The other quack Dr Massaro the traveling vet fleeced me out of several hundred dollars, practically called me nuts, and failed to do a simple tick test to check for tick diseases, and that was the problem. Avoid them both and take your pets in to be cared for.

I felt like the veterinarian that we saw was a little patronizing and subscribed to some old-fashioned (and outdated) theories of animal behavior and training which I don't personally agree with. Additionally, I felt like the medical care provided for the ear infection was lacking - they barely checked my dog's ears and didn't attempt to do any sort of cleaning of the ears, nor did they instruct me to clean out my dog's ears to remove accumulated wax and debris (something a prior vet had said we should do). All said, I felt like the health care provided was ok, but the bedside manner left a little to be desired, and I didn't feel very confident that the vet had stayed up-to-date on evidence-based behavioral practices for dogs.

From the beginning, the staff, front desk and her technicians, have been kind and helpful. Dr. Owen has bed side manners that most veterinarians do not have (I speak from working in the field for 13 years). Her kindness and empathy in hard situations is very appreciated. While I have only had one visit with Dr. Carrington, he displayed the same outstanding characteristics as Dr. Owen and the rest of the staff. There is a male technician my animals and I usually have. I am not sure what his name is but he is always amazing with my pets and with me as well. It is family owned which is an anomaly now-a-days. The cost of the services are reasonable. I drive half an hour to bring my pets there, not just because it is cost effective, but because the overall experience, especially during the times we all dread, are nothing short of amazing.

Prior to visits, she would always call to ask clarifying questions which showed she was truly invested in providing quality care. She very much put our mind at ease. For fair rates she came for daily visits, cleaned the litter box, refreshed food and water, and brushed and loved on our fur baby. Laura also took notes of her visits and left them for us to review, all of which were peppered with endearing anecdotes of her time. I have no doubt she provides the same exemplary service for dogs, too. I would recommend Laura to anyone.
