We tried Angry Chair when a friend of ours was hosting a birthday get-together there. We live in the neighborhood so thought it was finally a great opportunity to try them out! We looked at the menu before arriving and online there was mention of a daily happy hour. Upon attempting to order, we asked about happy hour and were told that they don't have that? But they were doing Oktoberfest so we could order from that special menu. In general, we really enjoy lagers, wheat beers, stouts, sours, and goses so we ordered accordingly. I wish I could remember the beers we ordered but we ordered at least 4 different beers. 1 sour, 1 stout, 1 lager, and 1 wheat beer. The sours and the stouts were essentially candy. They were entirely way too sweet. I was so thankful we ordered the little 5 oz size to taste test. We couldn't find one beer that we enjoyed but others seemed to enjoy some of the IPAs. We, unfortunately, do not like IPAs so maybe this isn't the brewery for us? I would like to come back to try some of their new beers since it seems like they rotate quite a bit. I would just like to try them first before paying for something I don't enjoy. As for food!!!!! They killed it. Both my wife and I said we would 100% return for the food alone. We ordered the cheese curds and the wings, tossed in Honey Old Bay. Both were SPOT ON!! Crispy wings in delicious sauce and the curds were exactly as they should be; crispy and niiiice and stretchy. YUM! Others in our group ordered the burgers and really enjoyed them as well. Overall, I wouldn't come if I was craving beer but I would definitely return if I was craving some tasty snacks.

This was our first visit to Angry Chairs', current location, it's a lot larger than the previous space & features a great kitchen menu. Staff was friendly and attentive, and it was great to chat with Ryan about some of our breweries back home in Fort Lauderdale. We shared the Simple Smashburger w/ Fries, which came with house-made garlic mayo and onion jam. The Florida Native hazy DIPA was really great, & we'd hoped to try the Barrel-Aged Wilfred Stout but it kicked before we were able to. Luckily, Cinna-Fred was still available & was the same beer with cinnamon added. Their barrels are can't-miss! We'll definitely be back on our next visit.

I recently visited Angry Chair Brewing with a friend who was visiting from out of state. He is a huge fan of Angry Chair so this was high on his list of places to visit while he was here. I'm not a huge beer fan, but I did try a few sips of the stouts he ordered. My friend absolutely loved them, but I found them way too sweet for my taste. With that said, the food was the star of the show for me. We had the Tuna Nachos and they were amazing!! The wonton crisps were so light, crispy and delicate that you had to be gentle when picking them up, and the tuna was super fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back for the nachos and I'm excited to try some of the other dishes. Even if you are not a beer fan, this place is worth a visit for the food.

I stopped by Angry Chair Brewing and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The watermelon cider is insanely good. I liked it so much that I grabbed some to serve at a party at my house, and it was a total hit with everyone. The food is just as impressive. The nachos are massive and perfect for sharing, loaded with toppings and full of flavor. On top of all that, the service really stood out. Josh was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and took the time to chat and make great recommendations, which made the experience even better. This place nails it with drinks, food, and vibes.

We were in town for my birthday and was searching for some great breweries, as we do when we visit other towns. Found Angry Chair and after seeing the beers on tap and menu items... decided to come here one night! Walking in, the outside signage was awesome! Inside, there was a lot of tables and a great bar. We were a party of 6 and a baby, so we sat inside a semi-private room that had a long table in the center so it was very comfortable. You have to go up to the bar to order drinks and food, and they give you a number for the table - so they can bring your food out. All the beers we had were great! Food was REALLY good. Finding a great brewery with good food... amazing find! Recommendations: Angry Shrimp and Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls (not pictured). SO good! The smash burger was a really good too! Everyone was friendly, music was awesome - overall a really great night! Will definitely come back when we are in town!

Here for beer and atmosphere - amazing time. Delicious hazy IPAs. The food was incredible too. Omg we had the best burger in Tampa bay. The Diablo smash burger was incredible- absolutely perfect. The fries were also delicious. Service was good. Highly recommend this place for beer, burgers and atmosphere!

I have to give it to Angry Chair as the best brewery in the Tampa Bay area. If you love good beer and good food, this is the place for you. There is open table seating and bar seating. The bar is almost always full after 5pm. Tampa Bay has a lot of competition between breweries, but Angry Chair stands out amongst the best. The food is always on point. I could order any item on the menu and know it's going to be great. The menu does change and is always exciting. Please bring back the "Tampa Native." Beer connoisseurs, look no further, this is the best brewery in Tampa. Some of the best IPAs and stouts come from Angry Chair. Overall, this is the place to go for great beer and food. Even if you're not interested in beer, you will be amazed by the quality of the food.

On my way home from Tampa Downtown, I decided to make a stop at Angry Chair Brewing for a beer. Parking was ample, and I easily found a good spot right in front of the brewery. As I walked in, I loved the lively atmosphere, with people enjoying their drinks and even a party being hosted inside. At the bar, I was greeted by a friendly server who helped me choose my drink. After discussing the options, I went with a Lager and also ordered Chicken Wings to go. The cold beer was perfect for the hot weather, and I took a moment to enjoy it before heading home. Once home, we had the Chicken Wings, which were well-cooked, flavorful, and paired with sauce. Angry Chair Brewing was a solid stop, and I loved my beer plus food.

You had me at Nachos and Brewery! I knew from the outside that I would love it! We went for dinner and a beer (or two) on a Saturday night. It was crowded but we had no problem finding a table. I ordered a lager (or two) and was really happy with it. I split one of the specials which was a Shaved Ribeye Flatbread with mozzarella, ricotta, cherry pepper, balsamic glaze, and fried jalapeño crumbs. We also split the Chicken Tinga Nachos. WHAT GREAT FOOD!

Every time i'm in Tampa, I make sure to stop by here. They make some damn good BA Stouts, and there is almost always at least 1-2 on the draft board. I do miss their old small space, but having the larger space is much better since they do get crowded. Employees are always friendly, and the food from the kitchen is way above average. Easily worth stopping in if you're in the area.

In town and trying out some local breweries. Scale: 1-5 Beer: 5 - I had a double IPA hazy that was tasty. Lots of stouts on the menu that I need to return and try. I saw some ladies drinking a bright pink strawberry beer that looked good. Atmosphere: 4 - clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Service: 5 - Staff knew their stuff and gave quick, solid recommendations. Food: N/A - Menu of burgers looked solid but I didn't try them. Cultural/Political Agenda (1-5): 5 - Zero virtue signaling. No flags, slogans, or preachy nonsense--just beer, as it should be.

Ask the Community - Angry Chair Brewing

    Do they serve ciders?

They generally have some non-beer options. You can see the current menu on their site https://angrychairbrewing.com/location/taproom/#on-tap

    Are they dog friendly?

Not sure, but usually when there is a kitchen (which Angry Chair has) there's health code restrictions to service animals only inside.

Do you have to go beer that is canned or bottled that will last over a week? I'll be there for a trip and in Tampa the first day so I wanted to pick some up to take home after my week in Florida. Thanks!

They do have both cans and bottles for purchase/to-go. We got some gems on our recent visit!

Are they on vacation this week? Tried calling no answer!!

I see nothing that says they are closed, the Facebook page has been active this week. They do not open until 4 on most weekdays, and are closed on Monday. Go visit, if you like beer you will love this place.… Read more

We chose to sit in the inside bar because there was air-conditioning. The warehouse area gets a little hot and stuffy, but on nice nights or on cooler days they have tons of outdoor seating as well. We both tried their barrel aged to vanilla Porter. It it was very good, but we both did not want something that heavy to drink. My husband ended up switching to the Marzen which was their Oktoberfest beer. I enjoyed a glass of the chocolate strawberry stout, which is just as delicious as it sounds! Because it is heavy, I could only do one glass and then switched and got a flight of cider and seltzers. I was able to try the pineapple, dole whip vodka soda, which was very tasty. I also tried their rosé cider as well as their dry Irish cider, and their apple strudel cider. All of them were delicious and their rosé cider is probably one of the first that actually tasted like rosé. We also decided to get a little flatbread pizza to snack on. It definitely is small think of a child's size pizza but the flavor was good.

It is a large, open space with a great stage, a solid dance floor, and plenty of room to spread out. The drink selection is also strong, so it is an easy place to hang out for a while. That said, there are a couple areas that could really use improvement. The biggest issue is the bathroom situation. Even with all the space, there are only two stalls and a couple of porta potties, which leads to long lines that can take over a huge part of the venue during busy times. It gets pretty chaotic. The food is another weak point. It is very basic and a bit underwhelming. Think overcooked beef or chicken tacos with generic chips and salsa. It gets the job done, but it definitely does not match the overall vibe of the place. If they put a little more effort into the bathrooms and food, this spot would be on another level.
