I visited Chicago for work a few weeks ago and a friend took me to a newly opened Fluffy Bin my cafe for breakfast. You know what? If I had an option to give 10 stars, I would have. And then some! Everything was top notch -- the ambience, the friendliness and the professionalism of the staff, the taste and the presentation of the food, the flavor combination and the variety of drinks! And the Hunny Bunny syrniki are to die for! I haven't had such a great experience with the combination of quality of food and service on a while. I wish I lived closer-- I'd definitely become a regular. And for now I look forward to coming back and trying lunch options as they looked delicious too. read more

My husband and I stopped into Fluffy Bunny so that he could get some coffee. I decided to get a piece of cake for dessert after I had lunch at another restaurant. The coffee and cake were average tasting and were not all memorable. The worst thing was the price. Everything was so expensive. The coffee was $5.50 and the cake was $8.90. For the price, the product has to be better than it was. I ended up regretting skipping dessert at the restaurant I just came from. I will not be going back to Fluffy Bunny. read more

Sweet and charming breakfast cafe in Ravinia neighborhood called Fluffy Bunny. I don't know the reason behind the name, although it could be because there is an emphasis on freshly prepared, healthy food? I tried a mushroom latte (less caffeine, adaptogenic properties of mushrooms, more focus and energy) and it was great. My friend had a latte -- they serve organic Julius Meinl coffee. I tried an avocado Bay waffle -- with the vividest brightest salmon and greenest ripest avocado -- judging by the jewel like colors alone, this painterly breakfast was as beautiful as it was tasty. My friend enjoyed the Honey Bunny Syrniki, an Amish farmer cheese pancake (gluten free) with berries, which to me was a little like those jiggly Japanese soufflé pancakes. It was tasty and light and served in a bunny ear dish. There are bunnies in the decor, and the menu is named after bunnies. I don't know why but this sweet cafe is for every bunny. read more

The place is decorated well and the server was nice. But that's it. The coffee was cold, omelette and waffles were not made fresh and it was impossible to finish the meal. Ended up spending over 80$ for a meal we just couldn't eat. Find a local place that makes fresh food without the crazy price tag. read more

I wanted to like this place. My salad was good. My dining companion's waffle was good but came out cold. The big problem is she got her meal 15 minutes before I did. They seem understaffed or under trained. The place was not crowded, but it looked like one guy was doing it all. He brought me out the wrong drink, too. I think he was just overwhelmed. I don't live in the Chicago area though I visit every few months. If I lived there, I might give it another chance in hopes that they got it together. For me, there are better places. It was expensive, too. It would have been nice for the server to offer me something for the bad experience, like a free coffee refill but nope all I got was Just an apology. read more

So disappointed in this location after having a wonderful experience at Fluffy Bunny Ranch House in Long Grove. It wasn't the server's fault, but the temperature was so hot that we were literally sweating. The $17 Italian baked omelette was really dry with no flavor or seasoning, other than a couple slices of prosciutto on the side, and overall the prices didn't really match the quality. I was so excited to visit a newly opened Fluffy Bunny Coffee Shop in the Highland Park! It certainly lived up my expectations and beyond. They have a great veriety of coffee drinks for anyone's taste buds. From classic Julius Meinl to mushroom coffees for those who look for a healthier options. Absolutely loved all the organic dishes we ordered. The fluffy baked omelet was delicious. I think owners should bottle up their homemade dressing, it adds so much flavor to the dish. Syrniki, the village cheese cakes, were so soft and tasty. Beautifully presented with fresh berries on a pretty dishes. Overall ambiance was very welcoming and staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Finally made it to this place as a family. It was highly recommended to me by my friends and it exceeded our expectations! The food here is absolutely delicious! I am so grateful we finally have a good quality European desserts in the area! We had avocado/salmon waffles, syrniki and napoleon. Everything tasted sooo good! The best coffee in Highland Park. I have never tasted such delicious coffee. Julius Meinl is my favorite coffee from Austria. Never compares to American roasted beans. I have not tried all the drinks yet, but most that I have tried were amazing. I also tried syrniki - this is some amazing European dish made from cottage cheese and it is simply magnificent and fluffy and most importantly it is gluten free.
