Stopped going there after ordering an extra large pizza, that was supposed to have a bunch of toppings. They are VERY STINGY with toppings. It is sad because I have been there numerous times and want to support a local business. But since the new owners, the quality of the pizza has gone. This is not an isolated incident. I witnessed another customer bring back a pizza due to lack of toppings. Destroying a business over pennies is not smart. read more

Well to start off, it was lunch on a Thursday and only 3 customers were there. We ordered wings and garlic knots. The garlic knots came out hard and dry with a scant amount of garlic butter at the bottom of the wax paper in the basket. my garlic Parmesan cheese wings came out cooked nicely, but with a creamy sauce on them. I like lots of garlic pieces and shaved Parmesan when I order those and get 99.9% of orders from other restaurants. This cream sauce was a big disappointment. nice flavor but an odd consistency for wings. The garlic knots were remade after our complaints, and softer ones cooked just right came out warm. nice! but the extra garlic sauce requested was a tiny cup and ice cold. The saving grace was the bourbon/blackberry drink that was delicious and the bartender was very nice. my biggest pet peeve is a waiter not coming back within a few minutes to ask, is everything ok, or can I get you anything else. waited too long a time to ask for water and remake the garlic knots. like 15 minutes! And hardly anyone was in the building. The old area was cozy and had a nice outdoor seating area. it's closed up. This is now a warehouse looking building, tons of high back chairs and tables, and probably great for a full house of weekend beer drinkers, but certainly not cozy, warm looking or particularly child friendly. but a huge plus for welcoming dogs! I will try pizza on my next trip. wings were nothing special.plus no celery! Who serves wings and does not stock celery? Plus the blue cheese side was not great. Ok, so yes OF COURSE the pizza here is outstanding. And the staff are super wonderful and loveable. HOWEVER, if you want the secret weapon, it's the bone-in chicken wings. Wow. Usually when you get wings this meaty, they are too fatty and and never cooked well enough. These guys are so perfectly crispy with quality meat. 5-star service and the personal pizza was delish! They welcomed and were so sweet to my little pupper after we all got off our bikes (Fly Boys is on the trail). Service was fantastic, and I really like that they have Rules For Pets (on a sign at the entrance), so that they'll continue to be welcomed warmly. The atmosphere was so cute- lots of airplane memorabilia. Bathrooms were clean. But the best thing was as soon as we were seated, THEY STARTED PLAYING STURGILL SIMPSON, so they also have top-tier taste in tunes. Great acoustics, too. read more

Peruse my ratings history and you'll see I almost never give out 5-stars. I think this is one of them. I was just trying to find a nearby place for lunch (utility worker doing storm recovery stuff) and I stumbled upon this gem. Italian sub: brightly colored meat, chilled veggies, but the hero of the sandwich was the bread. Most Americans don't know what actual bread is. American bread is to bread what American cheese is to cheese. This was simple bread. Fries: These were the best fries I can ever remember consuming. Crispy on the outside. Pillow on the inside. I've seen youtube videos on how to achieve this effect but I've never tried it (because of the effort and time needed) or had it from another restaurant. I've had some similar, but these were THE BEST FRIES I'VE HAD in a long time if ever. Garlic knots: meh. They were there. Nothing special. I wouldn't order again. But the Italian entree was worth it. Unsweet tea: maybe not enough tea flavor -- maybe watered down a bit, but serviceable. Even offered a to-go drink. Atmosphere: arrived at 3:00ish. Nobody was really there. Probably because it's in the middle of nowhere with no major thoroughfares of which I know. Pay attention to the road signs coming in. It's a one-way street. STAY LEFT. Restroom was clean. I think it was a unisex. I didn't see a men's or women's so, toilet seat down, gents. I don't know if the restaurant is wheelchair ramp accessible. Maybe on the other side. It was our turn to provide pizza for the high school girls basketball team after their game. We called at 5:30 and ordered the pizzas for pickup at 6:30 to give them plenty of time. I arrived at 6:30 and they had not made the pizzas. They haven't even started making them. It wasn't even busy inside the restaurant. Once the pizzas came out they were very inconsistent. I also ordered a salad, and when I finally got to my salad after feeding the team I realized they didn't give me a fork. Food was fine. Not worth the price. read more

I really was expecting better. It was a Friday so we wanted to eat and then go over to Flygirl next door to play some pool and have a couple drinks. We sat down around 4pm and a couple other tables were finishing up and when they left we were only ones there as we ordered. My wife's drink had a floaty of something( looks like from ice machine) but was replaced. We started with the buffalo appy, which was just 6 frozen breaded shrimps with not much flavor for $ 9.50. We ordered the medium ( 13") Airbus pizza which is basically a Supreme. The crust is a premade that you would find on a frozen pizza. It was loaded with toppings but I've had better cheese and sauce flavor from an Aldi's fresh pizza. It came out in less than 10 minutes after ordering which I thought was kinda quick for a fresh made pizza. Lot of competition in this town for pizza. We preferred a pizza with mushrooms on the entire pizza and sausage and green pepper on half. When our order came it only had mushrooms on half. We told the servers but they offered no solution. She only came to the table once to check on us and then we never saw her again until we were ready to go. Also, they charged full price for every ingredient even tho some of them were only on half. It was very hot inside as well so I'm sure their air was not working that good. Will never go back again and do not recommend it as the food was not that great either read more

I'm not sure if Flyboys has new owners but I used to love the Airbus and Apache pizza but as of late it doesn't taste the same. I went 2/7/2026 and I was not happy with the taste , something has changed. My husband and I used to go once every week or so. There used to be two different buildings one was more like a restaurant with waitress' and seemed more personal and then you could go to the brewery side Flygirls Brewery with a more open area with pool tables and a more sporty atmosphere. It appears now the only area they have where you can eat will be the brewery. on 2/7/2026 we went in , placed our order at the bar area, and when our pizza was deliver to the table it was in a to go box and no plates to eat on much different than the Flyboys I was used too. I like the more personal style of dining in the Flyboys portion of the building but I was told by an employee this was going to be the way it is now. thanks for the memories read more

Came in tonight, the air was fixed, they now have a lamp in the host area, so you can see well in there AND they now take your payment at the table instead of you checking out up front! I am so impressed!!! Thank y'all for making the changes I suggested!!! read more

Like the place and ambiance. As per other reviews though, pizza is good but dough has the consistency and taste of frozen pre made dough. Ingredients are good. Overpriced in my opinion ($20 for a medium pizza). Bottom line. Ambiance and location: Good. Pizza: Average(but just improving the dough would go a long way)Service: Good. It's been 6 months since my last visit. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun and cocktails. Recommend reservations of parties more than 4 since they always seem understaffed. The best thing they have going for them is their beautiful space. It's large and clean with lots of natural light and outdoor seating. Was on the rails to trails with my dog, stopped in to take a break and have something to eat. Went to the door to "see hostess". Well, no one in sight and very slow as it was a weekday about 3pm. The only 2 tables were outside at the high tops in front of the restaurant. I sat at a high top outside the front of the bar waiting for someone to acknowledge me but there was no one in sight (no bartender). Never saw a server come outside, apparently these 2 tables were going inside to get what they wanted. I finally saw a bartender and opened the door to say "hey, I'm sitting out here". This was after 15 minutes. I was greeted with a nasty look! WOW! Kind of looks like you need the business but I will see if I get service? 10 minutes sitting there. NOPE! The place looks great and I loved that they have a great sanitation grade but the pizza was lacking. We ordered a large pepperoni with green peppers and black olives to go - some slices only had one piece of pepperoni, very skimpy. The pizza crust had a strong sour taste not sure if it was supposed to be sourdough but definitely not a pleasant taste. Very disappointed after hearing so many good things about them. Visited last week to check out a new bar and restaurant. It was easy to see quite a bit of money was invested in making a large sports bar space. Large, clean restrooms. Plenty of seating at tables and at the bar. The bar offers a good selection of brews on tap and bottles. Good selection of wines. The usual compliment of spirits. The staff was friendly. My order of wings was good, not great. A lot of potential with this new sports bar. Unfortunately, the bar's operating hours show closing at 9pm. I asked about the bar being open for Sunday and Monday night football games. The staff could not answer the question. Actually, the Tri-City area would benefit from a good sports bar (not Chili's) to enjoy a cold beer and a burger while watching football. Maybe some specials just for the game. An advertising campaign with marketing, outreach, and social media would go a long way to increasing patronage and viability. read more

Let me shorten this up! My wife and I went to Fly Girls Pizza on Thursday evening for dinner !a. The business was very busy but was handling it ok. We went in and it was very loud because they had the midget fight going on ? Found two seats at the bar sat down ! My wife had just pulled a12 hour so we knew we would have to wait but she was pretty hungary. The bartender made eye contact so I was Sure she knew we were there.. We sat down and watched people come and go, after about ten minutes as she went by I said 2 mic and water when you get time. She nodded and ignored us again , for another seven minutes we sat there and waited. ,About another five go by and she was in front on me so I repeated my order ! She finishes the drink she was working on and came back my was , and as I started to speak her she very rudely very sternly said they were here before you, well excuse me . The group of four girls had just walked up ! We been here almost 30 minutes and she totally ignored us again ! Well that did not go very well with me, I hate for servers or anyone else to make INVISABLE. What are these people thinking, I only live 1 mile from this restaurant but I will NOT go back !
