We visited Floyd's on Saturday, sitting in the outside area connected to the open air bar. We were surprised at the number of guests who were not wearing a mask as they entered the bar to place their order and even more surprised that 5 of the 7 employees we saw were not wearing masks behind the bar, within the restaurant and walking past tables. We were also disappointed that they have not changed their business model and still require guests to place their drink order at the bar - thus creating a line vs. taking the drink order at the table as they do a food order. As a business owner who has strict requirements (mandated by the state), it is disappointing to see other businesses not follow this as it is mandated. The service and food were good, but Floyd's needs to keep up with the crazy-current times! read more

I went there for the first and last time today after golfing at Deer Run. Initially I was enjoying the atmosphere and the food. Their service is more bizarre than any place I've ever been. You have to go to the bar to get your drinks. They refuse to serve them to you at your table. When you order your food you are required to give a credit card to "start a tab". You are allowed to put your drinks on the tab when you go to the bar to get them. The waitress who served us our food left and when I tried to get the tab and have it split it up between the 2 groups on our bill the bartender messed it up. I got frustrated and was told by a different female bartender that I shouldn't expect anything better because this is a bar not a restaurant. well I can spend my money at a lot of other "bars" who are happy to give me good service. read more

We arrived at Floyd's at midnight with the intentions of having one more drink before heading home. The bouncer told us their was a $5 cover. Our group of 6 was shocked they were still charging a cover so late into the evening. After grabbing a drink and a table, we watched the bouncer remove the sign from the door and stop charging. We were literally in the bar for 10 minutes...and to make it even worse, the band stopped playing minutes later. Shitty move Floyd's. We will not be returning anytime soon. read more

Fun atmosphere. I prefer it in the summer on the outdoor, upper deck. Their food and tap list is great.

I find it very annoying that you charge a cover charge and can'teven hear the band in a joining rooms. And your burger blows, plus I can't believe you charget that much for fries. read more

Ok I am usually anti partying in the suburbs, especialy if it is far away from my house, but my friend lives two blocks from this place. I imagine she was a regular at some point. So, after hitting up a few boring bars in Eden Prairie, we headed here knowing we could just stumble home. It was a lot of fun; with a live band and actually a fairly good mix of people. I don't know if it was due to my drunken state, but the pizza we ordered at the end of the night hit the spot. It was hot, cheesy and delicious. When I make plans to go to Floyd's, my friends always look at me like a crazy person when I tell them it's in Victoria. However, everyone that I've taken to Floyd's has become a convert. I attended a nearby high school and many of our teachers would have whispered conversations about meeting up at Floyd's after classes on Fridays. So all of us of course were very curious about it and made it our mission to become regulars at this mystical place during Christmas breaks and summers when we were all home from college. I've been going to Floyd's for years now. Floyd's never fails to disappoint. It's a "townie" bar for sure, and you will see your share of grizzled Victoria locals, but there are a fair amount of younger people that come in on a regular basis as well. Floyd's is also frequented by affluent suburban moms and dads who want to escape their subdivisions for a night. This combination of folks makes for great people watching. There are two bars where you can get cheap drinks, and during warmer weather they open the patio with a separate bar and stage for local bands. Very nice place to sit out and enjoy the warm weather. One thing to note is that often on weekend nights you will have to pay a $3-5 cover, which I must admit is a little absurd in Victoria, Minnesota. This place is never not packed to the gills. If you like to listen to music, sing some karaoke, and enjoy cheap drinks in small town MN, Floyd's is for you. read more

This place takes me back to my college days, it's definitely a bar don't get it wrong and think it's a bar restaurant, they have GREAT food but it is a bar so you'll be sitting in a bar when you go. That being said the food is fantastic (get the cheese curds). They have a surprisingly large menu and some really cool items. Good burger type food! Fun outdoor casual dining with live entertainment. Just know that you need to order at the bar and your food will be run to your table, unless you are on the upstairs deck. Love the Blackened Walleye Tacos! read more

If I could give them negative stars I would! ! Food was terrible tonight! Ordered a juicy Lucy with waffle fries and potato soup. Everything was cold! The hamburger was not even fully cooked! Update: kids are now welcome until dark and on non-football game days! As you walk up you smell pot smokers, hear drunk locals cussing and yelling at 5PM on a Saturday, then see a welcoming sign on the door says no kids after 4PM, but we brought in our little girls anyway. We were not expecting a whole lot, maybe a black eye or a being hauled off in a squad car because someone didn't like my kids there and I would take offense. But the food...man. The food was to die for. The red snapper rueben was the best thing I've ever eaten between a bun or bread. I just ask to help us parents out a little, we still need to eat too... read more

Can't comment on the food, but service was terrible. I was completely ignored after being seated, even after making eye-contact with the server at the tables near mine. Not like they were busy... I have lived in the area many years and it's a shame how downhill service has gotten over the past couple of years. How can you run a food service business with no wait staff? No one to take drink orders, no one to take your food order, they drop your food at the table an run. No checking back to see if you got what you ordered, if you need anything else. Best bar and grill in the Southwest Metro area! This place is designed for real people, with real appetites, that enjoy real beverages, and like listening to great music. The owners have done a great job keeping this corner bar a place that welcomes all kinds but doesn't try to be everything to everyone. This is not a place for most families or those offended by the commentary and tattoos worn by the "average Joe". Expect to hear the growl of beautiful motorcycles. We usually go here at least twice a month. Love the atmosphere and a few of the employees are great! Just stopped there today (Saturday @ noon) and it was busy. We waited at the bar for 5 minutes and the bartender never even made eye contact with us. A couple at the bar left so we sat down and waited over 5 minutes again while the bartender again never made eye contact with us. She served 4 other people at the bar and a person standing right behind us. Being a former bartender and in the retail industry now, this is hard to understand. We finally walked out and went to Hopper's where the service is more consistent. PLEASE make sure your employees understand the importance of being aware of their customers even when they are busy. read more

I highly suggest avoiding this establishment - I was overcharged $16.00 on my credit card and unfortunately I did not catch this until a couple of days later and had already thown away my copy of my receipt. Looks like I had an experience close to Beverly P. Our server seemed to be having a private party in the corner of the garage with her friends. I had to ask her for a wet towel to clean off a table from the people before us. The only interaction she had with us is when she took our credit card to start a tab and gave us our first pitcher of beer. We had to find our own menus. Went to the bar tender to re order our beers. Yelled at the bar tender our food order. We got more interaction from the kid who delivered our food than from our server who only came back once more to pick up our empty pitchers of beer and asked "who do you think is gonna win the game"? It was a lame attempt to ingratiate herself at the very last moment before we paid our bill and tip her. We had to flag down the bartender to split our check into three which he couldn't do on his POS. We came here after a day of fishing to watch the Wild. In the end we couldn't make it past the first period so we left. I almost was thinking that I'd have to go up to their register and ring up my own sale since nobody else was gonna do it. I only live 4 minutes from these clowns and I'll never go back. One star it too much of a recommendation. read more

We went there on a Saturday evening for some food, drink, and music . . . what a mistake! There was no service, we had to order our own drinks at the bar (after waiting for 20 minutes), we even had to get our own water! Are you kidding?! The wait staff walked past us several times and we even tried to flag one down twice with no luck. We were there for almost 2 hours and had 1 drink (beer) each and the appetizer - NO service at all for anything else! We wanted dinner entrees but with no service, were we supposed to make them in the kitchen ourself?! When we complained about the service, the manager on duty said "if you want service go to McDonald's". We asked for the name of the GM or owner and hey refused to give it to us - we will NEVER go there again. At least at McDonald's we would have saved the $10 cover charge. read more

We visited Floyd's tonight. Have been there once before, but won't be going back any time soon. The food was great, no complaint there. But the service was HORRIBLE!!!!! Had to go to the bar to get a drink which can be ok, but there were 4 people behind bar and no one was willing to help. Had to ask for menus had to ask to place an order. Food was delivered, and was good. No one happened to go by and see if we wanted anything else. If there is a manager on whatever level checks these reviews, something needs to be done. Had to go to bar twice to get our tab. I never did hear even a THANK YOU. I did not leave a tip, I NEVER do that. It was if we were an inconvenience for being there. Good luck. read more

The place is great for its "vibe" of "coolness" in having an eclectic clientele, ranging from those in bikers garb to those in plainly expensive casual wear, most all of whom are "boomers" or "millennial." However, the food is overpriced for its quality and on a weekend night may not be exactly what you ordered and or served st room trmp which should be served hot read more

It can be fun but it's just too much of a Country hick bar for me. The only thing I really like about the place is their outdoor patio where they have a cool little tiki bar. In the wintertime, this place is full of gross people inside and it gets really sweaty and packed. Just not my scene. read more
