The pizza and muffins are awesome! We love sitting on the screen patio looking out at the lake.

My full size calzone (vs luncheon sized) was very good.The other 6 people at the table were satisfied with their lunches as well however the people who ordered the soup and salad said although the soup was good, there just wasn't enough of it. It appeared to be less than a cup of soup in the bowl. One person ordered soup to go and it was delivered in a styrofoam (12oz?) cup with a cap. How your supposed to drive home holding the cup is not well thought out As hot soup spilt on a driver can be a real issue in safety. BTW they charge 3.75% when using a credit card. read more

On Saturday May 30th 2026 I phoned in an order around 5:15 pm. I ordered two Penne meals with meatballs. I told the person taking the order that the last time we ordered the same thing. I explained that the meal lacked sauce as it was dry. At 6:45pm We picked up the order after an extended wait. When we arrived back home and opened the boxes we were stunned. Not only was there a lack of Penne Pasta but the sauce was next to non existent. The meatballs were a joke. No flavor at all. Even the bread sticks were like rubber.We could have cooked up a batch of pasta and poured some Ragu on it and get a premade meatball from Publix and had a far better outcome than what we had at Floridino's restaurant. A total waste of time and money. You can bet your bottom dollar that we will never patronize that establishment again. read more

Ambiance Nice but... ...I decided to go with my family, to eat something last minute, and although a "SUGGESTED TIP" is excellent, because of the quality of the food is super good, the service too, but I am one of those who think that I leave the TIP because of the service that the person gave me, and also sometimes I also evaluate the food, in order to adjust the total of the TIP, but in this place I do not have to evaluate the food, because it is good, but the TIP I PAY FOR THE SERVICE AND THEY SHOULD NOT CALCULATE THE % WITH THE TAXES, it does not matter what amount of taxes the receipt has, the TIP is for the service only, because in this way the person who offered the service, I would get a higher TIP total, and even more so when now they do not pay taxes for TIPS at the time of surrendering or submitting to the IRS, anyway I left you very good TIP, I only leave you this review so that you are pending and do not waste your money paying TIP for the taxes on the receipt read more

What an unexpected gem! I'd stopped in Winter Haven to see a friend and was headed back to I-4 and noticed a few places on the lake and decided to stop for a late lunch. We were warmly greeted by staff and told a booth would be ready in few minutes. We could have a seat in the lobby or look around. There were seats in the lobby but there were also large cases of scrumptious, to die for, looking desserts by the cashier's station. Our table was ready but it was hard to pull myself away from the desserts. Our server was very friendly and seated us at a nice booth by a window with lovely view of the lake. Unfortunately, it was raining or we would have chosen to sit outside on the deck. Our server promptly brought our drinks, but the menu had so many tempting choices it was really difficult to make a decision. We finally decided on the sundried tomato penne pasta with chicken and the spinach cheese pizza bread with marinara on the side. While we were waiting on our food I decided to check the desserts again. The food came out while I was checking out the desserts. It was so delicious and very generous portions. I could only eat half of the spinach cheese stuffed bread and my husband had some pasta and bread left as well. The server was extremely attentive and frequently refilled our drinks. In addition to the left over food, we ordered tiramisu, orange cake and key lime pie to go. I had dinner for the next day and three days of desserts. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely come back when we are in the area. Everything was positive and I wish we were close enough to visit frequently. read more

I won't ever eat at Olive Garden however if an Olive Garden opened next door to this place, this place would be out of a business. In other words, when even Olive Garden would be better? It's bad. We had four different dishes. The salad comes out w "vinaigrette" which is straight oil. Our salads were covered in oil. The dinners had zero flavor. Extremely small portions. The chicken parm is a hard chicken breast. It was all terrible. Spaghetti and meatballs? The sauce was a dark weird red color like the sauce would be spicy. But no. My girlfriend and I came in and she got the sun-dried penne, pasta dish, and I got the manicotti meatball! Wow, it was so good. Tasty the sauces were perfect. Everyone is very friendly and the bar has lots of tvs to watch sports. I ordered the lunch calzone and antipasto salad. The lunch portion is HUGE, the dinner portion is even bigger. We also ordereed wings. Let me tell you, if you take nothing else away from this review. GET THE WINGS. Also, don't look at any other sauces for the wings, Get their signature sauce. Just don't! I'm not saying they're not good, but when you have perfection with the signature why bother. It has the perfect amount of heat but a sweetness of orange as well. (Insert chef's kiss here!) Pin Wheels are what they are famous for and we love them but their pizza is good and we LOVE their Antipasto Salad. One salad is more than enough for 2 people. It's a great location right on the lake. Just an overall great place for a family meal. read more

Nice building with a good amount of space. Its on the lake and I was thinking how cool it would be if they built a dock out back where boaters could visit. I am excited that there is a brewery opening up nearby. Parking can be tight and spaces limited as they get busy. On our first visit it was busy but we didnt wait long for a table. Staff worked hard and did a great job despite the business. All the food was great. Pizza was really nice. They had a good selection of food. Lots of good desserts. Been here many times. Food is always great. Normally do the same thing, but decided to try something different. Had their Cuban sandwich with fries and boy it didn't disappoint! They don't press it like a real Cuban, but the flavor was great! Wife had a Margherita flatbread and that too, tasted great. A little too heavy on the olive oil though - made it dripping with oil/grease. Waiters, as usual, we're very attentive and it is great that you can have a cold beer and watch the games! Eat here last week look at the charges and the waiter decided he needed a better tip. First our service was so slow we ended up not eating there had to take it to go took 40 min then as soon as we say we need it to go poof it appears the server never not one time even checked on us. I will be calling management I tipped the guy it was small but still there but to just go ahead and tip yourself 30 dollars I will never order anything but takeout from here again. The friendly staff at Floradino's was able to accommodate our semi large group by seating us right away. We order our drinks and food as normal which was pretty good. While I ordered a non alcoholic drink some in my party ordered the special, pint beer on tap. When the waitress handed out the pint beers they were notably smaller than a pint. They were actually just 11.6 ounces (I measured) they were the Stella Artois 33cl glass as scribed. I brought this to the attention of the waitress but she didn't seem to know how much a pint was , saying the glass was a pint. No manager around to ask. This is a lot of pilfering aka stealing... This is a wonderful change of pace to your typical Italian restaurant. Beautifully located on the edge of the lake, this is a huge building with 1/2 being a sports bar-style restaurant, and the other half a dining hall. The menu offered a wide variety of items to choose from. We had the Havana muffins for an appetizer. They were fantastic! Little mini Cuban sandwich pizza muffins! First visit in the 'new' building after our only horrible experience at the old place. It was night and day soooo much better now. The food is pretty good. Not great but not at all bad either. 3 because I would say if you have allergies beware. Pasta with sausage instead came out fish, they took it back removed the fish and added the sausage so it still had the taste. Which for us was fine but what if there was an allergy? The gluten free pizza came out with breaded eggplant. The description didn't state it was breaded and how did someone not consider that was a bad idea on a gf crust? They had to remake it and both errors created a long wait and all of us eating at different times. I don't think we'll go back but the location is great and food ok. read more

We had a really great time here. I had a big calzone and my wife ordered the gluten free pizza. Both meals were excellent. The appetizer was great also. I don't remember the name but it had amore in it. The calzone was so big I had to take home half of it and I normally don't have leftovers. The girls at the front counter and our waitress were very nice and attentive. The ambiance is great with it being right on a lake. The views were amazing. This is one of my favorite places to eat when visiting my parents. They are now located on Hwy 27 in Lake Hamilton. Right on the lake so the view is absolutely gorgeous! This location is much bigger than the previous in Winter Haven. They get busy fast around dinner time so plan on waiting a little for a table. They do have a full bar so grab a drink while you wait. They have a robust Italian menu. Everything from pizza and calzones to traditional pasta dishes. I had the chicken Parmesan with Penne. It was a perfect portion size and was delicious. My husband ordered boneless wings that were pretty good considering we were at an Italian restaurant. They were busy so we did have to wait a bit for our food but our waitress was very attentive and the food came out piping hot. They have happy hour M-F from 4-9pm and Saturday and Sunday all day. The desserts....oh my! We ordered these to go. Calzones and Italian Lemon Cream Cake. So good! We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. read more

First time trying Floridino's. The wings were absolutely amazing. We also ordered the bacon ranch pizza muffins - chef's kiss. Service was incredible, and the view of the lake was breathtaking at sunset. The only *minor* complaint I have is that the hanging table lights are too bright.
