2/5 Stars... Nor Surprised: My neighbor had their windows replaced and said that the process went well. Even though the people who showed up and installed the windows on the property arrived in an unmarked beat-up truck and trailer, they had no matching clothes or insignias, and seemed to be very unprofessional by their appearance, they complete the job in a couple days. So I called to make an appointment with them to quote me on replacing a large window. I figured, they might give a discount or a reference to my neighbor since I'm calling. The guy seemed nice on the phone but wouldn't send someone out to the property unless my wife was here at the same time. I work from home, she doesn't. Her schedule is also very erratic, so I could schedule something at any future point and her chances of making that appointment are still very low. I asked how that makes a difference, and he said its policy. I said that her being at the property has nothing to do with quoting a job. I'm the one who does the work on the house and makes the decisions on remodels etc. His reply was: "I can see here on the property information that your name is not on the title of the home, and we would need the homeowner to be there" implying I have no power in the situation. The way my wife and I vest title on our several properties has nothing to do with receiving a window replacement quote. That comment blew me away with disrespect. I even questioned his response and he doubled down. repeating it again. I told him I'm not negotiating to hire them to work on my house. And I'm not making any decisions without a second quote anyway. His Reply: "That's fine, you have a right to feel that way. I'm not sending anyone out." This company regularly attempts to solicit in neighborhoods with posted no soliciting signs, as well as individual properties with posted no soliciting signs. They passed two no soliciting signs on my property to knock on my door and woke up my toddler. A no soliciting sign is not an invitation to try harder, its a statement that I do not want to be bothered for whatever reason. Two signs + the sign at the entrance to the neighborhood should convey that message to anyone who can read. Thank you to Olivia & Richard who ignored all those signs and woke my child up after only 10 minutes down. Word to the wise - Any company that relies on door to door sales is a company you should think twice about using. They have no respect for your privacy and view you as an obstacle to get through to get to your wallet. Their work is not quality work, as they cannot rely on bird-dog referrals to drive new business and use shady tactics like this. a Reece solicitor just came to my door. I live on a private road with a no trespassing and no soliciting sign posted an the entrance. I informed him he was trespassing and soliciting. He then told me he was just canvasing not soliciting and . I told him to leave which he did. after I started to call the sheriff. Stay away! High pressure! They don't honor their quotes! They try to make you make decision on site saying that if we have to come back and send another salesman your quote will go up 15%. One of the owners (Craig) calls me and gives me a better quote and when I ask for the new estimate to be emailed to me it doesn't happen. Salesman came, my wife and I were there listening to his speech. My wife was getting ready to go to work. As she was preparing her lunch, the salesman got all flustered that she wasn't giving him 100% of his attention. Now this was only 30 mins into his presentation. He picked up and said" we cant finish this" I told him we still have another hour of the presentation, he said nope and ran out of my house. He ran so fast, that he forgot his case that hold a sample to show. So if you call Reese and you cant give 100% of your attention, even if you have kids and they might need your attention, ignore your kids, if you don't want Reese Windows to come to your house and waste your time. read more

Signed a contract in January, 2023 for $90K worth of windows and doors. Project still not complete. My best advice, do not pay them until everything is done or it never will be. I was content to leave my last post as is. I feel very honest about my report. You did NOT paint my house, you painted the areas that had to have the stucco repaired much which was due to window installation. Stucco still not done correctly. And you forgot to mention that the replacement door damaged by the other contractor took the better part of two months to be replaced and was 6" too narrow when it arrived, third door ordered came in 6" too short, 4th fits nicely...good job. I still have glue residue all over one of my new doors glass because that plastic was left on for months. Also check your notes, how many times did your guys have to come out to fix leaks in the new windows? read more

Reece has been to our house at least three times in the last few months for cold sales attempts. They don't pay attention to No Soliciting signs(the sub-division has one at the gates AND my doorbell has one). The old rundown van they show up in is not a sign of a solid business model. While being a door-to-door door salesman is funny in an ironic sort of way, it's unwanted. Read signs. Respect signs. If I want doors or windows I will reach out to someone. Signed the contract and gave them our deposit. They promised a 6 week turnaround and even sent out a guy to measure. Since then we have not heard anything and just assumed we were waiting our turn until today when we recieved a letter stating their installation management team declined to accept our contract. We recently used Reece to replace all the windows in our house and honestly I'm kinda on the fence about them. We did the replacement in 2 different parts. The first time we had a looooooong wait from the time we signed the contract to when they actually came out to install the windows. To be fair, we were warned that they were slammed, so we would be in for a bit of a wait. When we finally got notice that they were coming out to install, we were told they would arrive between 9-10 am, but they showed up around 8am. They did the work quickly and took care of any mess they made. No issues. Great! The second time, the work started much faster which was awesome. Again, they told us they would arrive between 9-10... and they arrived around 8:20. The first time it had been a crew of 3-4 guys, but this time it was only 2 guys. Neither of them spoke any English, so that made it slightly difficult. They broke a few of the old windows when they were removing them, and from what we could tell they cleaned up the broken glass... or so we thought. For days afterwards we were finding shards of broken glass in our kids bedrooms and their playroom, and LOTS of broken glass in our yard where of course our kids play. For weeks we were finding broken glass. Just when I feel like we've cleaned it all up.. I find more. I'm not sure why there was such a big difference between the first window installation and the second, but if the first time had been like the second, then we definitely wouldn't have used Reece again. Overall we're happy with our new windows, just not necessarily happy with the installation process. read more

We first talked with Reece Windows at a Home Show, and set up an appointment to get measurements and a price quote. Armando showed up at the designated time and proceeded to do his thing as we walked him through showing him each window and door we want to replace. After the measurements were taken, he gave a demonstration of the construction of their windows. He also tried to demonstrate how "unbreakable" tempered glass is by throwing it on our sidewalk. It shattered into a thousand mini cubes, as safety glass is designed to do! He insisted he dropped it on the corner and that's the only reason it shattered. That isn't what discouraged us from buying from Reece. He sat in our living room working up a quote citing insane numbers that he then was "nice" enough to start discounting for various reasons - his employee discount, a multiples discount, a senior citizen discount, etc... This brought the insane numbers down to simply ridiculous. (Roughly DOUBLE the Angi estimates). But wait! They will finance it over 15 years! (Gee, thanks!) And on another note, Armando talked only with my son, not me - the primary homeowner (of a $700,000 house) and high paid corporate executive! Along the way, he managed to make both sexist and ageist comments. The coup de grace was he refused to provide a written quote saying it is company policy and then threatened us that the price was good until he walked through the door. I like to do my due diligence and typically research a company/product prior to making a purchase. I compared Reece to a couple other products and companies and they offered a high quality at a competitive price. Our sales rep Scott Scerbo was early to our scheduled appointment on May 20. He actually ended up filling in on his day off for another representative. Scott did a wonderful job presenting his product. He was very patient and professional. We ended up ordering 7 impact windows (non Hurricane) for the front/side of our house which came with Hurricane shutters. I love our new windows but I hate the look of the tracks. I'm going to remove the tracks that are used to mount the shutters, paint the cover screws, and will just store the tracks with the shutters in the case of a big Hurricane. Order came in earlier than I expected; took about 1 month. Installers Michael/Josh did a decent job. No broken glass anywhere unlike some reviews I read from other companies. They did leave a ton of metal shards all over my driveway/grass where I believe they cut the metal for the Hurricane tracks. All other issues with install were minor and addressed at the final follow-up visit after passing inspection. All in all, I'm very happy with our new windows and have decided to replace all the remaining windows in our home with Reece! Great job, great product, great customer service! I'll update my review in future if issues arise with these/future windows or service. As for now I recommend 100%! read more

In early April 2021, Reece installed new windows. I love the windows but Reece is horrible at customer service. I've been waiting for over a month for someone to return a window screen that was installed with a hole in it and a broken clip. I don't want to hear excuses as to why I've yet to receive the screen. If anything else goes wrong with my windows, I'm not confident that Reece will do their job in a reasonable timeframe. This company goes door to door, offering an estimate. They do not provide a written estimate - its all on their computer. They give you no time to read the estimate and the contract that goes with it. You get pressured into doing it, essentially "buy now or it'll be more". Than it escalates from Estimate to Contract Signed to Financed. Canceling the contract is a pain - calling the office, waiting for "manager" to call you back, and then continues to pressure you on the phone over your reasons. Manager finally accepts that we are not interested. As a safeguard, we went ahead and signed the Cancelation Form they hide in their electronic document and are sending that to the local office certified mail. We've also sent an email to contact@reecewindows.com notifying them of the cancelation as well. (Found the email in a customer service response from the company). read more

Reece did half my house windows 2 years ago and they were fine. Windows are fine. Installation was fine. Sales rep was a nice man. I'm ready to do the other half now and sadly I refuse to work with them due to heinous marketing and appointment setting practices. I have told these people 3 to 5 times that I am the sole homeowner.
