The parts you want are ordered promptly and you know exactly when they arrive. Terry can get you ANYTHING you need for your bike, including older makes and models. There are many shops that I have patronized in the past that will forget to call you when parts arrive or your bike is ready because they're too busy -this does not happen at South Shore Cycles. Its a smaller shop, but it has a family feel to it.

I just purchased a BMW G310R and couldn't be more pleased! Buying your first motorcycle (from BMW…read moreno less) can be daunting and intimidating, but thanks to Anthony and Fred, I rode away on a bike that I felt confident on. When I first entered I was greeted by Fred. I made clear that I was not going to purchase anything on that day, and he still ran me through the overall mission of BMW, and the specs on the bike that I was eyeing specifically. After I walked out empty handed and slept on the idea, I continued to call in with random questions that I should have asked when I was in the dealership. Surprisingly both Fred and Anthony continued to return my calls with no promise of a return (I'm sure they get a lot of pestering calls about specifics that don't ever lead anywhere). When I made the decision to make the purchase, Anthony stepped in and made sure it happened. My bike was not in stock, and had to be ordered in. Anthony kept me updated as to the status of the bike (perhaps to avoid me calling him daily!), and when it arrived, he made sure it got prepped and ready in a day. I picked my bike up two days ago, and Anthony helped me get oriented with the controls and brought it to the outside area to feel out the clutch and throttle. Rather than just sending me off and saying "good luck, come back when you need to spend money!", we chatted for a bit about non-bike specific, riding things that I did not know the answer to. Overall I couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome into the world of motorcycling, and I am INCREDIBLY pleased with the ride! In terms of the bike, I highly suggest it for any new rider. If you are on the shorter side, but still want to ride a sporty bike, the G310R is a perfect fit. In terms of the dealership, I highly suggest it for any rider who wants to feel in capable hands. I've been to multiple other shops, and rarely received the same non-pushy, open approach as I did here. Money and time well spent!

As I came in I was very pleased to see that the store was really spacious and the staff was super polite. They took care of me right away and even gave me a nice discount as a courtesy. I will definetly make sure to come back to this store if I even need anything for my car in the future. My past experience with the larger auto part stores were very impersonal and the staff was usually not very helpful do it was a breath of fresh air to have such a great experience in a auto parts store as I had here. I definetly recommend anyone who needs auto parts to come here instead and see for themselves what great customer service looks like for once.

We drove around the block and parked for restrictions. While we were sitting there -less than 10 minutes after driving it away from this garage- someone pointed out our tire had a bubble! A very dangerous undrivable condition. When I went back to Matt, he said that was not an issue, and he was correct to give us the inspection sticker. Obviously it's not. I would have been better off finding someone not squeezing me in so we could drive the car today. And Response was so offensive he doesn't deserve our patronage.

I'm not a big car buff and regular maintenance, inspections etc always lead to me being slightly unsure about what the service entails, what it should cost, wondering if I'm being overcharged etc... in the few auto shops I've been to over the years, there seems to be an unwritten "no questions" policy -- apparently we're all supposed to be auto experts. All the above is why I was so delighted by my experience with United. I was able to schedule my inspection with a quick and pleasant call. They took me in on time, conducted the whole thing in under 10 minutes and had me on my way. They were pleasant and kind and didn't seem so in a rush like other auto shops I've been to. They're family run which is nice too. Go check them out, you'll be in good hands!

He's slick talking and he's always 'giving you a deal'. I had a small throttle cable issue on my 03 Bonneville that only required taking the tank off and adjusting the position of the cable. I couldn't do it myself because I didn't have the tools to do it. Sean said they'd knock it out real quick and 'give me a deal'. When he handed me a bill for $280 I reluctantly paid that knowing I'd probably never come back there again. Also, next time I went to take my seat off, noticed that both stock Triumph seat bolts were gone and they just threw on 2 different bolts that weren't even the same length. I did buy brake pads from them once and they didn't over charge for those. I did the brake pad replacement myself tho... So maybe, if you need parts, see what they've got but don't have them touch your bike. Don't get your bike inspected there either. They'll charge you double what it costs

My friends and I came into this store and saw some people playing around with some scooters (micro…read morekickboard). The lady then saw my friends kids playing on the scooters and came to confront us. She said did you guys ask to use these? Seriously lady? They are just kids and do not know any better. She snapped at us saying these are other customers. If these are for other customers then why are they on the floor with the other scooters and why are you pissed off at little children? This lady was extremely rude and needs better customer service skills. She does not know how to sell a product and should not even be allowed to work here. I would not recommend going into this store to buy anything or to even go into this store at all. This was a horrible experience and she scared the children.
