I had a whole house system and a RO system installed, all the staff are very friendly and they come right out promptly. I do think their systems are a little too expensive but I like the lifetime warranty they have. If there are any issues they come and service it completely free. While checking out the company, I found these customer reviews on Yelp. I am very impressed by the owner's representative who answers each question. Just like Justina. He seems sincere and he is consistent in his desire to resolve any issues you have - that's the sign of a good businessman and a good business. Good systems are not cheap. Can you buy cheap? Yes. But you will not get this system with its lifetime guarantee on the equipment and annual service to replenish the consumables (filters, etc.) used through the year. If you have been told by anyone that their system 'runs forever without cost', you have been told a lie. It doesn't make sense. I am sufficiently impressed by the analysis and proposal provided by Justine to consider this further. This company is a full out SCAM. They don't tell you that once a year they will tell you that you need an inspection, then scam you out of over $300.00 for parts and labor that you do not need. I called and had my bill adjusted (or so they told me) but then I got the bill in the mail for the full amount. I have tried calling over and over (4 times) and have gotten NO call back at all. My system wasn't even installed correctly and didn't run for over FIVE months when it was first installed. This is how they treat customers. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you off the hone and then you will NEVER get a hold of the billing department ever again. 0/10 would NEVER buy again. Edit: they finally called me back and Shannon was VERY RUDE. When I asked to speak with her supervisor she said that there was no one above her except for the boss. Update 4/9. Thinking about this, I had to "apply" for credit for this, yet nothing showed up on any of the 3 credit reporting agencies. I'm wondering now if this another red flag. ----------------- I'm sure these systems are effective, most of them are. We did sign a contract, and they wanted to install that day, but we had things to do and I usually like to think about things for a day or two. Once I thought about it, I realized that if installed right away, what happens to the 3 business day waiting period that the law says you must be given? Is this the reason why they close and install within hours? When I went to review comparable systems, pricing came up much less than what they were, by a huge amount. The RO system there were no actual specs offered and I did find one that appears to be similar on Amazon (zero waste model, ver 6) on Amazon for $420 and the package of cleaning products offered are way overvalued ($7k for free?). My thinking here is that the product probably will do what they say and work well, but the price is way too high even after the supposed "sale price". Sales persons without an email address on their business card is a red flag. I looked high and low for something I could use to cancel, but they don't make it easy. I ended up texting the salesperson and emailing to a general "contact" email address on the website. The "immediate install" is actually a red flag as well. For a major purchase, I don't want it installed until after my 3 days are up, as I am doing my due diligence. Your experiences may be different, I can't comment on the product performance of course, as I said it probably will work just the way they say it will, but after taking the time to perform due diligence there are comparable systems out there that are less than half the cost. And my install would have been easy as I already have a rented system installed and I have a non RO system installed under the sink that goes to a spigot and my fridge. 3 stars just on the business process and red flags. We responded to a letter we believed had come from the county to test our water. After using a simple home test, some persuasive tactics, significant sales pressure and their assurance that "they install these systems in condos and town homes all the time", they attempted to install a "sophisticated" filtration system and water softener in my condo. I confirmed in writing, on the contract, that the installation would be in the garage since the outside walls belong to the association. The filters were in the garage but the connection was done through the outside, voiding the contract, damaging the wall, pavers and creating an ugly situation with my HOA. They came back the next day to disconnect the system and assured me they would pay for the damages and would re-install it internally, to code. Seven months later, the system was sitting in my garage, my calls were not returned, they refused to pay my HOA and I had to involve an attorney. Once there was an attorney involved, the manager then changed his story about being able to install it internally. Maybe it would not have been to code???? The owner must be getting used to litigation and finally agreed to reimburse me $3,700 for the two tanks sitting in my garage, $3,000 less than the original $6,700 they had charged. They would not agree to remove the reverse osmosis system that was installed in the kitchen. So, it cost me $3,000 for a system that you can find at any local hardware store for $250. The Pentek membrane they use cost $16.77. The Globalwater Solutions RO-132 storage tank they use cost $50. Fl Water Analysis claim their system is superior but they cannot explain how or why. The boxes in their truck have labels that say "made in Taiwan". Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company! You will save tons of money, time and aggravation!! read more

Rob came and tested my water at my home in Clearwater. He pointed out many facts about my water that I did not know. I was amazed at all the metals, and impurities that were in my water. He suggested a softener, and a reverse osmosis for purified drinking water. Now, I have purified water in my coffee, my ice, all the water I drink, all five of my pets now drink purified water also! My softener is really great too, there is no film on my dishes after the dishwasher runs, and my wife is sooo pleased at how well the soap and shampoo lathers up in the shower, her skin is so soft and smooth! I honestly would never go back to having untreated water because Rob was so great at suggesting a fix to our water issues. Bonus, I never have to buy bottled water again!!! Updating my prior review with some new information. While I was at my Mom's house talking with her about FWA's practices, I looked at the paperwork they'd left. Their original "discounted" invoice was for a 6-stage RO system, ($2395.00), an in-line carbon filter system ($5095.00), and a lifetime warranty ($50.00) for a total of $7490.00. My dementia-addled Mom did sign a contract and they had already installed the RO system. I stopped them from doing the rest. Funny thing was, the sales guy stopped by to write a revised invoice for just the RO system (we honor contracts in my family, even if they were deceptively obtained) while I was there. I had looked at the RO system they installed. A quick search shows the complete unit is available online for $249.94. The sales guy seemed nice enough but he could not justify the $2395.00 cost of the system, which was installed in under an hour. He does not set the prices, he indicated, but Florida Water Analysis certainly does, and they are charging nearly 10x what the system costs in reality. It's a business and they have to make a profit, I get it, but this is just greed. I looked at the inline carbon filter (that I shut down the install of before even more damage was done) and that's about the same huge massive price multiplier. Buy these items yourself if you want them and have a handyman service install them. Stay away from Florida Water Analysis and their ridiculous pricing schemes. read more

In the 4 years I've had service from them my system has been working for a total of maybe about 6 months. Since installed, the useless techs have not put it to work correctly. they charged me a ton of money to move my system to my new home and the system was never put to work! Now that I realize that the system wasn't working I've called and scheduled an appointment to fix it THREE TIMES! and they ALWAYS fail to arrive! They do not provide information on hte systems they install. They do not work with you, I made mistake by installing it the same day I bought it. I made a mistake by having them put it in and not expalining it fully to me. When I ask the salesmen before he left he told me I wouldget everything in the mail. Well I did not. It is against federal law to require you to buy the filters from them to keep the warranty. I am doing more research. The issue is to take the mto court one has to come up with more money then the sytem is worth. I do not want them in my home again. I learned an expensive lesson. They are not honest nor to they provide you with the inofrmation you need before you buy. Nor deos the salesmen explain to you what yo uare getting and how it works. I was doing my taxes that day and getting ready for a month long trip. I am back now and purchasing another system from Costco where the vendor is honest. I would not have anything to do with this company at all. I do recommend those who have issues to contract your consumer complaint dvivion in your state so they can keep a file on them. I am working with them now. The installation goes against their warranty. ON the contract is said life time warranty- in the mail the certiricare says limited lifetime warranty. I do not trust them, the salesmen never even told me I needed an electrical outlet. HE used my GFCI in the front of my building and ran an extension cord to the tank. He knew I could not life and they want to install stuff which makes money for them in maintaince, not bad but not honest. As a consumer everything costs so much and things are going up in price. When I received their mailer, I thought that this testing was something the city or state was mandating. When I called to make the appointment, I specifically asked whether they test for lead. The woman on the phone said that lead is one of the things being tested. I was surprised when they said that they could do the lead test on site. As a scientist, I am aware that lead tests are done by mass spectrometers. It turns out that this company is only doing tests in order to sell filter systems. They do a titration using a pH indicator. This test is for water hardness, though what it is measuring is mostly bicarbonate (dissolved CO2 in the same chemical form as baking soda). This is common in the safest natural water. Their reverse osmosis system actually removes these natural ions, which may not even be good for the body! All in all, I am very dissatisfied with this company. They advertise and set up appointments under false pretenses, didn't follow through with claims do test for lead, and used deceitful tests to try to convince me something about my water needed to be remedied by the snake oil they are selling. read more

I bought a water conditioning system from Florida Water Analysis (FLA) one year ago. The sales person who came to my house explained the different issues with Florida water and conducted an experiment to show me the crud that was in the water I was drinking and showering in. He also told me that FLA would conduct a FREE annual inspection. He told me that the filters would most likely need to be replaced every 4-5 years and they would take care of that, too. Additionally, the person who came to my house to install the entire system also did a great job, and cleaned up when he was finished. So, why the 2-star rating? For 4 reasons: (1) I never received any customer service follow-up after the system was installed to ask if everything was okay or if I had any questions, (2) no one ever provided any basic customer education. The FREE annual inspection was clearly stated and made it sound like the cost of the filters was included in the cost of the entire system. (3) no one provided any education about completing a "bypass" task 3 or 4 times each year to help maintain the system (4) the rudeness of the person I was told was the supervisor (Shannon) that I spoke with today. I called to suggest that the company should include customer education when they sold and installed the system since they are the experts about whole house water conditioning systems and most customers have no clue about any of that. My education came today when the tech came to my home to complete the free annual inspection. That tech was great and if this review was only about him, I'd give a 5-star review! He showed me the filters that were in my kitchen that had all sorts of black gunk in them, which proves the system is working. However, it has only been 1 year and not 4-5 years. That was my first shock. My next shock was that the cost to replace those filters would be approximately $200! AND, he had not checked the tanks outside yet. I asked how much it would cost to replace those filters and he said approximately $100. This means that I should expect to pay approximately $300 every year and none of that was made clear to me when FLA sold the system to me. I honestly feel that this was bait & switch. When he went outside to inspect the tanks, he told me that I should be completing a quick and easy bypass task 3-4 times each year so that chlorine runs through the tanks and all filters and cleans them out! When I called FLA just now, I asked the receptionist to transfer me to a supervisor and I was transferred to Shannon. While I was trying to explain the reason for my call, she kept cutting me off and would not let me finish any sentence. She told me that everything was included in the warranty that I should have received. I should have read that and she hung up!!! I never even got to mention the lack of education about cleaning the system 3-4 times/year to maintain the condition of the system. I went back to their website and looked at ALL of the customer reviews and amazingly, the only comments you see are 4- and 5-star reviews. I then checked Yelp for FLA and was blown away to see that there are only 1- and 2-star reviews!!! I then went onto the BBB website and discovered that BBB contacted FLA in January 2018 regarding the direct mail card advertisement that FLA uses (stating that many areas experiencing flooding, contaminated runoff, and water in main breaks...). BBB requested substantiation from FLA to prove that the ad is truthful and non-deceptive and to date FLA has not provided the substantiated proof to the BBB. Sadly, if FLA would have provided any kind of decent customer service and education, because the system does work and I see that every day by how clean my dishes are, then I would have provided a 5-star rating!!! read more

BUT YES it is only a ploy to get in your house and scare you into thinking your water in unsafe. The Tech lied to me about BSU water not being RO and that it was the worse in the area. In fact, after talking to a friend of mine that is an engineer that works doing civil water engineering he told me, and I later confirmed, that BSU is one of the best water utilities in all SWFL. I was tricked and signed up. I feel foolish that I thought I needed this at all. It's just a company selling something you don't need (at least in Bontia Springs). The name of the company is great marketing as it catches your interest eluding you to think it is a state or government entity provided service, on the contrary, they are privately owned and here to make $ with a great sales pitch! Had I known this wasn't a free government program I would not have had them in my home, which comes across as false pretenses, though in all fairness they didn't say they worked for the state of FL. They work this angle very well to get through your door then try to upsell an overpriced system. Also, I don't even know how they got my info, perhaps via new home sales in the area. If you are considering a system, then feel free to have them give you an estimate fully aware of the aforementioned and hefty price tag - shop around! In addition, I'd get an independent water testing from a company that has no skin in the game to have the confidence of a non-bias test result, then get some estimates. Here I was thinking the whole time this was only a water test until the $5000 solution was thrown at me. Also, they will NOT leave the estimate w/you saying it is only for binding signed contracts which is always a sign of not being transparent. Anytime a company refuses to leave an estimate in writing is suspect. Unfortunately in todays world there's always an angle.
