From reaching out to Snowbird making the appointment, text message updates and connecting, my first in-person was Carlos. Carlos is The Service Tech Guy! Carlos's understanding of the systems, the importance of explaining the issues, and current condition of the unit (even to show the meter readings which I personally appreciated having a background in mechanical) he took the time to explore the options, costs and considerations for short and long term. When it was decided to go with the new system- Paul, The Sales Guy, was on the phone with me to review the A/C units, work through the pricing to get the best deal on this major (and can be nerve wracking) purchase. We decided on the unit and everything was scheduled. Matthew, The Install Guy, worked alone and very hard being respectful of property yet working smart to remove and install the new system onto the sweltering Florida sun (UGH!) He does an amazing job! From a business perspective (and I work with many companies, big and small, including startups) kudos to Jennifer Gleason, The Owner Gal, for marrying people and technology together to provide the best customer experience possible. So this is my second estimate they came out almost immediately in fact they came early they said…read morethey were going to be here in between 12-1 And then they updated it and say they were going to be there in between 11:00 and 12:00 so needless to say they arrived earlier than was originally scheduled which was fine by me I told him what the problem was I told him that he was the second quote they immediately went up and said we got to check it out of course and they found a bad relay they replaced that relay and the AC immediately started working I ended up getting charged $160 bucks The other company the first quote wanted to charge me $3,160 And they couldn't fix it today which was technically Saturday, so basically $3,000 more than Randolph's I actually shook the guy's hand and I said thank you so much for being so honest. We even discuss that it had to be under $2,500 because that was the limit on the credit card and they didn't even charge me but $160.

I drove 2 hours so I can be present in the house so they could come, between 8-12, and instead of coming during that block like a regular company they come a half hour late after being called to see when the eta is. The guy came, didn't greet or even apologize for the time wasted or tardinesss, I left so they could do their thing next guy came in going back and forth without saying anything. Suspicious, rude. They then instead of closing the garage or announcing their departure or communicating at all just drove off. But the kicker is that their manager called after they left with a very condescending tone and matter-of-fact attitude letting me that my quote is old..unrelated..and that they sent a bigger guy instead a skinny guy so they can't go into the attic to fix whichever issue they caused from the last time they came to work on the ac (if you already knew the issue, and that the attic needed to be entered..why would you not send the correct people for the job?..suspicious) which she then said a different crew would need to come out a week after the week I just waited to get it done. I then requested to speak to the owner, who came with an amplified negative attitude stating they've been in business for 47 years and they have never gotten a complaint and to get somebody else to do it..and so I did, he came within 30 minutes and fixed it within 30 minutes without an issue and he was polite, he debriefed, and he closed the garage when he left.

He identified the piece needed and ordered it off Ebay for us. Here we are a few years later and the unit needs replacing. While the one guy was cleaning out my drain and unit. the other guy Jason replaced the motor. They did decent work for us but both Ryals bros and SRM concrete left us with over $3900 in damages…read moreand know one ever took responsibility. Ryals bros said SRM should pay for it and SRM concrete says they don't need to take care of it. Both companies blame the other. I was told by Caleb that he doesn't think it's fair to hold a company he uses for concrete responsible since it's the only concrete company they have. SRM says we are too big to care. While we sit here with a 3k bill from Georgia power and 1k in driveway damages. Basically the SRM guy couldn't drive his concrete truck backwards. First he tore up our yard. Then while backing up he crushed our driveway drainage pipe. When a company came to fix it we found he had pinched our main power line to the house! So upon removal of the drain pipe the whole neighborhood flashed and we lost power. So almost 4k later in damages we now have 2 companies that work together but won't hold one responsible for it. I don't get it. I wouldn't use a company to represent my company that refuses to take responsibility in their own work. Companies don't care these days. This is proof. Screw the little guys. It's was only $3900 in damages which is "chump change" to them. We spent 24k on work. All concrete. I even bought them lunch everyday! ‍
