I really liked the two sides I had -- roasted cauliflower and butternut squash risotto. The salmon was fine, and the steak was perfectly cooked. The second time back, we both got steak and it was overcooked. It's supposed to be medium but two pieces were medium-well and the rest were well done. Half of us like flower child and the other half (including myself) enjoy sg a little bit more. I'm not saying this restaurant is bad in anyway, it's a tight call. Anyhow, love their menu with healthy fast food concept. Never had any problem with missing ingredient or order so far, which is always a plus in my experience of ordering lunch for the entire office. My fav is the teriyaki shrimp and avocado bowl. Very generous portion of shrimps. I just wish there would be more than one little wedge of avo included, given that avocado is the 2nd ingredient listed on the name. While the taste was OK, as you can see from the picture the ingredients did not look very appetizing. There was a layer of liquid at the bottom in which the food was floating that made it a bit sloppy and unappealing to eat. I first tried this place in DC and loved it. Honestly not all their dishes are vegan but they do have many good options. I am taking one star off cause of that. I am not certain how careful they are about contamination. But the dishes we tried was great. The place was super busy when we got there. You have to pay for parking. I ended up choosing tofu as my protein and the cauliflower risotto and heirloom tomato/ watermelon as my two sides. The tofu had a good amount of flavor. We even found out they have alcoholic drinks so we got a sangria. The Turkey and avocado Cobb salad was a surprising disappointment, with an abundance of dressing and not a lot of turkey, which was shaved extremely thin. Not as much to this salad as we'd imagined or as one usually expects from a Cobb salad. The cookie is maybe the best cookie we've ever had. Lemon cupcake is good as well.
