It's my time to visit Krak Boba after countless times walking by. I am glad that I finally stopped in. They have quite a list of fruity tea and milk teas, with or without boba balls. The team was very efficient in making them. We enjoyed our drinks quickly even though we ordered about a dozen items. We enjoyed games on the table and had a great time.
My favourite spot for boba! Whenever I come to Irvine I HAVE to get a drink from here. They do their boba so well, but I can't tell exactly what it is that makes this place so good. In particular I think they do their fruit drinks super well. I've had a bit of their other menu, but those are the standouts. The fruit combos and spritz work well together, and I love the bubbly feeling in my mouth when I drink it. Their milk teas are also good but can get a bit sweet depending on what you're ordering. The shop itself is also really nice and modern, with many things to do. There's game machines, board games, card games - plenty to do if you're looking for a nice place to hangout.
I had been seeing Krak Boba on social media and from friends' posts recently. I totally forgot we had one close by, so curiosity got the best of me. We've been a handful of times now. It's nice having more and more Asian joints popping up further south past Irvine. Krak Boba, is in the same lot as Simply Pho and Island Pacific, on El Toro and Rockfield, in the city of Lake Forest. Walking into the space, you'll find a fun and chill atmosphere where you can lounge with friends, play some chess, card games, jenga, or the claw machines that have been showing up at these boba joints. The space is well lit, open and comfy. I stayed for a while with the kids but didn't get to stay as long as I had wanted to. We'll hangout longer next time. They offer bags of chips for purchase at the register, as well as gift cards and some cute tumblers for drinks. Staff had smiles on their faces, were very friendly and patient. What we've ordered; 1) krak coffee with taro cream - strong, decadent and so good 2) krak signature milk tea - I've had this with matcha cream, 25% sweet, light ice with coffee jelly. I LOVE this drink in this version 3) krak signature milk tea - light ice, 25% sweet with coffee jelly. Nothing else added. This is also so very good just like this. Not overly sweet while getting a taste of that good milk tea I definitely have a lot of other flavors to try and do plan on it. I'll just have to order two drinks and have them throughout the week since I can never finish them at one time. I'm looking forward to bringing the family again to sip and play. Thanks for such a chill place to be.

Looks like a good place to relax while drinking your boba and not be in a rush. They have table games that can be played and I see groups of people playing and having a nice time. Our order was done pretty quickly. I got the King/ Queen brûlée blended. It has the right amount of sweetness and gets me sipping continuously. The boba was nicely made too. Soft, warm and a bit chewy!
The drinks at Krak are always tasty. I usually order it on the app for pickup. When i don't want to have caffeinated drinks I have plenty of options to choose from. The staff would have my drinks ready for pickup. The store is bright and encourage to spend time hanging out at the store. They provide some games to play if you want to enjoy the drink and time with others at the store. They also added a few claw machines if you would like to try your skills at some prizes.
I saw Krak Boba on Yelp after a boba craving hit and found it was a good choice. It has a nice clean, modern interior with couches at the front, board and claw games making it a good place to hang out. The menu has a lot of fun drinks and decided on the taro twist. They were able to make it non-dairy with almond milk and no condensed milk. I think my selection of 50% sweet was smart since it was already pretty sweet. The boba was chewy but found there to be quite a few larger ice chunks in my drink. Overall, very good flavor and boba and quick service.
Whenever I go to a boba shop for the first time, I always get a regular milk tea with boba just to gauge the overall quality. This one is not bad! The boba itself is AMAZING. The tea was ok, a little watery and bitter but not a deal breaker. The cheese foam definitely helped to make it richer, especially once it dissolved into the tea. The place itself is really cool with lots of great artwork and tons of board games, so it's a great place to hang out. Decent wait time and customer service as well. Not the best bubble tea of my life but definitely up there! I will definitely be coming back to try their other flavors.
This review is based solely on the drink since I ordered ahead using the app and picked up in store. I ordered the Wintermelon tea and added boba. When I ordered ahead on the app I did not realize the drink also comes with aloe vera. I tried aloe vera in my drink once and was not a fan. When I drank my drink and noticed the aloe vera I was pleasantly surprised. The tea and aloe vera complement each other giving a nice fruitful refreshing taste. I do enjoy going to Krak Boba and their drink selection. This drink is $5.85 and boba is an extra $.90. I believe their drinks come in one size (24 oz). You can adjust the sweetness and ice levels to your liking.
Wow! I am so happy we came by to try this spot. It is so good! I usually have a hard time with boba spots because I know quality boba and this one definitely has it down. Third time here and same problem. A holes who park in the disabled spots, in between the disabled spots so no vehicles can park, etc. I'm sick of it. No you guys don't own the parking lot but put signs up in your store, tell the landlord, something l. I've complained about this and the workers there give deer in headlights look. There's better places around that someone like me can actually access. Pretty drinks, though. read more

first time visiting, and the surprising announcement I got was: we don't have Boba. So I asked how in the world can a Boba shop not have Boba? They answered, our shop opens at 10 and Boba takes an hour to an hour and a half to make. I didn't respond to him out loud, but I'm thinking to myself, your staff could be making Boba before you open, so that you would have Boba ready to serve when you open. So I wound up getting a signature milk tea with 25% sugar, and it is good, I'm not sure what is their signature thing about it, but it tastes good to me. Your mileage may vary. read more

It's Krak Boba. So lots of boba drinks. Love their taro cloud! They have other types of boba smoothies and other drinks! Service is good. Selection is good. The place has some chairs and tables, a sofa, some table games too! Yes, I can recommend this. read more

Awesome place to hang out! The boba tea was DELICIOUS! Definitely coming back! The drinks came out fast and were made to perfection! I ask the employee to make mine less sweet and she recommended 75% for mine! I'm glad she did! It was perfect:D read more

This place has a fun ambience. When you walk in you see the Artwork and lively employees. You see fun games to play with friends. The music is uplifting and energetic. The menu had something for everyone. I had the 50% sweetness citrus tea. Good to drink but just your average boba place. read more

Super good boba, and they have a great menu and the size isn't too small compared to other shops. When we walked in, we were greeted and had the chance to order right away. After ordering, we sat down and the really nice area they gave. They have a chess board, lots of board games, and some kind of vending machines. I recommend this place to people that not only want a great boba but a nice place to sit and relax while waiting for their boba or just chitchatting. read more

THE DRINK. - Strawberry Matcha Latte | My order stats: added boba for $0.85; large size; 50% sweet; light ice. Matcha had a bitter earthy taste, while the strawberry jam offered a sweet flare. I liked the boba which was soft & chewy. THE RETURN? Yeah, I'd come back to try other drinks. read more

Our favorite place to get boba in Lake Forest. Service is always friendly and drinks are made quickly. Never had issues the numerous times we've stopped by. Clean bathrooms and seating areas with games provided if you wish to play. Strawberry Snow smoothie is great for kids. I tired the Sunset Passion and really liked it. We also like how you can customize the sweetness and ice levels. When we're around the OC and are craving boba, we head to the nearest Krak location and the experience has been consistent no matter the location. read more
Gerard the barista is really chill, there's two people playing chess, that's my favorite board game! This is the family owned establishment. Our Family is getting a mango snow. The milk tea was good but didn't have a strong tea flavor. I prefer a stronger tea flavor but this was pretty mild. I'd really give this a 3.5. The boba was below average because the regular boba was clumpy and stuck together. Their service was great and they were able to modify my drink to adjust the sweetness level and they did half crystal boba and half regular! There wasn't anyone there but there were some tables to hang out both inside and outside which was nice. read more

We got Taro twist and Coco princess. Taro twist was 5/5 smooth and sweet. Coco princess was 4/5, first sip was not good, almost going to return but after shake and mix well- you will taste melted ice-cream and feel refresh. Definitely buy again and recommend you guys read more
A nice pick me up after getting a massage right next door (Twilight Massage). The inside is pretty cool and has plenty of space to chill with friends and play board games, esp since they have a large L-couch insidenear the entrance, and several tables. I've gotten the Matcha Storm as a go-to but definitely a plethora of goodies on the menu including food! read more

KRAK boba has easily become my favorite boba place - hands down! All their drinks are super good and their boba is cooked to perfection. My top two drinks are the Queen Brûlée (absolutely love the creme brûlée pieces!) & the Dragon Slayer! The strawberry matcha latte, matcha storm, and sunset passion are great runners up if I wanted to change my order! The service is always great - the workers provide amazing recommendations and I have not been disappointed with their recs! KRAK offers delivery, pickup, and curbside making it easier to try their drinks! I always take advantage of the curbside pick up and I have never had a problem with waiting long at all! Parking is limited right in front of the store - but there is a large parking lot connected! read more

I've been a longtime customer here, but this visit was really disappointing. I came in to pick up my order, and two employees were in the back flirting and laughing while one of them clearly saw me waiting and ignored me. I had to flag down another staff member just to get help. When I finally got my drink, the seal wasn't even attached properly, and it spilled everywhere when I tried to mix it. I've never had that issue before. The whole experience felt careless and unprofessional--definitely not the service I used to get here and most definitely not coming back. They had a valentines special when we came in - 14% off certain specialty drinks! We had the dragon slayer with lychee jelly. Delicious! Didn't stay to enjoy the games, but it was nice to see things like playing cards and scrabble to entice customers to linger and hang out. I can see it being a fun spot to study or just hang out for local middle/high schoolers. read more
My peers wanted to try out the boba in socal. We were on a work trip and all in my group were from either out of state or from nor cal. Although we have boba joints in our perspective towns we thought they might be better in SoCal. We were not wrong. I order the king brûlée. I doing like my dunks to sweet which the young lady said I can order it with a sweetness percentage. I was sold!!! They are super quick with the drinks and mine was delicious. The sweetness was just perfect and the boba pearls were yummy. I am definitely going to try Krak boba again whenever I'm in town. They also sale a mango chamoy boba which my coworker order and he said it was great. We all loved our drinks. read more
There are never enough boba/tea places to try I believe. I've been to krak boba around the OC many times and this is one located in Lake Forest. It's consistent with all the other locations and this place has a nice sized seating area and is open till 10pm which is great for south OC! Their Signature Milk Tea and King Brûlée is usually what I get here with boba and I think it's pretty decent. On a hot day getting their Sunset Passion was really nice and refreshing. It's basically a Mangonada. Add the Lychee Jelly to it and it unlocks a new flavor making it a little spicy, tart and very tropical. Great staff & drinks! My favorite drinks are Dragon Slayer, Strawberry Milk with lychee, and the seasonal hot chocolate. I can't wait for the winter season to arrive so I can have more of those hot chocolate. The owners are super sweet and hardworking people. Beautiful inside & kept tidy. read more
