appointment confirmation after which proceeded to call Adrianna directly. After overhearing part of the conversation with the assistant, Adrianna instructed her to "..just deal with [us] " and wait about 1/2 hr for an assistant to arrive. They stated that they had no record of the appointment, even after they confirmed via email. Needless to say, I wont ever be using or recommending Floral Elegance. read more

I received great customer service from Floral Elegance. I called in the late afternoon from Los Angeles to have flowers delivered to my cousin in San Antonio who just had a baby. We ordered the flowers for my daughter's wedding from Floral Elegance. Addriana gave us beautiful arrangements for both the rehearsal dinner venue and the wedding venue. She worked with some lanterns we purchased and created lovely centerpieces. The bridal bouquet was perfect. The chuppah she put together was lovely. I believe this store has moved to 434 N Loop 1604 W. On their website, www.safloralelegance.com, they offer free delivery to Porter Loring. We requested the free delivery when we placed the order. The invoice that was emailed to us still showed the delivery charge. We called them about the erroneous charge but they did not refund the delivery fee. This establishment is dishonest. I would not order from them in the future. read more

I order flowers for my brother and his wife every year for Christmas. Talking with Adrianna has become part of my Christmas tradition. The flowers are always beautiful, my sister-in-law tells me that they last very well, and we've always been very satisfied. read more
