Super busy on a week night, but very well managed. Wait was only 20 minutes. They give you a beeper when tables ready. We went with a couple that live here in Winter Haven. I got a yummy white calzone with ricotta and mozzarella, plus I added pepperoni. Hubby got spaghetti and meatballs. Our friends got eggplant parmigiana and lasagna. The cheesy bread was great. My calzone was scrumptious and big. I got red wine and hubby had a beer. Our friends drank coffee. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu choices. Food is Ok. It took over an hour to get our food. We had a waitress that didn't care- she just said the kitchen is backed up. I think she forgot to put in our order. It would have been nice if they would have check on us from time to time. I even expected the manager to come by and say something. We did not see the attraction. read more

Oh Floridino's ! What a wonderful yet unforgettable experience . It's a mom & pop restaurant , family owned . They had the best signature Sauce I have ever had on wings , their wings was magically delicious , it was honestly better wings then wing stop & hooters combined . Their dessert menu was nice too they had multiple choices to choose from . The service was delightful , our waiter Corbin was pretty cool . I def recommend this spot to everyone ! Such a cute spot!! My husband and I were randomly in Winterhaven around dinner time and looked at the map for close by places for dinner. We thought the name sounded cute so we decided on Floridino's. They have a private parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating. We walked inside to a very busy spot but luckily a busser was just finishing up a table and sat us right away. My husband realized he has been there for lunch once before and suggested we get the pizza muffins for an appetizer. YALL! If you go for anything, GET THE PIZZA MUFFINS!!!! It's like cinnamon bun, but make it pizza. Best things ever!!! I was full after eating 2. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan and enjoyed it. I ordered a chicken calzone and added spinach instead of tomatoes. This thing is literally a large pizza folded in half. HUGE!! If anyone is ordering one, order it to share. My daughter got the kids spaghetti and meatballs. It came with 2 meatballs and she liked them but said the sauce wasn't very good. Nearly half of the people who walked in were welcomed as family which is wonderful! We have some places in our neck of the woods that are the same way and we love that!! Whenever we are in town it is a forgone conclusion that we will eat at least once here. The best pizza we have had in Florida hands down. My opinion counts too because, I'm from Buffalo, NY area and I KNOW good pizza. Also a must have from here are their Antipasto salad and their Pin Wheels (delicious pizza roll ups). Went there for lunch! Ordered the pizza muffins lunch special.. It came with 6 and a dipping marinara sauce and included a salad . I must say overall the food was pretty good, and the salad was huge. Staff could've been a little friendlier and the bathroom needs a major facelift, but the food for the price was good. read more

I would have actually given them a higher rating if not for their service -- the food is worth four stars, at least. This casual pizza joint is nice for an informal family dinner or when you're catching a game. They have a full bar, tv's, and relaxed atmosphere -- almost too relaxed. Our waitress was friendly, but it took her forever (we sat at the table for 8-10 min, waiting) to get to us and take our order. When she brought out our drinks, she literally threw the straws at the table. She wasn't angry or bad-tempered, and I get that she was trying to have a fun, cheeky attitude, but it didn't work for me. It felt rude honestly. Other than that, she kept bringing out the wrong order and, for a table of hungry people, that was just torturous. lol. The pizza and calzone were delicious. They aren't lying when they advertise "World's Largest Calzone". I didn't have any of it, but my brother said it was amazing. The White Chicken Pizza tasted pretty good too; the crust was perfect -- light, fluffy, and full of flavor. I usually hate crust, but their's takes the cake. They told us debar was first come first serve so we grabbed the first table only to be told those were considered "regular tables@ well if that's the case then they should specify ONLY SITTING AT THE PHYSICAL BAR" also they had A TON of tables not being used both outside and to the side that could have seated people and didn't. They are getting a 1 because you can't leave negative numbers. It's a -4. Place was DIRTY and the table was sticky. I ordered a calzone with mushrooms and ham. I'm allergic to onions and it had onions in it. That shows this place dosen't pay attention to where their ingredients are at. I had to rush home so i could take my epi pen. This was my first and LAST TIME I'd go here. The calzone wasn't good at all. Bread was skinny(didn't taste fresh and they say) and it had barely any mushrooms. I wouldn't eat here if i were you. If I could give a zero as review I would. So unfortunate, the Bartender was fantastic and very attentive. We ordered French fries and they never came so we kindly cancelled them and ordered our pizza and after 45 minutes more pizza never came. The poor bartender was bewildered also about the delay. We were there for an hour and a half and couldn't get food and the owner Mike didn't seem to be interested at all or bother to give us the time of day. My wife and I cashed out and tipped the bartender 30 percent. 4/19/17 Delicious stuffed manicotti with meatballs. Serving came with 2 manicotti and 1 big meatball which was cut in half along with bread. The sauce was flavorful and zesty. My mouth is watering as I write this and we just finished eating 45 minutes ago. Boyfriend had the steak sub with fries. That was delicious too. He said the fries had a thin crispy coating and he kept dipping them in my red sauce LOL. I mean, who needs ketchup when you have delicious 'I'talian gravy right in front of you?! Am'i'right?! Recently the owners have implemented a "cash incentive" by charging you a percentage of your bill if you use your card (debit or credit). I am the type of person that won't even pump gas at a station that requires an additional cost to not use cash. Since I was unaware of this new policy, I had placed a pick up order. My total bill was $23.49 for 1 large pizza. I am fine with paying a high price for the item but I feel taken advantage of by being forced to pay extra just to use my own money. Anyway, I gave the cashier $40 cash. It took her 5 minutes to figure my change because she entered $24 in the cash register and she was stumped. Her coworker had to explain that it was "simple math". The register gave her the change to give, but not the bills. Good God if you want cash, have folks that can make change. Sorry to say Floridinos will no longer be on our list of dining choices. My money is good whether it's cash or debit. I do NOT have credit cards because I don't want to pay extra to spend money. Stop trying to make money off the backs of middle class people. Waited a long time for her to come over to our table. Took are orders like we bothered her. As we were eating, she would ask how everything was as she was walking by, not really able to hear if we needed anything. Took our CC for bill and proceeded to take 3 more table orders with our CC in hand. Then we waited a bit for her to bring back CC and it finally made its way back to our table by a different waitress. As we were leaving, our waitress stated "sorry but I have a couple of parties" That is not the patrons problem and I don't feel that's a reasons for bad service and the parties were a 6 person table and an 8 person table. read more

I'd never heard of pizza muffins but was willing to try them for lunch during our visit. O.M.G. These are scrumptious! Other flavor combinations not on the menu are available and the lunch special includes a antipasto salad that is tasty. The jumbo wings are very large, crispy, and delicious! We had 2 different flavors and would order both again. Service was great! Winter Haven location is smaller than Lake Hamilton so if you go during peak times to WH, be prepared to wait.
