had them do a diagnostic on my work van. Once I denied the repair for 1800 bucks to do a tuneup. They left the entire inside of my van, not put together with parts laying around and nothing put back in its place. I would never go back or recommend these people. Pictures are on Google. read more

They charge you 6x the cost of parts that you dont even need. Miller is rude, and unprofessional. I used a Innova OBD2 Code Reader that I got from AutoZone and found out I had a coil misfiring in cylinder 4. I had all 4 coils and 4 sparkplugs replaced one year ago. They quoted me at $760 for the repair This is completely absurd. I asked for the price break down, and $250 of that was the labor. If you don't know about cars you may accept this but I do know about cars. I purchased a single coil for $15 bucks and did the work myself. It fixed the problem and I've since put 300 miles on the car. Before getting my car back, I told Miller the price was ridiculous and I was going to look for alternatives. Miller called back an hour later and said he was able to "find some parts" and then they quoted us at $550. Still outrageous, and the fact that they are seemingly able to lower the price on a whim proves that they are overcharging in the first place. After talking over the phone with Miller, I told him I would be doing the work myself because they are ripping people off. He proceeded to argue with me and became defensive about me calling them out. He then told me I would have to pay a DIAGNOSTIC FEE. This was news to me. In the 5 phone calls I had, and in person when I dropped the car off, never did anyone mention a diagnostic fee. I told them I had already ran a diagnostic myself and had told them exactly what the problem was. There was no need for them to run a diagnostic. They tried to charge us for the diagnostic by telling me "We have a sign on our wall that says there is a diagnostic fee". This is an illegal attempt to strongarm your money into their wallet. I told them I will not be paying it. If they had verbally explained that there was a diagnostic fee in any of our previous calls, or in person, or written, I would have clarified (again) that I had already ran the diagnostic myself and knew exactly what the issue was. It is completely absurd to expect your customers to be looking around your facility for signs about hidden fees to begin with. Miller was very rude and told me to never come back after I refused the unnecessary diagnostic fee. I did not pay the diagnostic fee and I did get my keys back. Please know what you are getting yourself into by allowing Florida Auto Repair to work on your property. If you must get labor here because you are unable to do it yourself, ask them for the parts you need so you can order them yourselves. Autozone usually has them on hand immediately, or can get them same day, and they are just around the corner. If they refuse to tell you the parts you need or give you the run around they are attempting to scam you. Buy yourself a car tester. They are easy to use (plug in near dash) and give you a code that tells you exactly what is wrong. Autozone will get you the right one for your vehicle and they run $30. Protect your money. Car mechanic shops (most of them) will rob you if you allow them to. read more

I brought my car here around the beginning on April. They gave me a ridiculous price so I decided to buy the parts online, one of the parts was good to use and the other wasn't. So I told them we would pay the price for that part and the labor to repair it. After waiting 3/4 weeks they tell me they can't do anything. Richard was very helpful and I appreciated his help. But a guy named miller gave me the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Thanks miller for making the experience even worse and for not helping us at all. read more

I've been to many shops in the Orlando area trying to find the most reliable shop and I finally found it! Miller and his guys are amazing. I can always rely on them for a good deal and for them to communicate what is going with my vehicle. I've dropped my car off to get work on and Miller will call right away with updates about the work that needs to be done.
