True Food Kitchen has been a long time staple in Cherry Creek at least for as long as I have been in Denver and they have always killed it and I think they have even gotten better over time. They are always my go to spot when I find myself in Cherry Creek and I want something on the healthier side that won't break the bank. I really do always feel like my stomach feels good after eating here. When you think of healthy food, typically taste is sacrificed for health but I never felt like that is the case here. No matter what I get here, it's always at least decent if not delicious. It is also really cool to see the open concept kitchen where you can easily see all the chefs prepare the whole foods. It is evident that they take pride in their food. The only thing that I am taking a star off for is that I have often felt rushed when dining there. We also asked for no sauce on the grass fed burger and when we received the burger with sauce on it and pointed it out the person who appeared to be the manager just replied "ok...?" like we were annoying him or he didn't understand what the issue was. Overall, love this place and will continue coming here for my tummy friendly food!

Been here many times (also in Arizona too). The food is so fresh and consistent. The Caesar salad is always a good one but I also love the Korean Noodle Bowl is a favorite (+grilled chicken). They can accommodate pretty much every food needs and the portions are just right (matches the cost). Highly recommend and will continue to be a repeat customer!

Airelle was a fantastic server, she made the experience for us. Outstanding sour dough pizza we also enjoyed the watermelon salad! It's spacious, but parking can be a challenge. The food was so good, I would definitely go back or try another location.

True Food Kitchen always delivers delicious from start to finish. Our server, Christian, was warm, attentive, and a step ahead of anything we needed. One of our favorite starters is the Edamame Dumplings. This vegetarian-friendly starter is only 270 calories for the whole dish. You know they're on the way when the truffle aroma reaches your table. It's wild how they take simple edamame and dial the flavor up to eleven. The silky broth is so good you'll want to drink it straight from the bowl. If you're sharing, you'll be fighting to get the last drop. I usually order the Spaghetti Squash Casserole, but tonight I switched it up with the Lasagna al Pesto. The pistachio pesto bursts with bright, herby notes that balance the tangy tomato sauce perfectly. The turkey-sausage Bolognese was tasty, for me it was just a touch salty. My husband went for the Chicken Parmesan. The True Crisp'd™ air-fried chicken breast was juicy, crisp, and generous; easily enough for two meals. I regret not ordering it myself! This dish packs 50 grams of protein and every bite tastes like comfort. We left happy, grateful, and already planning our next visit. Thank you, Christian and True Food Kitchen, for another lovely night.

Great food and a lot of options but definitely on the pricy side but they are on inkind!

I was craving something healthy in Cherry Creek and decided to try TFK. I was impressed by the variety of affordable organic options and fresh juices on the menu. Despite being busy on a late Sunday morning, the wait was short. The front staff, however, seemed a bit overwhelmed. There were three hosts working--one of them in training--and their process of calling out guest names without taking phone numbers felt inefficient, especially when they struggled to locate people on the waitlist. Once seated, service improved significantly. Our server was attentive, and our order was taken promptly. We opted for a patio table to enjoy the beautiful weather. I ordered the Rancher's Hash, which came with eggs, grass-fed beef, sweet potato, avocado, tomato, and peppers. The flavors blended nicely, though it was on the salty side, so consider asking for no added salt if you're sensitive to that. Overall, the food and atmosphere made for a great experience. I'll definitely return to try more dishes next time.

Immediately when you walk in the food smells amazing. It can be busy so be prepared for the environment to be a bit busy. Service was great and the food tasted delicious. Only a 4 since the bun of my burger was soggy.

I love this menu, very innovative. I came in for a quick lunch and it was busy. I tried the edamame dumplings and they were very good. It is garnished with white truffle oil, dashi, thai basil, and sesame seeds I will need to try to make a copycat version at home. I also ordered a salad. Service was good and fast. Casual. Please come and create your own adventure.

Out of town review. I don't have true food kitchen where I live, but I've been to one when I was visiting Austin so I was glad to see that they had one in Denver so I can eat here again. I ordered the edamame dumpling with white truffle oil. Honestly, this was the one dish that I was looking forward to to the most. It left a memorable impression on me last time. Along with the dumplings, I had an iced Matcha Horchata drink and I ordered the crispy chicken salad that I think was one of their seasonal menu items. They weren't super busy today and we were well attended on by our server. This place is a little pricey, but you can taste the quality in the ingredients. This is in the downtown area of Cherry Creek so you can either park on the street or in some of the lots. Kid friendly with high chairs and changing stations in the bathroom. Overall, 4/5 stars

    Christine N.

I came with a pretty large group of 12 people so they had to split us into two separate tables, which was fine. It made splitting the check easier. I ordered the jambalaya pasta. The flavor and proteins were really good, but the pasta was a little overcooked so they were a little mushy. It didn't stop me from finishing my plate though, so there's that lol. The server was really nice and pretty prompt. If you're looking for tasty eats without feeling too guilty, then I'd recommend going here.

We had an amazing dinner at Local Jones (LJs) at the Halcyon Hotel, visiting on the second night of their new menu, and they absolutely nailed it. Our party of four was impressed from start to finish. The staff was outstanding--knowledgeable, prompt, and attentive without ever hovering. It felt like they truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. The food was excellent across the board. My New York strip was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The rest of our group loved their dishes just as much--the mussels, shepherd's pie, and braised short ribs all got rave reviews. It's not often that four totally different entrées are all home runs, but LJs pulled it off. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. We will definitely make LJs a regular stop whenever we're in Denver. Highly recommend!

The price was a bit high, but the quality of the meal was spot on. I had the seared scallops with celery root puree, pomegranate seeds, cous cous, and toasted hazelnuts. Divine. My husband had the filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce, and roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also amazing. Both dishes per cooked to perfection. All employees were professional and our server was friendly. The atmosphere was lovely--clean, warm, inviting. It was an interesting journey to find the bathroom. It's shared with other parts of the building and was the only thing that needed attending. Four stars for the messy bathrooms, price being quite high, and it was a 2 hour and 45 min dinner. Took forever. I've never had so many glasses of water in my life in such a short period of time. If you can afford it, I would certainly say the food was almost worth it--desserts were just okay, and one of the appetizers was alright.

By now, average foodies have experienced what Culinary Dropout is all about and yet I humbly and honestly admit the fact that I was a virgin until I for the first time experienced it today on July 16, 2026. In a way, it was like celebrating a super belated birthday of someone I know. This Denver location is rightfully located in this one of the newly developed residential areas that used to be a desert (lol!!) With a blink of an eye, all sorts of businesses popped up within the last 5-10 years or so. First and foremost, what a spacious restaurant this is! Very modern with some casual sense but upscale at the same time. All 5 of us were taken all the way back to the u-shaped booths that is at the "Converse sneaker" decorated wall near the restrooms. Our waiter was John. His impeccable friendliness with expert-level server skills was quite notable. His timeliness in giving us a moment or two so we could decide what to drink/eat, checking back on us to see how everything was tasting etc. was almost AI-driven accuracy. For food and drinks, I am just going to speak just for myself. I got... -Vida Verdita which is a non-alcoholic cocktail that has a good amount of kick in it with pineapple with green appearance and -Roasted Salmon; the portion is a bit small and yet overall it tasted good with perfect medium-ness. Vida Verdita is one of the best NA drinks I've ever had in a while. This minimal consequence beverage is $9 as of mid-July 2026. If you want to steer clear of being drunk but want some energized push to get your night going then I highly recommend this NA drink. Roasted Salmon, on the other hand, was lacking exceptional quality for the price of $31. It wasn't bad as it was prepared in the perfect medium texture but I found it a bit boring so if spending $30+ on a mediocre plate is your pet peeve, then this "run of the mill" dish should be avoided. I feel that they should add more ingredients such as broccolini (yes, something green (not just some cilantro leaves) needs to be added to the plate.) In conclusion...did I walk away being super impressed after dining at Culinary Dropout Denver tonight? No, not really. And yet I wasn't disappointed either. Overall, my experience tonight sits somewhere between 3.5 and 4 star level. It was an occasion for our monthly "girls' get-together" and it's my understanding that we will meet at this place next month again. I will thus explore more on the menu by trying something different.

I'm glad our first experience ended up being at the Denver location because it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant has a more upscale feel than a lot of places around Denver, but it's still comfortable and welcoming. We started with the grilled artichokes, which were outstanding. They're a fun appetizer to share and pick at while waiting for your entrées, and the dipping sauce was incredible. For my main course, I ordered the cheeseburger with the coleslaw, and it was fantastic. I've been on a mission to find the best restaurant cheeseburger in Denver, and this one immediately jumped near the top of my list. The burger was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and the coleslaw was a great complement. My fiancée ordered one of the salads and really enjoyed it as well. For dessert, we couldn't pass up the brownie. Since it was my birthday, they added a candle to the scoop of ice cream on top, which was a thoughtful touch. The brownie itself was rich, warm, and absolutely top-tier. As someone who loves a good brownie, this one delivered, especially with the nuts on top adding a little extra texture. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our water glasses were constantly refilled before they got low, and one detail that really stood out was when they replaced my martini glass with a freshly chilled one so my drink stayed cold throughout the meal. It's those little touches that make a restaurant memorable. Overall, this was an outstanding birthday dinner, and we can't wait to come back. There were several dishes we want to try, including the Hawaiian ribeye, the barbecue ribs, and more of the salads. As for the bruschetta, like I mentioned, they are all good, even the ones that aren't my personal preferances they stiill aren't bad, but my absolute favorite is the artichoke. I usually get two of them because it is so creamy and delicious. I also like the salami a lot, probably my second, and the lox/salmon is good, too. PS, you can also recork your bottle if you aren't a pro wine drinker for the board & bottle special. It's truly a no-brainer for the price to go ahead and get that bottle and 4 slices for a mere $25. I've tried a few other things here, as well, I can't say anything bad! And the place is often packed so that says a lot.

My friend also ordered the salad with the candied walnuts, and when it came out, it had barely any toppings. She almost was too shy to say something, but I spoke up for her and the kitchen remade her salad with no issue, luckily, it was much better the second time around Our server was super sweet and attentive. I don't think we got a name though. Thank you for a nice time!

Went for my birthday, had a reservation for 8pm on a Tuesday. Didn't get sat till 830. The staff…read moreapologized but thought that to be sort of ridiculous with a reservation. They gave us meatballs in apology which were probably the best thing we had. The table bread was very good too but everything else mediocre. Yellowtail appetizer was not quality fish. Pasta was very overpriced for what it was. I got the rock shrimp crestedish. My noodles were overcooked and mushy. How do you overcook noodles in a $40 plate at a high scale Italian restaurant. Sauce was meh, not very flavorful. My boyfriend got the spicy lobster rigatoni which was good and had fair amount of lobster but once again for the price, did not blow my mind. Overall, overrated spo

I went to bed thinking about my meal here and woke up thinking about the review I was going to…read moreleave. I feel like everyone and their mother has been here - and for good reason. Starting with my favorite and the absolute knockout: The Dry-Aged Bistecca Agnolotti. Think of a ravioli pouch, but smaller and better, filled with meat, sitting in a bed of the most perfectly browned brown butter with thick parmesan shaves on top. You think it's over, and then your server comes and pours a sweet yet vinegary reduction on top. I'm actively eating it for breakfast as I write this. Insane. Will be thinking about this for a few days. The others in the group got the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which is one of their most popular dishes. It was good (we swapped bites), but mine was better. For the table we split a Caesar (which I do wish had more dressing, but I love a dressing so that could just be me), filet mignon meatballs (4 in an order which was perfect for our group of 4), and the tuna and avocado carpaccio. Favorites were the meat and fish. We used the bread to sop up the meat sauce at the end. Lastly, the Chicken Parm Pizza was ordered for the table. Basically, the "crust" of the pizza is chicken parm. I think it's a little expensive for what it was, but I'm glad I got to try it with a bigger group. Can't imagine reordering it, solely for the size and cost, but it was a unique food experience. Drinks at the table included a Barbera, a Chardonnay, a Sangria, and a Spritz. All good. Overall, service was great, restaurant is beautiful, dishware is pretty, and vibes are sophisticated yet unpretentious. You will be walking 40 days and 40 nights to the bathroom though, which is outside the restaurant, through the hotel, down the stairs, and through the hallway. Can't wait to return!!!
