What's key for me is their expertise to inspect annually for any maintenance issues and troubleshoot the root causes that cause our car alarm to turn on randomly at night, a faulty transmission, etc. We've tried Honda dealers, but they usually upsell us or charge higher rates where the returns on investment don't support their surcharges. I realized that the staff here is likely too candid to know how to sweet talk customers and sugar coat any recommendations. They tried several times to dissuade my dad from fixing a 2001 Odyssey van because it wasn't worth the value of the car from two decades of depreciation with issues, ranging from air conditioning to a stolen catalytic converter when parked on the street in New York City. However, my dad insisted on repairing it because it was useful for transporting larger items, ranging from equipment to furniture. It's truly hard to find mechanics and a body shop you trust to bring your car and those of your loved ones. It helps that their crew (e.g., Ricky) can speak Chinese slowly and clearly to relate to my dad with his hearing impairments. Nobody's perfect in this imperfect world, so sometimes you need to take a leap of faith and find someone willing to work with you and relay all the info that you need to decide how to move forward or not with fixing your car. For me, it's better to hear the good, bad, and ugly truth than to not know the inside scoop for making a more informed decision, especially the tough ones.

My vehicle was declared a total loss. Despite this, I was charged indoor storage fees, however the vehicle was parked on a public street, not stored inside the facility. I have photos and videos documenting where the vehicle was kept. When the insurance adjuster inspected the vehicle on site, the car was visibly parked in public street parking. The shop, through Jennifer (supposed owner) and Anthony, nevertheless represented to the adjuster that indoor storage charges applied, despite the vehicle not being stored indoors at the time. I was also charged a fee for dollies, even though no dollies were used 1. It's a AWD 2. It was missing a tire ! The vehicle was towed by the shop using a Chevy pickup truck, and no dolly equipment was attached or utilized during the tow. Additionally, I was charged a fee for removing license plates, even though the plates were still on the vehicle. According to the shop, this was required to prevent tickets, even though the vehicle should have been stored indoors, where plate removal would not have been necessary. Over time, the shop added multiple fees that did not reflect actual services rendered, vehicle remained at the shop for over a month. The image attached to this review reflects only a portion of the charges; the total charges ultimately increased to over $9,000. I sent multiple emails, and my insurance company also contacted them, but we never received a response. Statements regarding insurance and payment responsibility were also made but were not reflected in the final outcome. This review is intended to inform others: if you are in an accident or have a totaled vehicle, be cautious when using this shop. Ensure all charges and services are documented in writing and carefully monitor the handling of your vehicle.
