Ok, so look, it's delicate right, reviewing the colon cleaners, but I love a good, juicy (maybe…read moredon't use juicy) challenging review. Location for me is everything cuz I'm a creature of convenience, so having this place within walking distance of my work place (where I accumulate so much sh...stuff to begin with) is clutch! The place is CLEAN which can go without saying, but is absolutely the bare minimum of what is needed from a place collecting our most unmentionables (I can't help myself). A very friendly attendant/nurse? helps you to your room, and are standing before the Poop Collector, a massive system that's gonna fill you up so you can empty out (I can't stop laughing). Anyhoo, she explained that I'd be flying this poop mobile solo, which, EVERYONE wants to do...do. She talked through that first push and I was so happy to see her leave the room. For the next 30-45 minutes I experienced what can only be described as a trip through my dietary history, where with every push out I recalled all the horrible things I'd eaten to land me on this throne. Not gonna lie, after you get past the butt plug, water guts, and pool of your own soup that your butt is sitting in, it's a really good feeling. She comes back to explain that you gonna pop off the probe and then release them innards until you feel empty, the rinse off with a hose (that if you aren't careful can wet up the whole room) before baby wiping and getting dressed. I felt so cared for and decided that I would get the 4 pack cuz this gut is my main priority. In other words, clean your butt system here. You (and whoever is holding your sheets down at night) will appreciate it!

I've seen Dr. Sharma several times. With all due respect to the other reviewer ....I'm sorry but…read more ....but I had to speak up because the review below was just off. Not an accurate description... Dr. Sharma isn't nearly as bad as she explains, not even close! Yes the office is not tidy but I've never seen syringes laying around. Educational materials and pamphlets...yes sure. Plenty. big deal. Dr. Sharma spends a lot of time with you and really goes over your entire 'wholistic approach'. She took out a huge binder and educated me on hormones, thyroid, and dietary approaches for my condition. At the time, I wasn't ready to convert to sprouts and a raw diet so i disregarded some of her advice but she was on track with many things and recommended some good supplements... several of which she sold at a decent price. Anytime you see any doctor, especially a holistic doctor who doesn't send you for bloodwork covered by insurance, you should know to bring your bloodwork! I have 2 folders full of all the labwork I have collected over the years. Especially if you have a known health condition, or chronic condition, you should keep a copy of your labwork every time you have any done!! Dr. Sharma is also an acupuncturist and I had some excellent results with stress relief after the 'included' acupuncture session. It was included in the initial $250 visit where she goes over everything with you. She does chelation for heavy metals toxicity and intravenous Vitamin C therapy which is known to kill cancer. She does a wide variety of stuff and doesn't charge a ton, and so maybe doesn't have enough staff to clean up more. I have almost NO doctors that I really respect when it comes to their knowledge and what they are doing. I believe she is a very knowledgable doctor of holistic medicine. She gave me a diet and supplements and lifestyle suggestions, including tapping. Told me to sprout...can't remember the rest. But I'm considering going back and that's why I looked her up and saw that scathing unfair review. Just evening up the score a bit here. Thank you.

My family and I came here on a Friday and had a fantastic time!…read more Pros: - About a 50-minute drive (35 minutes without traffic) from Bed-Stuy, and found street parking right outside the entrance. - Easy check-in and seamless locker experience similar to Sojo Spa, where you put your shoes and clothes in separate lockers. They provide a bathrobe, a hand towel, and slippers. No outside flip flops allowed. When you are ready to shower, you can ask for larger shower towels. - Large, spacious, and clean facility with Greek-esque blue and white architectural details. We enjoyed the open layout with the different heated pools, the vast array of strong jets, and the hot tubs. All the jet buttons worked, and the jets turned on right away. We loved the large Himalayan Salt sauna, which was also the hottest. Overall it wasn't crowded at all! - My daughter loved the outdoor pool with the overhead waterfall, the indoor pool right by the bar, the playhouses in the relaxation area, and the kids' playroom. - The hydrotherapy pools, cold baths, and steam room in the changing areas/locker rooms were clean and well-maintained. - The Korean food is delicious! The Korean Beef Stew was some of the best we've had in a while. - Kids allowed (all ages accepted!), and my daughter had a blast! Cons: - Some of the rooms, such as the relaxation room at the top, could use an upgrade. - The co-ed outdoor dry sauna needs to be much hotter. Wish they had a co-ed steamroom like at AIRE Ancient Baths. - Some of the shower heads in the sitting shower area were weak and needed fixing. - The foosball table for kids was missing the ball, and needed extras around. - $13 ramen was the 85-cent Paldo Gomtang Korean Beef Flavored Instant Noodle Soup you can get at H-Mart. Note: - Take advantage of the 30% off admission special offers on https://shop.nyspacastle.com/newyork/index.php. $59.50 for adults M-T and $77 for adults F-Sunday. You cannot redeem and use it within 24 hours! "Any earlier attempt to redeem is invalid. If you plan to visit the facility within 24 hours, please make your purchase in-store." So much fun, can't wait to come back with a large group!

I've been a loyal Spa Castle customer from day one, even during the times they closed for…read morerenovations. I've always supported this place and truly wanted it to continue being great. Last Wednesday, we visited from around 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (they close at 9:30 PM), so we were mindful not to rush them or their closing shift. Overall, the spa experience itself was good. The facilities were fine, and the food was absolutely chef's kiss as always -- that part never disappoints. I also understand that prices have gone up, and while Spa Castle is now priced similarly to SoJo Spa, I didn't mind paying more since everything else in life has also gone up. However, the experience was completely ruined at the very end. When we were about to leave, we realized there were no hair dryers at all -- not even one. Yes, you read that right: a spa with NO hair dryers. I asked the three ladies at the front desk if there were any hair dryers available, and they told me, "We don't have any. Customers steal them." I was shocked. That is not the customer's responsibility -- it's the spa's responsibility to manage and replace basic amenities. A hair dryer is a basic service at any spa, especially in winter, when it's cold outside and people cannot walk out with wet hair. When we went to check out, a male and a female staff member were at the counter. The man asked how our experience was, and I honestly said everything was fine except for the fact that there were no hair dryers, which was very disappointing. He looked at the female staff member, and she said, "We do have one hair dryer. Did you ask them?" I told her yes -- we asked twice, and three employees told us there were none. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, her tone was rude and dismissive. There was no effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge how uncomfortable and unfair that situation was. No spa should send guests out into the cold with wet hair after they paid full price for the experience. Sadly, the lack of basic amenities and the unprofessional attitude at the front desk completely ruined what could have been a great visit. I was very disappointed, especially as someone who has supported Spa Castle for years. At this point, I would rather go to King Spa or SoJo Spa, where customer service and basic spa standards are taken seriously. Very upsetting experience, and sadly, I don't think I'll be returning.

There has been a lot of attention on this new facility following their grand opening so I wanted to see what the hype was about. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with smiles and professionalism. Light music surrounds you as you're offered a light beverage in preparation for your service and they even have an impressive kiosk that allows you to walk through all services offered. I noticed all of their equipment is top quality so the owner definitely did not scrimp out of anything, along with the entire facility so modern. The owner is darling and she truly knows how to help you out as a first timer to her establishment and is very knowledgeable. They're known for their colon hydrotherapy using "Angel of Water" which sits in the back in a large room that is structured as a unique spa escape. Stylish decor, dim lighting, and a relaxed ambience overall. The therapy is intended to allow vital nutrients to be absorbed more easily and leaves you feeling rejuvenated and boosts your energy. Facials, body shaping, and other enhancements are offered. I left this place feeling very relaxed and comfortable. I purchased a couple of different packages, as it is more economical this way. Parking is pretty easy as they located within a plaza. Great places to eat nearby if you choose to go somewhere afterwards. I feel amazing today and I know it's all because of my experience. I can't wait to come back for my other sessions. Thank you!
