My husband and I came here this evening for some ice cream and the service was SO NICE that I knew I had to leave a Yelp review. Whoever was working around 4:30-5 was so sweet and kind to us, I'm sad I didn't ask for her name to give her the proper shoutout! All the ladies were sweet, but the customer service of the woman in front with the dark hair stood out tremendously! Such a warm and welcoming energy. We just moved to the area and will definitely be visiting again.

Austin was amazing!!! he was really sweet! walked in and greeted with a warm welcome!!! i got the iced creme brule w boba and it was really good! my friend got the cookie and cream milkshake and she said it was really good as well! it was super cute inside the store as well! decor made the vibe way higher and happier :)

Love that we found a local place for bingsu - or I think it's listed on menu as "bing snow" - but basically very fluffy, light and airy shaved ice - definitely distinct from Hawaiian shaved ice that I've had - both amazing in their own ways. Just the right amount of sweetness. Loved the fresh mango!

So we arrived here about 8:00p after eating dinner nearby on a Thursday. This is located in Alicia Town Center at the corner of Alicia Parkway and Paseo de Valencia, where Ralphs is. I was a bit confused as it's called Fluffy Bear on Yelp, but the storefront has a "Pengo Drink Station & Ice Cream" sign (the window has a big "Fluffy Bear" sticker sign). On Pengo's website, it shows as one of Pengo's location, but doesn't say anything about "Fluffy Bear." It's "Pengo x Fluffy Bear" on Instagram, "Fluffy Bear Soft Serve" on Facebook...and who knows what other aliases they go by, lol. Anyhoo, I guess this Pengo location serves soft serve and bing snow, hence, Fluffy Bear? I wasn't feeling the soft serve or bing snow so I opted to get the taro brûlée from the crème brûlée series ($6.95). Hubs got the oreo brûlée ($6.95) with honey boba ($1.00), and everyone else got soft serve ($5.95), with or without a taiyaki cone ($1.99). Not sure if this is the norm, but there were only two flavors of soft serve. Vanilla and flavor of the week, which was mango. One got vanilla, the other got mango, and two got the swirl (both flavors swirled together). The taiyaki was warm and good, as were both soft serve flavors. My taro brûlée was okay. There wasn't a hug difference between the oreo so I initially I thought they mistakenly put boba in the wrong flavor. There were also clumps of heavy cream or something fatty that I'd suck up from time to time, which wasn't pleasant. Service was nice and fairly fast, but not sure if we just came at an off night or what, but I wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be.

I love this spot! Fluffy Bear is a very cute place with very fun and tasty treats! I got strawberry snow with ice cream, it had chopped strawberries and it was overall very, light and sweet! I also ordered a Pengo drink and those are always the best! There is seating inside and it's located within a plaza, so there's plenty of parking There is cute artwork inside for some insta shoots!

All I gotta say is TARO SNOW with the little mochi pebbles on top. Who's the master mind that created this and brought it to Fluffy Bear? You deserve a million golf claps and your own theme song. All the fluffy snows are amazing. The peach one, mango, strawberry.... If you're reading this Captain Fluffy Bear, please have a mechanic on standby when your snow machines go down, cause I cry a little bit inside when they're not working. I'm not going to hate cause you guys were smart enough to add a back up to your menu like the soft serves! The cookies and cream with matcha soft serve is something out of this world. So good! I have yet to try something on the menu that wasn't a party in my mouth. This place is great! 5 stars forever! read more

This is the best soft serve icecream shop ever! Unlimited Toppings- Woow woow and wooow! Finally got a chance to stop by Fluffy Bear after seeing so many of my friends got their icecream from here. Fluffy Bear has such a cute and unique menu. Not just only serving Icecream, they also have such a good variety flavor of Milkteas with Boba, Milkshakes and Icecream Floats. *** Icecream (10/10) I got Taro Icecream and its delicious. I can taste the strong flavor of the Taro as well as the creamy texture of the soft serve. I top it off with coconut, sprinkles. Yummyy *** Fresh Cone (10/10) I noticed that Fluffy Bear makes their cones from the scratch. I had the Black Charcoal cone and its so so good. Very crispy and fresh. They also have Matcha Cone, Cinnamon Cone and Red Velvet Cone. *** Price: (9/10) Very reasonable for unlimited toppings and high quality icecream *** Customer Service (9/10) Very friendly and very patient. This place is so trendy! Simple menu with great flavors! You can pick a cup, cone, or both! They have boba and milkshakes! I got a cup with cookies and cream with the charcoal cone on top and it was really creamy and delicious. You have the option to have unlimited toppings when you order or when you are running out. The environment is super aesthetic and fun. Make sure to take a bunch of pictures when you get there! Definitely would recommend! read more

I came during their soft opening. They gave a discounted price for their soft opening which was $3.50. I'm not sure how much a discount was given but around $5 would be a fair price. They had 3 flavors when I came (match, taro, and cookies and cream). You can get a regular cone, charcoal cone, or a plastic cup (They're all the same price). The soft serve tastes great! But the cone starts to drip pretty quickly. They should probably add chocolate to the bottom of their cones to prevent the soft serve from dripping on your lap. So definitely grab an extra napkin or ask for a cup if you don't want the cone to drop on your clothes. Their are also toppings you can add to the cone like fruity pebbles, matcha powder, or cookies and cream powder. Super cool that Laguna Hills is getting a trendy food place. read more

Just found a new dessert shop favorite! This is a fairly new business and the quality of the dessert and customer service was amazing already--not to mention that the whole shop has a cute aesthetic look for photo-ops. All of their ice cream flavors were great, but I really recommend the matcha-oreo swirl in the charcoal cone :) Definitely coming back! read more

I highly recommend coming here if you're a fan of soft serve , Nor ice cream in general. The atmosphere is very modern & the staff was very friendly. If you're a very photogenic person , I recommend taking photos in the light up hallway leading towards the bathroom. read more

Loved it! We ordered 2 fluffy bing snows. First was the milk tea snow with taro soft serve and mochi. The second was the coffee snow with taro/cookies 'n cream and mochi. I was expecting shaved ice type but the fluffy snow was amazing. I thought it would melt super fast being so fluffy but it held up well with the hot weather. The drizzle of condensed milk wasn't to overly sweet and adds an extra layer of creamy. We will definitely come back to try the other flavors. read more

After driving by this place and seeing the name, and all the different options (ice cream, floats, milkshakes, milk teas), I knew I had to try it! Me and my husband have been here twice in 3 days now It's so good! Probably our new favorite milk tea place! It's so cute and I love that they have floats! That seems pretty unique for a milk tea place. I'm obsessed with the Thai floats. I want to try something different next time, but the Thai tea is just sooo good! Highly recommended ! read more

Nice to have a unique Asian dessert place which serves soft serve icecream in your choice of freshly made Japanese Taiyaki, or fish shaped waffle cone, or a bubble type cone, in south county! It is in a combined location with Pengo. Great selection of toppings which include both standard sprinkles, Oreos, kiwi etc and Asian choices such as lychee, dragonfruit et al. While not as slick of an operation as Somi Somi to the north in Irvine, this Pengo x Fluffy Bear combo still has much to offer with its large menu which also includes hot food and Asian tea and coffee drinks beyond just your average boba tea. read more

This place is hidden in a plaza. We got some ice cream treats for the kids and iced coffees for the adults. It was sweet and yummy. The store itself was kind of old and dirty- it could use a little make over. We didn't really want to sit down in the store, so we took our treats to-go. read more

I'm here for the soft opening and if service and quality keep up the way it is right now, this place is going to be very popular. Their taro soft serve is hands down the best I've ever had. I initially got matcha but after trying my mom's taro, I bought the taro. The workers noticed and immediately offered to refund me (but my mom actually just requested another taro soft serve). They are so accommodating and kind here and the place is kept very clean! Will definitely be back in the future!! read more

Fluffy Bear is AMAZING. Shave ice cream is sooo hard to find these days, and Fluffy Bear beyond delivers. My personal favorite is the Taro Snow. Store - super cute and fun ambience, and even with things roped off is still easy to take pictures in! Service - so kind and efficient without rushing the customers at all! We first asked for a mango snow, but the cashier kindly recommended we try the pineapple (which wasn't on the menu) and we LOVED it! Totally enhances the experience when the staff is invested in your order :) Food - LOVED it!! The "snow" was a perfect consistency, and maybe the pineapple is seasonal but the flavors were perfect. Disappointed with this overly advertised shop ! The matcha ice cream was no where near a matcha flavor nor the black sesame ice cream as well. The price is too high for this quality of ice cream. It won't last in that small strip mall where kids hang out, with such high priced deserts. The toppings were messy as it was just patted on sides when they'll drop all over. read more

Heard about this new soft serve ice cream place in this area. Too bad it wasn't open yet during summer. Their matcha soft serve is delicious. You can really taste the matcha flavor. Updating my review. I decided to give this place another chance as my nieces were visiting and enjoyed the aesthetic of the place. My husband and I were discussing outside about our last experience. I went in to order for the kids and someone approached him who happened to be the owner. He told me he explained what happened and she was apologetic and informed us that she has new staff. I was unaware that she was speaking to him but later found out she gave us a discount to make up for the experience last time. I appreciate the effort. Their drinks and desserts are good, it was just the terrible customer service. This time around, friendly staff and patient to get all 7 orders from kids. Will go here again! read more

Ordered the brown sugar boba soft serve with a charcoal cone, SO damn good! Love all the topping options, love that the serving size was huge, my husband got a taro smoothie and ate the rest of mine because it was such a huge serving. We both thoroughly enjoyed our desserts! They do a military discount and their prices are really great. Decor is adorable inside, cute for insta pics ;) only thing that annoyed me was if you wanted to try a sample you had to go try it outside loool. Covid.. I get it.. but we were the only people in there, with masks on and they are behind a huge plexiglass sooo idk about the logic there but everything Else was great! read more

I'm sure I was there only 10 minutes, seemed like 30. I was too angry after the cutting, not being acknowledged and all the employees going in the back when there's still people in line so I left. Was I invisible? WTF

It really rubbed me the wrong way because I saw a shift in customer service. Again, I understand that young adults are probably not taking their job seriously. It didn't feel good seeing other people experience different customer service . That happen twice when another couple came in while we sat inside to eat. Would come back for the gelato.

Parking is always easy to find although on busier nights, you'll have to park quite far and wait in a longer queue. I've only been here once during the day and there isn't much shade provided for the seated area. Honestly there isn't much seating in general which I can understand due to the way the location is. It would be ideal to improve the seating, if possible. Two tables with no umbrella/shade isn't appealing during hot summer days and you're stuck eating ice cream in the car.

First off, we're a bit "ice cream" snobs. From shaved ice, fresh churned to soft serve we love it all. (If it's great quality) This Korean inspired shaved ice spot was perfect and exceeded expectations. The prices were reasonable and the flavors and combinations were fantastic. We were in town for a brief few days and stopped by numerous times. The shaved ice or "snow cream" was fantastic. Think this is what flavored snow would taste like! The flavor was not added on top but actually was the snow. We tried Taro (mix between a hint of vanilla and fruity pebbles) and strawberry (which had a very sweet strong strawberry flavor).. The portion sizes are huge for the price and you are full by the time you're to the bottom. I used to go Snow 2 Go nearby but their wait so long. They also have Boba drink which i can stop by instead of ShareTea , DingTea, or Lollicup. We ahave tried the Taro Milk tea which was delicious! We will be back again and again. We stopped by for the first time as a break on our 20 mile bike ride and we're so impressed! Anna, Jade and Noel are so wonderful and we witnessed them conduct such a compassionate civic duty. This is probably my favorite ice cream place in Laguna Hills. They just updated their full menu with milkshake and float drink. They also added boba and mochi as the add-on.
