I really enjoyed this walking food tour around Islamorada. Everything we tried was delicious that I will be sure to visit those same places again. The tour not only highlighted great eats, but was full of history, art, and Islamorada culture. Craig was a great tour guide. Thanks for the wonderful day food hopping around town!

If you are thinking about going on this tour......do it! I went with a group of 7 other women for a 50th birthday celebration and it was so much fun! We started out at 10:30 in the morning and met at Library Park in Islamorada. Our guide, Sheryl, had everything planned out perfectly! We walked to about 10 different stops; some we're just points of interest in the Keys, and some were actual food & drink stops. We started at The Trading Post Grocery Store, which Sheryl explained was the oldest grocery store in the Keys. It is still family owned, and there we each got a' mini key lime pie. Next we went behind the building to a cute little park with cozy seating areas in a beautiful tropical setting. This area is also the home of Bad Boy Burrito where we each had a soft taco and a delicious hibiscus tea. My taco was made with Kobe beef & it was yummy! My friends who had the fish taco, made with Covina said they were a highlight of the trip. Most of us ate our little pies here as well and they were fantastic! Next we stopped at the Bloodline filming site for Kevin's Marina. (There was a Bloodline theme to the tour and many of the restaurants and bars we visited had been used in various scenes of the series.). Next we went to the Shrimp Shack where the seafood lovers got to try coconut shrimp and a conch fritter and the non-seafood lovers got a delicious little salad with fresh strawberries, mandarin oranges, and blue cheese. Everyone was happy with their food, and the owner came by to give us a brief history of her experiences owning restaurants in the Keys. We walked some more and learned about many places like the Florida Keys Hurricane Memorial and we even saw the childhood home of our guide. Plus we got to sample 2 unique craft beers at the Florida Keys Brewing Company & try 2 chowders, conch & turtle, at the historic Green Turtle Inn. Our final stop was the Islamorada Fish Company where we were each given a side of fish dip with crackers & veggies. This is a big restaurant that had live music and lots of outdoor seating with great views of the water. We were also able to relax and order from the bar on our own if we chose to. We ended up very close to where we had parked and all of the locations were within a mile and a half of each other. It was a fun way to enjoy each other's company while sampling some new cuisine and learning some history about the Florida Keys. Of course our host, Sheryl, made the tour even better because she was so knowledgeable and had everything set up so smoothly. I highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely loved this tour! I had a hard time figuring out where to park but once I arrived we were up and rolling! I did this food tour on Black Friday and it ended up being a private tour with Craig. It was an absolutely amazing food tour, one of the best I have been on. I got to try a great amount of food and food I have never had before. The turtle chowder was absolutely amazing and it was my first time having it! I learned a lot of history and got to see a lot of Bloodline filming locations. What an awesome tour! Thank you so much Craig and everyone!

This is not only a fun tour, but the food at each spot is delish and unique. Do not be afraid to try the unusual dishes! And although I lived in the keys 8 years of my childhood, I still learned alot of history about the keys and those who settled there first. If you're a Bloodline fan, you'll see the actual sites where they film. Would definitely recommend (preferably in the cooler months), and bring along friends to share in the fun!

It was a fun trip from Robbies. We rented 5 kayaks to go out on the water. Most of the water was shallow until after you get past the bridge, the water will become deeper. They provide you a path to follow and a map to ensure that you stay away from the current. You have the option to go with a guide, but we went together and did just fine. It took us 35 minutes to get from Robbies to the Island via Kayak. When you arrive, they have an area that they recommend you to park your kayaks at. Now there are other locations but if you seen them, this is the best location to stop at for sure. The island is small and difficult to understand that there was a neighborhood here once upon a time in 1863, over 100 years ago. We were able to make it to the other side of the island. Members of our team decided to go swimming at the top of the surface to see what they seen under the water. One thing it was very hot on this day, so it worked our well. The island doesn't have lots to offer, but can be a good day to paddle out, explore, even take a lunch and relax until it's time to go back.

This is a nice way to spend an hour or so, and it makes coming here even more fun if you come by kayak :-)

I booked and paid for a sandbar boat trip and snorkeling excursion. While we did attempt snorkeling, the weather and water conditions were extremely poor--choppy water, stormy weather, and very limited visibility. The conditions were so rough that it made us feel sick, and snorkeling itself was difficult. Some of the people on the boat only went in a few minutes because it was so choppy. We were told both on the phone and in person that we would be going to Alligator Reef, (another woman on the boat said she asked the guy at the counter for the tour if we were going to Alligator Reef and he said yes), but due to the conditions, this was not the experience we were promised. Because of the weather, we were unable to go to the sandbar at all (rain, clouds, choppy water). In hindsight, the trip should not have gone out that day given the conditions, especially since the main destinations could not be accessed safely. WHICH WAS MOST LIKELY WHY WE WERE THE ONLY BOAT OUT ON THE WATER-- DIDN'T SEE ANOTHER BOAT THE ENTIRE TIME. The other thing- people snorkel in Florida because it's warm and clear. This day was raining, choppy, murky and cold! We were offered the option to return the following day by Jerry (Wednesday the 14th) for the sandbar. However, when we came back, the weather was again bad, and your staff advised that you likely would not be going out. This resulted in another wasted trip, and ultimately, we never received the sandbar portion of the experience we paid for. I was then told I could use the sandbar trip on a future visit, but I live in California and do not have plans to return, making that option unrealistic. To be clear, I did not request a refund for the entire excursion (although, I really should)--only for the sandbar portion, since that service was never provided. Even though we purchased the snorkel sand bar trip, they take you out on the boat to snorkel, make you come all the way back in to pick up more people, then go all the way back out again, so half your trip is just chartering people. That wasn't the issue (just putting that in here for others so that they know). It was so cold and choppy and nauseating that there is no way someone should be going to the sandbar! I was hoping we would have been able to resolve this directly and professionally, but the company didn't respond. It was not a fun environment for snorkeling, and clearly the company went out anyways because it's a business and they care more about your money than your experience. It was freezing and nauseating. After speaking to several employees at our hotel, they said that the company should never have taken any of us out that day and that the boating company often promise things and underdeliver and that they don't personally recommend that company to people that come in. I wish I had not booked ahead of time and spoke to someone onsite first. Also we have only one photo on the boat because it was so choppy that people were having trouble standing up to take a photo! I gave 1 star because the two men captaining the boat were fabulous and although they had to take us out by force, they were good at explaining how to snorkel and tried to make the most of it. When asked if we were going to Alligator Reef like promised, they said, "Look out there, it's pouring, it's bad here but it will be way worse out there."

He was very accommodating in finding a day and time that worked for us, very hospitable, and had a great personality! Charlie texts you several times before the boat day, to make sure directions on everything are clear- I really appreciated receiving the EXACT directions with pictures and precise details. His "Tiki Tiki" boat was brand new and beautiful, and I enjoyed bringing our own drinks and snacks on the boat (he parks next to a food boat, if you'd rather buy food). The sandbar was a lot of fun, and Charlie brought many toys for us to play with on the water (kayak, rafts, beer pong table, noodles, etc). Definitely enough equipment to keep you busy for the day! The sandbar was a bit busy (even on a weekday), but he tried to find us an area where no one was blaring their music, so we could play our own. Charlie took several pictures and videos for us that he emailed us later in the week. I really enjoyed having all those, in addition to mine. Only constructive criticism I have, would be that I booked a half day "tour", and had mentioned going snorkeling and doing the catch/release of baby sharks. I was under the impression that was all set up as the plan for the day. However, we went straight to the sandbar and spent the day there; little bit of a letdown as we wanted to do other activities as well- other than that it was a great day! The water was clear, we saw some fish (and lots of dogs), and the weather was perfect- we had a great day with Captain Charlie!
