I called to ask about a small bouquet, and the male who answered was very rude and spoke down to me. I was asking for a small bouquet of 6 tulips for a small ceremony on short notice. He was miffed and said bridal bouquets start at $175. I asked if that would be the case for a half dozen tulips. He repeated $175, his responses were short with a rude tone. I understand I was asking for a last minute request. However, there are polite ways to say they cannot accommodate what I'm asking. read more

I ordered flowers for my mom at 9am requesting for delivery that day but put a note if it wasn't today then tomorrow was fine because it wasn't time sensitive. I tried to order a simple live flower basket arrangement from this florist's website to be delivered to a local funeral home the night before the noon service. Since this required a quick turnaround, I checked the box to allow substitutions which their website recommend to avoid a delay. Got a phone call the next morning at 8 am which I couldn't answer but there was no message. No email either. Later I look up the number and it's this florist. I call them at 9:42 and they tell me that they didn't have the live plants I selected and they couldn't deliver to the funeral home once visitation starts at 10 am, but i could have flowers delivered to the address of family after the service. I called the funeral home to ask why they don't accept flower deliveries once visitation starts, and they said they do accept flowers during visitation. Hmmm. I called the other florist in town Aretz Designs at 9:59, they take my order and said they would have no problem getting the flowers to the funeral home before the service and that delivery during visitation hours is no problem. Flowers From The Rafters provided terrible service - a phone call, yes but no voicemail, no email to let me know of a problem - but worst of all, they lied to me about the local funeral home not accepting flowers during visitation. A simple "we cannot handle your order in this short timeframe" response would have been fine. I cannot recommend them. read more

The arrangement we received for a whopping $450 dollars was so small it was ridiculous and I found it highly offensive for such an occasion. The flowers themselves were beautiful but so not worth that kind of expense. read more
