Sayfani is a new Middle Eastern coffee house in Schaumburg. I've been there a few times and it's always busy! It's a large set up with plenty of table to sit. I love the diversity of the crowd, too! You have young folks and families, elderly couples, and singles doing work. It's great to see everyone come in and enjoy the pastries, food, and drinks. The decor is beautiful! You look like you're in a beautifully decorated Arab villa with updated decor. It's airy and trendy. The pastries were beautifully laid out and it was hard to resist. You can also purchase light food items for lunch or dinner. I enjoyed refreshers, and most recently, the Strawberry Matcha. I loved the flavors and how refreshing it was. The service was great and even though they were busy, they managed to get my drink out quickly! It's really a great place to check out.

We made our way out to Schaumburg to go shopping at IKEA, but this was our first stop. We got the Golden dagger latte (honey-caramel-vanilla) & Sayfani latte (honey-cardamom-cinnamon) ($7 each). They were absolutely delicious. They had some savory food options, but none were vegetarian. We ordered a few options from the pastry case. We ordered the Dubai Pistachio Cheesecake ($11.99) but were given the Dubai Chocolate Cake by mistake, so we had to go back up to swap this out. I ended up not liking the cheesecake texture at all, and I wonder if it had gelatin in it. We got the Chocolate Tres Leches ($9.99), which was fine but a bit pricey. Finally, we got the Strawberry Fruit Mousse ($10.99) - again fine but pricey. I would get coffee here again, but I would pass on the food. Overpriced, and I wasn't a huge fan. We had to find somewhere else to go afterwards to get something savory before shopping. The interior is incredibly spacious but most of the tables were marked as reserved.

After having dinner with my friend at Lao Hu Tong, we wanted to end our night with dessert. Sayfani happened to be very close, so we decided to check it out. The place looked very familiar, and I realized I had seen it on social media before. The interior was spacious and absolutely stunning. I immediately fell in love with the aesthetic and overall vibes of the place. We ordered the iced strawberry matcha ($8) and the San Sebastian Pistachio Cheesecake ($11.99). The items came out fairly quickly. The desserts weren't bad, but they weren't particularly mind-blowing either. The strawberry portion of the matcha reminded me of Nesquik strawberry powder I used to drink as a kid. It didn't have that fresh strawberry puree taste I was hoping for. I was also expecting a stronger matcha flavor. It tasted more like strawberry milk to me. Again, not bad, but definitely not my favorite. The cheesecake was interesting as well. It looked like a Basque cheesecake, but the texture was thick and gooey rather than light and creamy. It was also a very bright green, which caught me off guard. I also felt that it was a bit pricey for dessert, especially for the slice of San Sebastian Pistachio Cheesecake we ordered. I noticed that many tables had a pot of tea, and I've heard from friends who've been to Sayfani that their lattes are good. I'll definitely need to go back and try some of their other items.

This was my first experience with Yemeni coffee and I am absolutely smitten. The latte was absolutely delicious, so smooth and the flavor was balanced perfectly with milk. The chicken bread roll was tasty, if a bit dry, but it could have been because we went there a little later in the afternoon. The service was quick and efficient, and the folks working there were very kind in answering our questions as we'd never been to a Yemeni coffee shop before and wanted to ask about different flavors. My partner and I had been hoping for a new spot to try where we could order some coffee and a snack, and spend a couple of hours playing some small tabletop games. Sayfani delivered, with plenty of seating in comfortable chairs, which is generally my biggest gripe of any coffee shop - so often they opt for hard chairs that my back just can't handle for more than a half hour or so. These chairs were very comfortable and we spent an enjoyable two hours or so with our coffee, snacks, and games. The esthetic is very bright, clean, and generally welcoming. I will say I wish I had brought my Loop earplugs to help dampen some of the music and noise. Initially when we got there the place was basically empty (as seen in the photo), but as it filled up, there is not a lot in the decoration that would absorb sound so it does get fairly loud. Had I brought the earplugs I think it would have been more comfortable. That said, this place isn't too far from me and I plan to return! Earplugs in hand, ready for delicious coffee. :)

Amazing ambience and choice of tea and snacks. I love their Adeni chai and pistachio milk cake. Just yummm. The service is great too, smiling faces and patient folks! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to sit down for tea and snacks

For my 2nd time here I had one of those fruit desserts. I picked the blackberry one. When I broke into the chocolate encasing, I dug into a gelatin-like filling make with chantilly cream, almost like pots de creme. It's delicious, the sweetness is mild and not overdone. The tangerine ginger tea is also comforting.

We love coming here to meet and catch up with friends. The drinks are good. We love their teas and desserts. You really can't go wrong with anything you order from here. The pastries are good not overly sweet.

Bright open ambience. Volume level wasn't bad so you can have a conversation with people. Decent amount of seating as its fairly large for a cafe. Delicious sweet and savory options available. There are things like samosas, shawarma wraps available too. Pastries can cost as much as $10 for one item, teas run about $6.50 but you can share it with 2 other people since the carafe is a decent size. Overall great spot to check out. I'll be back to try more items.

Sayfani is such a beautiful place. So cute! Customer service was not the best. The lady running the counter was kinda rude. The pastries were delicious!! The matcha was very watered down, not something I'd recommend.

Sayfani Coffee House is a wonderful new addition to the Schaumburg coffee scene! It is located in a strip mall but the inside is very large and beautifully designed. I visited on a Sunday slightly after open and staff was definitely still setting up for the day with items in the display case & taking chairs off tables. The staff member had great recommendations based on preference of hot or cold drinks. I got the Honey Lavender Latte which came in a beautiful reusable cup. The espresso had a great caffeine kick and flavor was nice. My husband got the Erda Chai Latte which was ok. It wasn't quite sweet nor spiced and flavor was subtle. Either way this is a beautiful spot to catch up with friends, work remote, or enjoy a solo date. Check out Sayfani Coffee House when passing by!

Stopped by Sayfani for the first time today great service friendly staff. The drinks were delicious we had the matcha and the pineapple mango refresher. The refresher was my favorite. The inside is beautiful would definitely come back.

It was like stepping into a country in the Middle East. We ordered a couple of desserts and chamomile tea. The tea complemented the sweetness of the dessert. The tea also came with two refills. The staff were very helpful with menu related questions and even provided us a private seating area so we can comfortably chat. I could not think of a better way to end the night.

This cafe does so many things right, starting with the spacious parking lot located in a large strip mall, which makes stopping by very convenient. Inside, the dining room is bright, elegant, and welcoming, and the staff has been consistently friendly and kind. During my first visit, my friend and I ordered for dine-in, and I immediately appreciated the thoughtful details. The ordering counter displays a variety of freshly made pastries and bakery items that are very tempting. My drink was served in a real glass, and my food came out hot on an actual plate with a fork. I love places that make dining in feel intentional and special rather than treating it like takeout. I ordered the spinach Turkish bread ($8.75), and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was generously filled with spinach, cheese, and garlic, and the flavor was outstanding. You could tell it was freshly made and homemade. Just writing this review is making me crave it again. I also ordered an iced caramel macchiato ($6.25), which had a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness and paired really well with my food. One downside is that the dining room is not very large, so tables are close together. As it got busier during our visit, I became a bit uncomfortable because I could clearly hear the conversation at the table next to us, which meant they could hear ours, as well. It is something to keep in mind if you plan to stay. Because of this, I now usually order my drink to go. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this cafe. We were there mid-morning on a Saturday, and two people were working.
