Arrived at just before 11 am. There was no exterior signage on the dirty windows other than the name on the new awning. No open/closed sign, hours of operation, etc. Inside the space was clean and neat until you got to the back where an array of tools littered the counter (food would later be placed here before pick up). A gentleman took our order although there was a large tablet for ordering, as well. We sat down and waited. More customers began arriving and, still, we didn't have our food. The pancakes finally arrived at 11:32. When I brought my dirty dishes up (because there was no place else to put them), I inquired about my husband's meal. The woman assured me it was coming. It arrived at 11:43 - a full 45 minutes after ordering. Additionally, there is apparently no ordering system in place. Staff were apparently working on them as they were running back and forth from one food prep area to another. When the server began plating orders, she simply announced the type of food. Unfortunately, the small menu meant that there were many people who had placed the same orders and customers began asking questions and at least two plates were given to the wrong tables. The Nutella and banana pancakes were good and my husband's salmon Benedict was also good but the lack of basic systems will probably have us choosing another restaurant. Suggestions: wash the windows, add pictures to the IKEA frames on the walls (at least remove the cardboard corners and plastic), and create a system for delivering orders. read more

Went on a Sunday morning for brunch. Walked in and realized it was set up more like an ice cream parlor than brunch spot. There is no wait staff so you have to order with a single screen. Ordered 2 orders of pancakes and a side of egg and bacon. I ordered a water and my husband a Coke Zero. We were given a water bottle and a can-Not exactly the brunch experience. 5 minutes later the egg and bacon arrive. Ok, awesome, but was not expecting to eat my meals in shifts. 40 minutes later, our pancakes arrive. Well, mine arrived. 5 minutes later, my husbands shows up. During that 5 minutes , several other tables were served. Again, people do not go to brunch to eat in shifts. The pancakes were good but the whole "brunch" idea should be reimagined. I feel like they are having an identity crisis. Are they quick service, are they brunch, are they dessert? Their business model just seems off. Good food but it is painfully obvious they are winging the whole hospitality aspect, which is half the battle. Very pricy but wouldn't mind if the service followed. read more

I really really really wanted to like this place, but it was very unpleasant. First of all as im sure many people will comment on, the prices are truly outrageous for what you are paying for. I want to preface this by saying I only ordered the fluffy pancake. I could not believe the lack of flavor that my pancake had. It just tasted like a fluffy egg white, there was 0 dessert flavor. The wait time for the pancake to be done took at least 15 minutes which is fine but for that to be the end product I have to comment on it. Also, I got a pancake with nutella and it was insanely runny. I grew up on nutella and it does not have a chocolate syrup consistency. I would rate this lower than 1 star if I could. A week after their grand opening and they still don't have it together. The pancakes should take about 20mins, but we waited over 50. The pancakes were at least half or less the height they should be. Nothing about the tiramisu pancakes were worthy of the name - it was just whipped cream and cocoa powder on top. I have to say for this was one of the worst experiences I had to endure at a food establishment. We placed our order thinking everything is fine. And when our food is ready they made it as a to go order which no one in my family said it was to go, they put the blame on another customer who was also eating there. After waiting for that correction they bring out our order and there was already mistakes, they turned our BLT Sandwich into a salad, and our Nutella pancakes into a standard one. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which the image on the screen shows that hash browns are included but they were not. What makes this worse is that the workers initially didn't want to accept the blame and made it like it was our fault. We waited for a hour to get the correct food. I think the main issue is that the music in the place is too loud and the workers can't communicate with each other and hear what customers are actually saying. Very bad business practice and did I forget to mention that the fluffy pancakes aren't even that fluffy?
