Legit the best service I have ever received! I will be back. I will tell all my friends on Yelp and otherwise that this is the best Bike shop ever. I recently had a flat on my bike tire. Unable to just pump up and hope for the best, I needed help fast. I actually rolled up to another shop that was open and they told me that couldnt help me. This shop was closed as I rolled up. The owner of the shop saw me roll up with my flat, opened the door an hour early and fixed my tire in about 8 minutes. I was back out on the street fast and back in action fast as can be. I cant gush enough how thankful I am that the owner came out and helped me. I was SOL and standing on the corner trying to figure out what to do next. He came out and asked if he could help. Legit baller! Plan to go back and buy a bike from this guy. Also, will be back for all bike repairs and service. NO question one of the best NYC customer service experiences I have ever had. I stopped here on my way to work and was helped right away. My front brake cable was shot, and I was super nervous biking downhill with only my rear brakes to sustain me. The man, presumably the owner, took my bike in right away, fixed the cable in no time, and only charged me $13. I was incredibly grateful for everything. Recommend! read more

The reviews are out of date. Doesn't seem like an old Chinese man runs this shop anymore unless he was off that day. It was three Hispanic dudes. (I'm Hispanic. I'm just pointing that the ownership has seemingly changed.) I came here because the Yelp reviews said this was one of the cheapest places for bike repair in Brooklyn and in the city. For me, it was not. First with the good. I'll give them props for their turnaround time, which must've been a half an hour or 40 minutes for a wheel replacement. They swapped in a new rim, spoke, hub, and maybe a new inner tube too. But I can't recommend them based on quality of work and price. I felt pressured to get my whole wheel replaced. I only had a few broken spokes and a broken axel, which are much cheaper to replace. What should've been maybe $30 tops turn into $87 dollar repair on a bike maybe worth $200. There's another bike shop a mile away (Kween Cargo) that builds a wheel for you for $50. Now maybe that doesn't include an axel or inner tube replacement (both $5-10 parts) but that's still half the price and, I'd bet, better work than this place. Here I am now, two weeks later barely having used the bike and the back tire that got repaired is flat and can't take air, which has never happened to me. I'm not a schnook. I know enough to know my spokes were probably breaking from being a bigger guy and I would need a wheel built. But they just quickly replaced it with another 32 spoke wheel, when a 36 spoke wheel would be better. Anyway, just a heads up that this is just a heads up that this place may not be as inexpensive as it used to be. And last thing, as of two weeks ago they barely have adult bikes in stock. So look elsewhere for that. Seems like the so called "hipster bike place" charges *less*. read more

Came here to get some parts but ended up getting the work done here. The price was so good it would have been stupid for me to do it at home. It ended up being perfect (changing cranksets). The owner (elder man)did the work himself, his hands tell me he's been doing this forever. This place will be my go to bike fix shop. read more

This was the nearest shop when I checked Yelp; and the elderly Asian man was so kind to top my tires off after they had been closed a while. I had trouble riding the tires were out of alignment, when I hit the brakes, it was getting stuck to the tires, he repaired it and also told me that my front tire is bad and I need a new one. One of the strangest businesses I've ever been to. Walk inside and there's two Hispanic men at the front and an elderly Asian man at the back. The Hispanic men just stare at me and the Asian man is inattentive. After some considerable difficulty explaining to him that I don't just need a tube change (my tire was punctured) and some confusion over what operations he's capable of performing, he puts a new tube/tire on for $28 in all of ten minutes while I eat a slice of pizza next door. I'm on my way and don't have to walk 45 mins to pick the thing up the next day. What can I say? Can't argue with those results. read more

This place is awesome. Ok, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the service and value are both excellent. My bike needed a tune up and the back wheel rim was warped. Several nearby shops wanted $60-100 just for the tune up. More for straightening the back wheel. Plus 1-2 days to complete the service. Gimme a break. They were the type of shops that have been opening up in the area over the past few years catering to the hipster crowd. No offense..you could say I'm a part of that crowd too. Anyway, based on the reviews on yelp I decided to take a chance on this Graham bike shop. When the guy asked when I needed it done, I assumed the next day thing was standard. But no, he was basically asking if I needed it immediately, or would a few hours be ok?! He called me an hour later, job done, full tune up, wheel straightened, everything on the bike is absolutely perfect. All for under $50. This place is awesome. Period. read more

Yup, the "kind older Asian man" that other reviewers speak of is pretty much the shit. He stocks decent parts and sells them at more than fair prices. I ride a pretty flash vintage road bike. One that people would say "sweet frame dude" and stuff like that if I took it into Affinity or another more hip shop. But this guy could care less, his job has nothing to do with making you feel cool or forwarding bike culture; he fixes bikes. New tire and tube change, $29 cash, while I waited, none of that come-back-tomorrow-and-they-actually-haven't-touched-it nonsense. You're not gonna beat that price/service. Maybe he's not the most cheerful guy, and they shop probably doesn't keep regular hours, but what do you expect from an aging down-to-earth bike mechanic? read more

This place has horrible costumer service, and the older asian man who runs it once nothing to do with you. He is completely unhelpful and rude. I would avoid this place like the plaque. I regret my purchase and I 100% regret that I bought it from a man who doesn't care about his customers. Perfectly reasonable place to take your bike for simple repairs. It's not as quick or as cheap as nearby Nelson's Bicycles, but the proprietor seems to keep somewhat more predictable open hours. Kind, older Asian man hooked me up with a new innertube and tire in about 10 minutes for $22. Limited assortment of inexpensive bike accessories, wide range of children's bikes. read more

Terrible. I went in because my front tire was flat. After taking my bike out for only 2 or 3 more rides, the front tire was flat again. When I confronted the guy, he simply said that the back tire was better, and refused to do anything about this. I ended up going to a different shop a few blocks away. read more

I blew a flat and the proprietor was gracious enough to let me change the tube in his store, use his air compressor, and he event leant me a presta valve adapter. Never have I seen such a display of Christian charity. You just don't get that anymore! read more

I went to a lot of bike shops in Williamsburg one day and ended up at this one. Finally, I was able to choose from a great selection of reasonably-priced new bikes of all types. The proprietor was one of those strange types who almost seems like he's upset with you for wanting to spend money at his place and asking questions about the bikes, but in the end, it worked out fine and and I'm glad I chose to buy my bike here. You might want to do some research on what kind of bike you want before and after your visit, though, since he wasn't the most pleasant helper when deciding what bike to buy or explaining the difference between bikes. He's not mean or terribly unpleasant or anything...it was just not a wonderful sales experience. I got a really nice, new, slick-looking bike for $300 and I had no problem paying via credit card. My advice to you: start here instead of ending here like I did. You'll probably save a lot of time if you do! read more
