The Flower Farm went beyond the call of duty with our wedding flowers. I wanted "tropical" arrangements within a certain budget and when other flowers vendors laughed at me, Koa said "great!" and provided me with everything I needed+more. He was organized, punctual (and we had 2 locations for delivery!) and the flowers were stunning. Please see the pictures I've uploaded! It was such a pleasure working with Koa on our wedding! His experience and professionalism shine through and he had great suggestions for us. We went for the non so traditional Hawaii wedding and wanted more of a country theme. Lots of Sunflowers and Lillie's and he was even able to get us some Billy Balls (cute round flowers). A lot of the flowers he uses are grown on his property so you can be assured the quality will be high with minimal handling. The prices for the amount of arrangements we required was quite reasonable. He also build us a nice wooden arch to our liking including the stain color we were looking for. Koa and the folks at Flower Farm were awesome to deal with and I never had to worry about them. I cant say enough good things about Koa and Annmarie at Flower Farm! I got married this June and booked Koa INSTANTLY after seeing his work almost a year before. I had previously worked at a florist for 6 years prior to moving to Hawaii, so, of course, I knew exactly what I wanted, and about how much it was going to cost. Koa shocked me with his price! (Peonies, out of season, ranunculus, orchids, roses...for THAT?! No can!) Not only that, he was the more chill, relaxed person ever. He is straightforward and puts you at ease. He delivered them to Kualoa Ranch (Molii Gardens) at no charge, and even drove my hair flowers to the place where I was getting ready - again, no charge. Brides, you know that this NEVER happens! Flower Farm Inc. was one of the best experiences we had planning our wedding. We got married about a year ago and went to Oahu for a week to do the planning. We had 3 florists on the list, but when we met Koa and Annmarie we were hooked! We met them at their house and looked over tons of photographs to pick out the items and the look that we wanted. We talked and laughed for hours. They were even nice enough to take us out in their back yard to meet the neighbors and see the place where we were getting married. By the end of the appointment, I wanted them to join us at the wedding! The day of our wedding, a hurricane was coming into Oahu. My husband and I were stubborn that the weather was going to hold up for us. Koa was out at the site setting up hours and hours in the rain! It was gorgeous and I still have people talking about flowers at our wedding a year later. We got lucky and the weather was great! He added extra details that were just beautiful and more than I could have hoped for. He was the best to work with and I can't recommend him enough! Koa and his awesome wife are the best!!! In fact they brought me to tears on our wedding day, because I walked into the most beautiful room which had the floral I could only dream of and was met by two of the most amazingly helpful and heart warming people you could dream of working with!! Our flowers were so vibrant and bright that the room was lit up, and when I was running around trying to get things organised his wife took the hurricanes out of our hands, filled them with sand and took care of our patio at the Ihilani too! (She was worried about my nails! Amazing!) As well I was super worried as I had left the groomsmen to take care of the guest, bridal party and our leis for the ceremony, and he actually separated each one in named boxes so they couldn't mess up! If I had booked them from the beginning I would have had a much easier wedding! However I booked originally with Watanabe, who tried to change planners 4 times and never got the gist of my tropical floral plan! Luckily, Juliana Chaize my incredible hair and makeup vendor suggested I use Koa! Thank Goodness!! Thanks to Flower Farm, I had the most incredible wedding with the most beautiful tropicals! I can't say enough wonderful things about Flower Farm. Planning a destination wedding is difficult enough, but when you have called four florists (including the florist at the hotel where you're getting married) and NO ONE calls you back, it can be downright infuriating. Enter Koa at Flower Farm. Not only did he call me back, but he gave me the most beautiful flowers I could ever hope for and at an amazingly generous price. From the start, Koa was helpful, organized and an absolute sweetheart to work with. He didn't laugh at me when I told him I didn't have colors for the wedding and instead helped me to figure out exactly what I wanted. Being that I don't live in Hawaii, I didn't get to see the flowers until the actual day, so of course, I was a little nervous. On my wedding day, Koa and his wife hand delivered all of the leis for the ceremony as well as my bouquet TO OUR CONDO. He then went and set up the most beautiful chuppah on the beach anyone has ever seen. If you have ever tried to find a chuppah in Hawaii, you'll understand what an amazing feat this is. After, he set up the reception room and I can't say enough how beautiful the centerpieces were. The colors were bright and vibrant but not tacky in the least and he made such beautiful use of local flowers. I find that flowers can really enhance the beauty of a wedding. I met with Koa, from Flower Farm Inc and simply told him my vision: which was my main wedding colors are burnt-orange/copper with gold accents and I want the flowers to have the wedding colors but to really add color. I told Koa that I wanted colors of yellows, oranges and dark reds; but I wanted the colors to look alive. Because I had 30 children coming to my wedding, I didn't want the flowers to be in tall vases. Besides, while the tall glasses of vases are beautiful, guests have to stretch their neck to look around to see guests across the table or the program occurring in the front. I left my vision in the hands of Koa and excitedly waited for my wedding day. On the day of my wedding, I saw everything I imagined. A little bit of copper/burnt orange and mounds of flowers of yellows, oranges and reds. It was exactly how I wanted my flowers. Every guest complimented the beauty of the bouquet. Not only did Koa contribute to the beauty of my wedding day, but he also helped me resolve a delicate matter. Because single ladies are a minority with my circle of friends and I didn't want to embarrass the few single ladies, I decided to pass the bouquet. Even though my sister was my Maid of Honor, because she lives in San Francisco, my cousin stepped up to the plate to help me with many of the wedding details. When I told my sister that I would be passing my bouquet to our cousin, my sister became really upset. I called up Koa and explained the situation regarding the bouquet. I didn't know how bouquets are bundled or crafted, but I wanted a way to nicely divide my bouquet so that I could give both ladies my bouquet. Koa made my bouquet so that it could separate, without breaking the visual appeal of my bouquet. Koa provides excellent customer service, always makes himself available to answer questions (at the very least he responds to calls), and takes the time to listen to visions and needs of his client. I always tell all my friends about Koa at Flower Farm Inc because he really is wonderful! I know that I told you that you really made our wedding beautiful but I can't tell you enough that you made our wedding beautiful! Thank you for seeing the vision that I had in mind: the mixture of vibrant colors on the copper really came out and made the ambiance beautiful. Working with Koa was such a positive experience! The flowers for our Jan. 2 2014 wedding were absolutely stunning. Flower Farm was recommended by a family member who also used them for their wedding and we could not have been happier with the experience. I met with Koa about six months before the wedding and asked him for purple orchids. I sent him a few photos of inspiration. I live in California and we had a destination wedding in Hawaii so it is really hard to book vendors without meeting them. Koa was kind enough to squeeze us in his busy schedule last minute to meet with us when we went to Hawaii for our tastings to go over details.
