I was asked, at the last minute, to decorate for a friends' 50th birthday party, I called Flowers by Priscilla around 4:30 on a Friday to see if there was any chance I could get a couple of flower arrangements for the next day, Saturday, by 6 pm. Priscilla answered the phone at the shop and before I knew it we were brainstorming about the party. Priscilla asked what kind of things my friend likes and what she does for a living. Priscilla explained what props she had at the shop that she could use to customize the flower arrangements. We figured out where I might but some stuff Saturday morning that she could incorporate into the arrangements. We even ended up coming up with a name for a signature drink for the party! You'd think that after four kids, I'd have this prom-thing down. But no. I actually thought my son would order his own flowers IN ADVANCE for the junior prom since he's a senior and this isn't his first rodeo. Bad mom. And of course the DAY OF PROM I get a text from Mr. I-Don't-Need-Your-Help-Mom-Until-I-Do asking me to "pleeeeaaaaaasssse get his girl friend's prom flowers" and oh, by the way, here's a text pic of what they should look like... Pricilla is not just an extremely talented and creative florist, but a wonderful person. I have always loved all the pieces she has made for us over the years. Today she excelled in another way. My son forgot to order flowers for his senior prom tonight, but she helped us out. My son only texted me this morning that he needed flowers. Pricilla was too busy to take any last minute orders, but she let me watch her make a bouquet and sold me flowers and the materials to create on. I can't tell you how grateful we are to her for her kindness and understanding. Flowers by Pricilla were a life saver for me! I was in the Philadelphia area from Denver visiting my sister who had surgery and I needed flowers in a hurry. I walked into Flowers by Pricilla and asked for an arrangement to take with me to the hospital. Pricilla was buried in work for an upcoming graduation for that afternoon and was so kind to stop what she was doing and make up a beautiful arrangement for me. We had a fantastic experience working with Priscilla on the flower plans for our October 2015 wedding. She is so creative and had a variety of fantastic suggestions to transform our venue into our vision. We absolutely loved the bouquets and corsages for the wedding party and our family, I received so many compliments on my bouquet in particular. At the church, we had 10 large mums placed on the stage that were turned on their side to create a dramatic effect, this looked AMAZING in photos! Go to Flowers By Priscilla! I can 't recommend them highly enough. The flowers are fresh and beautiful. She has the usual flowers that other florists do but she also has other unique offerings too. The service is great and they could not be nicer people. I ran in there the other day at the last minute to pick up some flowers for a friend only to find that I had forgotten to bring any money! I was embarrassed to say the least but Priscilla was so kind and understanding. Within 10 minutes she put together the most gorgeous arrangement of huge fresh roses in hot pink, bright yellow and white and told me to just come back with the money as soon as I could! After meeting with several florists when planning for her wedding at Springton Manor Farm my daughter happily chose Flowers by Priscilla. The main reason was that she "listened" to us when discussing the venue and color scheme. Priscilla took it from there and the result was spectacular. My family and I have worked with Priscilla for at least 15 years. She did the floral arrangements my sister's wedding back in 2000 (may I just add that she delivered in 12 inches of snow)! I was wonderfully surprised by the service I received, a personal greeting from Bruno (the dog) and Priscilla and John could not have been nicer . I had called the day before because I was having trouble finding a florist who had palms, mind you I live in the city, you would have thought I could have been able to locate a florist. Priscilla did the flowers for my daughter's wedding. Amazing is the only way I can describe our experience from start to finish! I visited Flowers by Priscilla today to send off an arrangement to my sister-in-law who just had a baby. I was prepared to go through Teleflora since I was having it sent to California. Graciously, Priscilla provided me with the names and phone numbers of several florists in my sister-in-law's town that she felt would do a good job. FLOWERS BY PRISCILLA is OPEN - they have been OPEN all through COVID, their store is OPEN for ONLINE ORDERS, and for PICK UP/CARRY OUT ORDERS - but yes- they have not been able to hire in any support staff - and are not able to have customers come inside the store - hence the CLOSED signs . OPEN Tuesdays through Saturdays . They answer the phones when they can - but are working 55+ hours a week. read more
