Maria is so patient with me and done such good work on my teeth she never upsold me when you sit down for a cleaning like most Dentist do she gave me a treatment plan we stuck to it and we did it and it's amazing. However 1-Don't shame medi-cal patients. trust me, no one WANTS to use Denti-cal, to shame them is redundant and useless. 2- Don't shame someone for for not visiting the dentist often enough. Maybe, just maybe, their last experience was SO painful, it took them years to go back. 3-If you're in the dental or medical field, people are coming to you in need of help, most times in pain. Not very happy at all. I went in for first time since my dds changed and I was forced to get another. The lady dds was rough ass hell. Not very friendly and didn't talk to me really. I had to re call the office to figure out what was going on ? Only to find out when I call my insurance. Cus the dds office never answers phone. That ive been waiting a month for cleaning cus the dds supposedly sent a authorization. Yet my insurance never got anything. This dds office is all over the place. And the dds doesn't seem to very nice. So that was first n last time going. I'm gonna change it. Not a very good place. read more

I'm a BIG baby when it comes to the dentist. That being said, I am thee WORST at going at all. Well we all know what eventually happens when you don't go on a regular basis. So I found Dr. Rotter when I was having a particularly painful dental crisis. Her staff was professional and treated me with every kindness. I didn't feel judged for my obvious lack of dental attention. Furthermore, Dr. Rotter was SO good that my procedure was over before I knew it and I didn't even need any pain killers after. went in for just a cleaning and Dr. Rotter told me that I needed a deep cleaning (which is more expensive) I insisted on sticking to the basic cleaning that was covered under my insurance she then insisted over and over trying to pressure me into things out of my insurance coverage and when I declined she told me not to waste her time. I went along when Dr Rotter took over, yet I wanted to see what other dentists had to offer. I searched for two years only to find myself back with Dr. Rotter and her friendly staff. Upon my return the doctor did a complete exam, took the time to explain, in words I could understand, the reasoning of her diagnosis; her staff presented a plan that worked with my insurance as well as my schedule.
