We went on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, early afternoon and were able to grab three kayaks with zero wait, zero fuss. Given great directions to nearby spots to paddle too. Prices are ridiculously affordable, and we brought the corgi in the kayak! When I asked if the dog was ok, they told me of course and they had dog life jackets! My girlfriend and I rented a pontoon from Flyer's yesterday for 4 hours ($450), and it was the highlight of our trip. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The pontoon was in perfect condition, and it was really comfortable and easy to drive. The stereo was killer. This review is for the Flyers Seal Tour......DO IT! It is the best 45 minutes we have spent on the water! Captain Gabe was friendly and knowledgeable and really made the (successful) effort to get us near the adorable seals! (Don't worry, not so close as to disturb them!) We love Flyer's! We spent a few weeks on Cape Cod and wanted to spend some time on the water. We rented a pontoon boat and also did a sunset cruise, both of which are amazing! The process was smooth and easy, and parking was very convenient as well. The pontoon was fun to spend the day in, a great activity for a group of friends. The highlight, though, was the sunset cruise. This is so fun and our captain Steve, was the best! He took us around to all of the great spots and made sure we caught the sunset at every angle. You are the type of people turning P town from a once raw, rebellious, unpredictable, and ruggedly cool destination into a generic, gentrified, homogenized, safe, and dare I say: lame ass tourist town. JSYK, I have no affiliation with Flyers but I do have a true affinity for this once bohemian paradise. Where tough fishermen mingled freely with artists and writers. Where young hippies hung out with drag queens. Where thrifty tourists came to buy cheesey t shirts and giggle with innocent curiosity at the boys holding hands. Sure, you can still find some of these things in town: if you squint your eyes just a little and know where to look. But sadly, the P in P town now stands less for poets, painting, Portuguese, or penis and more for PARODY. As in: a parody of itself and what it once was. Places like Flyer's are what keeps what's left of that fantastic funk that this place was once so famous for, ALIVE! So toughen up! Release your inner pirate! Make sure your tetanus shot is up to date! And support a business like Flyer's! So what if they're a little grumpy. Try dealing with annoying tourists who are looking for a Disneyland experience and asking the same lame questions...ALL...DAY...LONG! You'd be grumpy too. And don't complain about the price! You just paid $30.00 just to leave your car in one spot. Boats are expensive to buy and even more expensive to maintain! That's why you don't have one and you're renting one. Best $126 spent in P-town. Open nutshell boat with a whooping 9.8hp engine that gets you across the bay in no time. The kids loved jumping over the waves other boats created and checked out the seals that lined up for us tourists. The staff member Stan is very nice. Absolutely no customer service- pay your money and you are on your own. A maskless nine year old dragged four kayaks out- all had broken straps or seat. We'd never used an ocean kayak but no matter, we received zero guidance. No safety protocols, advice or help. When I came back in for one with a functional seat, the woman I found just yelled at me. I have rented a small bay boat from Flyer's several times over the years. Love motoring out to Long Point to have a romantic picnic and then putt around the harbor and play on the waves!! The service has been fantastic each time I rented (perhaps 7 times?). Friendly and professional. You first check in at the main shack, where you pay and they review the map with you and provide good tips for where to go. Cost about $100 for 2 hours, which I think is a great value. From there, you pickup your life jackets (optional to wear, but required to be in the boat), then you're directed to your boat. At the boat, a helpful staff member helps you into the boat and gives you a lesson on how to run the motor, use the anchor, etc. If you have never operated a small motor boat, it is no problem. They provide everything you need both in terms of equipment and information. Don't be afraid if this is your first time - it's super fun and easy. My review is for their "bay boats". They have several other sizes and types that I hope to try someday. read more

Rented a pontoon boat from Flyers and had one of the best times of my life! Staff were very friendly and explained what we needed to know about the boat. We rented for 4 hours for $450. We could have done 8 hours for $600 but thought 4 was plenty. The boat itself exceeded all of our expectations. There were 4 of us and the boat holds 16 people so we had plenty of room. We brought a cooler with drinks and sandwiches that we picked up and ate lunch on the boat. The boat looked brand new. It had a small table for us to sit at to eat lunch and extremely comfortable long seating area on both sides in the front and the back of boat. It had a stereo so we could crank the tunes too. We all took turns driving the boat and it was so easy to drive. I had no idea it was that easy. We drove over to the actual tip of the cape, dropped anchor and climbed down the ladder very easily and hung out on the beach for awhile. Three of the four of us had never driven a boat before and it was so easy. You just need to watch out for other boaters and not be an idiot. If you've never driven one before don't let that deter you from renting, this is a must try. Love how helpful and kind the staff were. This was the best part of my trip to Ptown and the three others agree. Will definitely be back next year. Thank you Flyers, great staff, great boats, great experience! read more

Staff was amazing! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The equipment, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. We paid over $400 to rent a 19' boat for 4 hours. We are experienced boaters so it was shocking that the boat was dirty, seats were broken, part of the glass was missing, no cushion on the bow seats! Plus there was no bimini top and the reason given was that it blew off earlier in the season and they didn't replace it. Thankfully the weather was magnificent so we were able to get past these annoyances! read more

i have rented from them before so i recommended them to my family when we were in town. They launched us off quickly at our reserved time slot but a little too fast...we ran out of gas 1.5 hours into a 2 hour tour..a 2 hour tour. The weather started getting rough...the tiny boat wouldnt run so we cellphoned in and they came out and retrieved us. i dont think they refueled the boat inbetween rentals. it was the busiest week of the year in provincetown so i am cutting them some slack with 3 stars plus the counter clerk offered us a full refund and we would not take it but we did take 50% refund because we were out there for a good amount of time and had fun. gonna try again next year...maybe a pontoon boat instead of a small motor boat. we did see lots of seals. read more

15 dollars for a boat to take you round trip from commerce to Long Poibt beach was well worth it for me. The staff was friendly and accommodating on a pick up time. The boat lives the dock 10 after on the hour until 4 i believe and goes between the mainland and out to long point. It is about a 10 minute ride and well worth the time and money. read more

"Use the effing skiff!" That was what Malcom (whom I was told was a manager) yelled at me over the phone at midnight when I called him like he told me to. ("If I dont pick up the first time call back bc I sometimes don't hear my phone.") BEWARE!! They claim to have a later launch service on the weekends but its a lie...if you stay with them you have to be home by 8pm if you don't own your own dinghy. Even though their website specifically says that "Again, unlimited Launch during business hours 8am to 8pm is included in the mooring fee, with late night weekend launch service when required. Aarrangements may be made with the dockmaster at other times. After hour fee is $2.00 a head each way." THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU IF THEY DONT WANT TO. We were told all week they had late launches only on Friday and Saturday...so we made dinner reservations for later and called to double check that the launch would run late. Nope...only running until 8pm. Really? All week you've been saying Friday! And now you aren't running it?!? So we call the manager again and he tells us that there's a wedding but he will get us home and prefaces it with that it'll be late-like midnight- bc they'll all be at the owners wedding. Ok we say, we can do that....so we wait and call at midnight. And that's when he swore at me and made us use their skiff to get back on our boat....on a VERY foggy VERY windy night WITHOUT ANY LIGHTS. So inappropriate and rude and dangerous. Not only will we never stay with them again we have called the coast guard and will be talking to the harbor master about the safety issues. Also, I plan on writing to all of our fellow liveaboards in Boston telling telling them about our experience and asking them to spread the word. We plan on going to Provincetown Marina across the way from now on. $50 for a mooring and daily launch service until 11pm and weekends until 12am. And I sure as heck can bet they don't swear at their customers. Beware!! read more

I've stayed here on their moorings twice before when Provincetown Marina filled up, and it was ok. It's farther out from the wharf, but it's often a quieter mooring field. Only one shower works and the bathrooms were dirty and steamy hot every time I went in them. They offer boat rentals and that's a great service.The launch is a very nice covered boat and MOST of the staff are very nice; however, one young guy was extremely sarcastic and had a nasty remark to say about his "competitor" Provincetown Marine to me last week. (Sorry, but that's totally unprofessional for the hospitality business in a very small town). If Provincetown Marina is filled up, this is a good alternative. Good - the mooring held Bad - the launch service SUCKS. They stop running at 8 pm. They told us that if we wanted a ride out at 8 we needed to be at the McMillen dock. We were there at 7:55. The launch drove right by us and would not answer when called on the VHF. They stranded us. DO NOT RENT A MOORING FROM FLYERS UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN DINGHY. read more
