Selling stolen e-bikes? No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere. Plenty of other options these days.

I had mixed results here…read more They did improve my Trek overall, but I still had to take it to another shop afterward because the brakes were rubbing. On my Giant, they found a backwards jockey wheel, but I was also charged for derailleur adjustments multiple times and later learned the actual front shifting issue was a bent chainring. At one point it was suggested that I might not be shifting correctly, but the problem turned out to be mechanical. They also adjusted my saddle and stripped the bolt in the process. After multiple visits and additional issues, I lost confidence in the quality and completeness of the work.

Instead of helping, he gave me attitude and sarcastically asked, "What's 700C?" Before I could answer, I clarified my tire is 27 1/4. He then rattled off a bunch of other sizes before finally going to the back to get one. When he returned, he handed me a single tube, priced at $10. I asked if there were other brands or options, and again, more attitude. He told me it's all rubber anyway and questioned why I even cared. At checkout, I gave him cash and asked if he needed anything else. He said I owed him 88 cents, so I gave him a dollar, and he threw the change into my hand so carelessly that it bounced off and fell onto the counter. No apology, no decency. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. There are plenty of other bike shops where the staff will treat you with basic respect, actually help you, and not act like you're bothering them by being there.

I've been here twice, and both times felt like I was overcharged for shoddy works…read more I have an ebike and a lot of the LBS won't touch it (even to fix a flat). Heard that these guys do so I brought my bike here on Sat to get the brakes fixed, wheel trued and some screws tightened. Gave me a $60 quote and an hour wait. Cool, I left the bike there and took a walk to get some money (cash only). 10 minutes after I'd left (15 since I dropped off the bike), got a call saying they were done. Ok, so maybe they're really really good? Well, brakes are fine, wheel not any better, and screws def not tightened. Meh. Got a flat tire Monday night (2 days after my 'tune-up', go figure). Was told $20 and 10-minute wait. Fine. I waited outside for at least 20 minutes. They brought my bike out. Charged me $25. Whatever, it was cold and I needed to get home. Hopped on the bike and started pedaling. Rear wheel locked up. Took another 5 to fix their mistake. Alright. Time to go home. A few blocks down the road, rear fender got loose and started to rattle everytime I hit a bump. And the best part of it? My 8-speed IGH only goes up to 6 now. I agree with the other reviewer. They're definitely taking advantage of people just because they're licensed (?) to work with motorized bikes. Stay away.

Rajel's Electric Bike & Bicycle Repair - They also repair small motorcycles. And pretty much anything (non-motorized) on wheels :) Did anybody say rickshaw?

Rajel's Electric Bike & Bicycle Repair - The sign in the front says "hand truck" in large letters, but they're really a bike shop.
