Good food but shitty service. Walked in and it was pretty busy, we got greeted and were told we'll be seated in 15 and by then we'd get our food. We were seated after 15 mins but it took an hour to get our food. I'm not the type to complain but they were serving people who came after us and it seemed they prioritized the big group of asians at a table who were getting their orders right away which was really annoying since we were waiting an hour on literally 2pancakes while others were coming in after us and ordering a bunch of stuff AND GOT THEM BEFORE US. We just tried the strawberry chocolate pancake along with the sesame latte and a scoop of both vanilla and matcha ice cream. The pancake was amazing! It was covered in a light strawberry cream sauce and garnished with strawberries. It was so light and fluffy it melted in my mouth. There was a small cup with chocolate sauce on the side. My only issues was that the chocolate sauce didn't pour out of the cup, the sauce that did come out was delicious. The sesame latte was alright but for the price I would never order it again. My favourite thing about this place was actually the staff they are incredible, all of them are. So friendly and helpful, it was unbelievable. I will be coming back here very soon. The interior is very comfortable and clean, making it the perfect place for meeting up with friends and grabbing a snack. The pancakes were fluffy with a rich egg flavour that I haven't experienced with other types of pancakes. Overall, the food here is amazing and definitely worth having once in a while when you are craving something sweet. Pricing, you could say it's competitive with other similar restaurants, but would still be considered quite pricey for dessert. Service is perfect, very welcoming and prompt. The place has free wifi so you can definitely stay and chill a while with a nice cup of tea by your side. I enjoyed the sauce as it wasn't excessively sweet like other restaurants make them, but the pancake itself was a little bit dense and not as fluffy as I expected from the photos on their Instagram (I suppose maybe I grew accustom to other locations making them very fluffy). My only complaint I have is that they refused to give me a knife. Their excuse was that knives were only for savoury pancakes? It was slightly frustrating to cut it with the fork given to me. This location is new and working out its kinks still, like not bringing water to the table and it takes a bit of a while to receive the food. But the food is 5/5 and worth the hype. Amazing pancake! I came on opening day and got to try the chocolate lava soufflé pancake. The pancake was light, fluffy and sweet. Felt like biting into a cloud. The cream was cold and fresh and helped balance out the flavour. I was a little bit nervous about the whole chocolate lava element because I thought it would be overpowering but it was exactly the opposite. The chocolate wasn't enough to ooze out but it was enough taste and blend with the sweet fresh berries on top. 10/10 for the food. I came to the area for "dinner" and assumed I'd have to go elsewhere to eat actual food after, but I was so stuffed by the end of it that I didn't need anything else! There was a slight egginess to mine that wasn't present in my friend's pancakes, which suggested slight overcooking(?), but it was mostly masked by the toppings. The pancakes came much faster than I expected as it wasn't super busy at the time (15-20m), and they were plated very attractively. The plates are filling, and cost anywhere from 12-16$. They had a hot and cold drink menu, and the options looked very good. I think next time I will drop in for an iced drink :-). The seating isn't really limited but it isnt spacious either, it is in the middle. I felt as though there were a decent amount of seats. It was a comfy and vibrant environment.
