I got my food first (after an hour) and my son got his food an hour and half later: Same thing with my sister and her son. And this wasn't just our table it was everyone else. My sister asked the girl up front about her son's food not coming out which she responded with "since he has a complicated order it would take longer" which makes no sense since he ordered a sandwich and my son ordered just a single side pancake. Once she complained other tables started complaining. So I guess if you order something complicated they will get to your food last. Ridiculous. Terrible service. They have one kiosk so it takes forever to order. Then the food comes one by one. I had my order an hour after ordering and then my son had his 30 minutes after. Absolutely Not Worth It - Fluffy Fluffy Schaumburg is a Total Letdown We arrived at Fluffy Fluffy Schaumburg on a Sunday morning at 10:03 AM, excited to beat the crowd and enjoy what's advertised as light, fluffy Japanese soufflé pancakes. We were the first ones in the door--unfortunately, that's the last thing that went right. As we approached, we were greeted by an employee smoking out front. Not a great first impression, but we hoped for better inside. No such luck. Upon entry, the place was already filthy--crumbs under tables, stained and hair-covered seat cushions (we sat at a booth along the long wall), and a bakery case that was completely empty. This was right at open. It felt more like a place closing down than one preparing to welcome guests. The only thing playing in the background was loud, vulgar Bad Bunny music--complete with swearing in Spanish. I'm not opposed to music with edge, but there's a time and place, and this was neither. Ordering was done via an electronic self-checkout screen. Staff interaction was minimal--and when it happened, it didn't improve the experience. At 10:30 AM (25 minutes after ordering at 10:05), an employee finally emerged to tell us the grill had just been turned on and offered a complimentary mini cheesecake. A cheesecake that was, unfortunately, gritty, eggy, and totally lacking in creaminess. When the pancakes finally arrived, things somehow got even worse. My daughter ordered the Nutella banana pancakes--which came with no Nutella. Instead, they slapped a Ferrero Rocher candy on top and tried to pass off a thin, runny chocolate syrup (more Hershey's than hazelnut spread) as Nutella. Spoiler: it wasn't. My daughter, who had been the most excited about this outing, barely touched hers. I ordered the tiramisu pancakes--probably the least offensive item at our table, but still nowhere near the quality or fluffiness that the name "Fluffy Fluffy" promises. None of the pancakes lived up to their namesake--they were thin, flat, and underwhelming. Let's not forget the health and hygiene concerns: we saw an employee bare-handedly putting items into the bakery case. Unacceptable. And then came the bill: over $68 for three orders of pancakes, two bottles of water, and a can of Coke--with a modest 5% tip. For a meal we waited nearly 40 minutes for, that was served in a dirty environment, with no atmosphere and no quality? That's beyond overpriced--it's insulting. On the way out, a guy wearing a chef's coat wandered in at 11:10 AM--we were literally walking out the door by then. I can only assume he was supposed to be cooking our food? Save yourself the time, money, and disappointment. Schaumburg has plenty of better options. Fluffy Fluffy is all hype and no substance. 1/5 stars--only because zero isn't an option. read more

We went on the second day of the grand opening. We tried for the free merch that was supposed to be for the first 100 customers. There were not 100 customers in front of us and we got nothing. We got there about 10:55 for 11:00 opening. The line was crazy long in 90+ degree weather in the hot sun. I'd say about 70 people in front of us. It was about an hour to get in and another 30 min to order. Drinks were fast, food was slow. The restaurant was as hot inside as outside. One woman in line almost passed out. The management did provide free bottled water for people in line. About the food, the pancakes were good. If you don't like eggy tastes you won't like these. Very much like a firm souffle. You get two (about 6" round) with your choice of topping. I got banana nutella, my husband got classic and my daughter got cookies and cream. Hers had a round metal piece from the ice cream scoop buried in the ice cream. It was pretty sharp so it was lucky she saw it before she bit. I also ordered a tiramisu croffle. I don't recommend croffle because it was so hard it was almost impossible to cut with a plastic knife. Drinks were good but have to stir from the bottom. Yuzu was jelly at the bottom with soda on top so really hard to mix. Overall not worth $16 for two pancakes, and definitely not worth the croffle. Watch out for foreign materials in your ice cream! read more

Amazing Japanese pancakes! Super fluffy and very moist. The toppings were not overwhelmingly sweet which gave it just the right balance. The owner was so kind and welcoming. Came here for the first time today. It's well worth a visit! When you do visit please keep the following in mind: 1. If no one orders ahead of you the best case scenario is you'll get your food in 15-20 minutes. To the point above, the staff here makes your food and drinks TO ORDER. That means that you're waiting for fresh food. Please treat the staff with respect, and be patient. There were several customers while my friend and I dined in today that bought their audacity on sale today, and did what they could to belittle the staff for their orders taking time to come out. Did the lady that was upset wait 30+ minutes for food? Yeah! But she should have expected that. There is literally a sign when you order warning you that your food will take a while to be ready. All the above being said, the food was goddamn delicious. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the fruit was fresh, and they weren't overly sweet. The salmon and cucumber croissant was delicious, and it came with an arugula and pickled onion salad, and some tater tots that were hot & crispy. I'm genuinely so pleased with the way the food tasted. It was well worth the wait. Kudos to the two young people manning the counter though. They were super friendly, worked really hard, and dealt with the insanely negative customers with patience and respect. (They were nicer than I would have been, I can tell you that much.) We decided to try this spot for breakfast, and overall it was just okay. The wait time was about 45 minutes, and when the food finally came, each plate was brought out one by one instead of all together, so we couldn't really eat as a group. We ordered the tiramisu fluffy fluffy, Nutella iced latte, chicken and waffles, and the bacon egg sandwich. The tater tots were the best part, but everything else was just average. The chicken and waffles in particular felt more like chicken nuggets placed on waffles, which was disappointing. For the price point, we expected more. Service was fine but on the slower side. It would've been helpful if the staff had communicated upfront about the wait times and let us know that dishes wouldn't arrive together. A simple "thanks for your patience" would go a long way. This place does have potential the menu is interesting but the Saturday staff needs more ppl/more help and they could work on better communication, and tightening up the kitchen timing to improve the experience. read more

I was excited to try this new place out. I seen the fluffy pancakes on instagram. They where big and fluffy and jiggly on their videos. When we arrived there where only a few people sitting there. It took about 30 mins for my order. 17.25 for to small pancakes that here very plain tasting. They didn't taste bad but not great. Very sub par. Nothing like the pictures and. Videos on instagram. I was told my food would be brought out to my table. Then heard them yelling out numbers to pick up food. The staff would not present the whole order at once only bits and pieces as they came out of the kitchen. I felt like I was at Portillos or a fast food place yelling out orders to be picked up. Not a nice sit down experience. They offered brunch but for 23 dollars and not even getting served is crazy work. This is more like a snack I would buy if I was out shopping and wanted something to eat. Kind of like at a shopping mall or outlet walking around. These should be priced at 6 to 10 dollars tops. Not 17.25 to 19.25. That's downright insanity. Not sure if the pricing is due to high rents in the area they are located but even the drinks are super small and 6.25 each. Really had a poor experience. Seemed like all the guests were upset and not happy. Seen another family complain that they paid over 100 dollars for 4 orders and it was taking 40 mins. Honestly for a 20 dollar meal I would have been better off going to wild berry or egg harbor down the street. Hope this helps people out. Even the ones that are foodies wanting to take pictures of food and have fun. Mine was not even that nice looking or presentable. They don't have to take your order since it's not a full table service so they'll call your name when the food's ready but they'll bring it to you anyway? I think it's completely unorganized! Yes, the food looks good but it's all for aesthetic. Not sure if they're understaffed but it was definitely frustrating dining in. First of all have only one iPad to take orders so if you have first time customers and families trying to figure out what they want on an average takes about 10 mins to order. Should have known that after 30 mins of waiting and no one else being served food it wasn't going to end well. While sitting it seems like the restaurant ran out of ingredients to make food as what's seemed to be a door dash order of groceries arrived thru the front door you could tell the person bringing them was not an employee of the business. Anyways like I said over an hour wait for tasteless pancakes sure they were fluffy but the only way to describe these were like clouds light airy and no flavor. Because the employees are so rushed, they slap on all of the toppings and it ended up not being a good presentation of the pancakes.
