Quick, easy, and inexpensive state inspection. I paid 1/5 of what I would have paid at the dealership...lol!

But after several disastrous…read moreexperiences in a row including them having our car a week for a simple issue without ever looking at it and breaking a sensor yet wanting to charge me for it to fix it...A lot of the positives I had that outweighed the obvious negatives have gone away. I even waited to write the review, not wanting to act on heated emotion in the moment. But even with a clear head, the experiences are unacceptable. I always knew an oil change here was about 2 hours minimum. It's annoying, but it's been that way from the beginning. I don't think I can recall a time it took less in the few years I've been coming. However I didn't mind dropping off or just using their waiting room while working. For friendly staff who didn't run the place like a racket and did good work, I couldn't complain. And the prices were even good. It's why I gave a 5 star review before despite their speed. But that hasn't been my experience for awhile now. Of remarkable incidents, first we had to do a bunch of work here for a car for stuff we found during inspection. The guy told me what it would cost but said he'd work to get me a deal to bring it down some. I said thanks and to go ahead. In the end they charged me the same thing without any discount. Not a huge deal, but I wasn't there to pay. My wife was. And after quite awhile (long enough for a bedding in process) the brakes they installed are still squealing. More importantly, after that, we took our other car in to change out a cracked wheel. When we got it back, the wheel tire pressure sensor was going off. The guy there said it would be fine and it would go away once we got on the highway. In this case, it didn't. Later came back and talked to them. The sensor on the tire apparently seems to have gotten damaged. I asked what could be done and they just quoted me the price of a new sensor and install for like $200 or so. I pushed that this sensor was fine when they took it and broken when we got it back. They said it could just be "coincidence" and that these things have a lifespan and go out all the time. But that's not all! It gets worse! By some ACTUAL coincidence, as we were dropping me off to pick the car up after the tire was changed, our other car was dying in the parking lot. We're at the mechanic when the car starts breaking down! What luck, right?! In this case, not really. I didn't have to call AAA to tow it at least, but it turns out I should have. We talked to them there and they said they couldn't do anything about it right then, but they'd get to it the next morning. So we left it. The next day we called and they said they'd get to it shortly that day. I called at the end and they said they hadn't. We called the next day and they had an excuse about the guy not being there that does the diagnosis. That was a Saturday and after that they were closed until Monday. But even if we towed it most others were going to close too. I came by and they had put the car on a lift and had another car stacked under it. This continued until around Wednesday...only to then tell me someone had finally LOOKED at the car and diagnosed the alternator was out! Something I MYSELF guessed was the case the whole time and that I could have gotten instantly checked at an Autozone, etc in 10 minutes! Except they charged me around a $120 diagnostic fee to do it! (Something they never used to do) They then quoted me an extremely high amount for an alternator and new battery, breaking down the cost of the parts and labor. I was about to change this battery myself and had one on hand, which I figured I'd let them just do it while it was there. I did pick up another alternator directly from the dealership for much cheaper, which they said was fine. But then they charged me way more than what they quoted for labor! The amount they charged for the battery was particularly excessive considering how easy it is. I would have 100% done it myself at home if they told me the price of labor was going to change from what they quoted me just because it wasn't their parts. Don't tell me something will be fine and then just do whatever you please! That plus the diagnostic fee, PLUS holding the car hostage for a week...I'm only giving the shop two stars at all because they have generally had nice technicians and an overall good waiting area. I'm sure some of these issues could be explained to being short-staffed and super busy, but overall I can only give so much slack.

Where else can you still feed a family of four for about $10 or less? The food isn't top tier obviously and the counter worker had a minor conniption because he had to make us three sundaes at once, but he managed to persevere through his complaints of exploitation. On weekends when we are between trips and trying to save some dough but our kids don't feel like they had a 'day off' unless they eat a meal prepared by someone other than me, this has become my go-to. "Let's go to Sam's for lunch" is met with cheers and celebration and so for that, I am grateful.

Bottomless drink and a huge slice of good pizza. Now granted, timing is everything because the line for ordering can be quite long. We opt for mobile ordering and skip with long lines and waiting. 10/10 for mobile ordering food here. The pizza is very good. Plenty of toppings and always cooked right. Love it. As far as the shopping experience goes, it's hit and miss. They usually have what we need. My biggest issue are the other customers. Not all of them just the ones who have no manners or rudely park themselves in the middle of an aisle successfully stopping the flow of shopping traffic in BOTH directions at the same time. Also, you'd think people hadn't eaten in a week how they hawk any and all free samples to like it's the Hunger Games. If you can grit your teeth and ignore the stupidity around you, you can get some great deals and stock up. We love the rotisserie chickens. I get a ton of pulled chicken as well as make 3 quarts of bone broth all for only $4.98. You need this. The store is fairly clean but it IS a warehouse venue. I also champion the "scan and go" app to avoid the long checkout lines and it's exactly how it sounds. I'm you scan your own items, pay online and proceed to the exit. If your receipt and cart gets checked buttons a minor thing compared to standing behind someone in line with $800 worth of stuff in their cart. All in all I do look forward to our trips here. The staff has always been friendly and the shelves are well stocked. If you have kids and want to save money, this is a good place to start.

Stanley, the general manager, told us he would call us back the next day, but we never heard from him. When we came in today, Brian told us again it would be 30-45 minutes. The car wasn't even started for about an hour and a half, and then we were told there was an issue getting a part off that wasn't mentioned until much later. They ended up having to take the car across the street to finish the job. When we brought up how far off the time estimate was, we were told by Brian that "I don't get compensation for doing the job in this heat, so you can take that up with Stanley" and handed the keys and showed us the door. Overall, the communication and timing were way off, and the way it was handled felt unprofessional and frustrating. I would not be returning to this location due to the lack of respect, honesty about timing, and the rude attitude from employees when we asked simple questions about what was going on.
