We were there this afternoon for lunch. To our delight, Flying Beaver continues to have the Dine Out Vancouver event extended to Valentine Day. We ordered the DOV menu & had a 3 course lunch for $29 plus tax. You cannot beat the prices. The food was good, we found the dessert a tad sweet, it was rich! If you have a sweet tooth... that's the dessert for you. There was 3 of us & we each ordered a different appetizer. Spring rolls was fresh & crunch with pieces of duck meat in them. Their signature clam chowder has been my hubby's favourite. The salad was good with crunchy roasted walnuts & feta cheese. Overall an excellent lunch. Plus a great view with ample free parking across the road.

Really cute place to go for lunch before the airport ! I loved watching the water planes take off and love the outdoor dining with a view. Huge portions and kind staff, mostly meat and seafood options, but there are a couple of options for vegetarian / vegan.

We love coming hear anytime we are close to the airport. Fun watching the seaplanes go in and out and take off or land. Service is super friendly and even the bar staff greeted us upon arrival. Quality of the food is very good. Lots to choose from and it's always steady every time we visit. They also have a stamp card.

There is always a wait time here so come prepared to wait patiently. We went on Father's Day June 2025 and it was packed. Initially they told us 45 mins wait but we ended up getting a table in 20 mins as the staff managed the crowd really well. We snagged a table in the sunroom and our view was beautiful. We saw the sea planes take off and land it was a nice touch. Food was great. We had nachos, lemon pepper wings and fish tacos (no picture as we gobbled them in a second). Lemon pepper wings were fantastic and so were the fish tacos - so light and fresh with the mango salsa. Nachos were very sparsely filled so it was just chips so that's a thumbs down. For mains we had salmon burger, seafood linguine, sunshine chicken bowl and everything was lip smacking! Loveeeed it all. desserts were apple pie with icecream and sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Both were top notch!! The service was attentive despite of being so so busy. We got our food quickly but desserts took time but they were worth the wait. The only thing we didn't like were the super small tables. No place to keep the food and plates and glasses together. We couldn't eat well and had to constantly make room and it was super irritating. Will I recommend you to try this place? Hell yeah! Ask for a big table that's it!

It is a hidden gem!!! A little far from us, but easy to go using public transportation: Skytrain and buses . The service offered by Breanna C was excellent, fast, friendly, courteous and the best, very professional!! The culinary is very delicious and well presented in generous portions!. Prices a very affordable and the menu has a great variety of options . We started with cider and Caesar and appetizer a delicious mushrooms soup . Later we asked an exquisite penne with chorizo and prawns and a Hawaiian pizza . All was very delicious!!! It was the first time but for sure not the last.

Went to this pub/restaurant for breakfast. I have been there before and it has always been good. For breakfast it was just as good. This is on the river front at the south part of the airport. Harbour air flies out of there. I had the beaver chorizo hash and it was very filling and worth the money. One was the smoked salmon benny and just as good. Next up was the beaver omelette. Lots of food. The waffles were lots and presented nicely.Service was great. This is a great place.

The food was good and the service was fast. Overall the ambiance was better inside than out because you really do need sunglasses for the patio. I caught myself squinting and my eyes started hurting after a few minutes. I would say their food is all incredible! I got a cheeseburger and poutine and it was amazing. I loved seeing the planes take off and I think it's a GREAT use of space.

We love Flying Beaver Bar! Location is off the beaten path unless you arrive in your seaplane then it's perfectly on your path. Food is amazing. Services is great. Vibe is vibrant and fun. Cannot wait to go back. We ordered the poutine and Cobb salads. Both were excellent...we also ordered the sticky pudding for dessert which was insanely good.

This is a very out-of-the-way restaurant that doubles as a check-in for Harbour Air seaplanes. It's right next to the airport. However, it is a spectacular restaurant in its own right and worth the trip to visit it! They have boatloads of seafood choices of which I chose the Grilled Wild Salmon. It came with seaweed salad, jasmine rice and Szechuan green beans. It was fabulous! I also recommend the Wok Style Calamari which is topped with puréed jalapeños. Also superb! They have an outside deck right on the water and the ambience is completely casual. It's worth the drive, believe me. I wish we had something like this in Chicago! I'd be a regular!

This was a great find for us! We are from the US and we're looking for a fun place to have dinner after we returned from a cruise before our flight home. It was a little loud but the views were great. We loved watching the planes land and take off while we ate. The short rib on the poutine was delicious and we couldn't ask for a better burger.

This year, we dragged along one of our older sons to "babysit" while Mom and Dad popped downstairs to check out the local dive bar. Rustic wooden interior. Loud music. Hard alcohol. A slighty-aloof but generally competent bartender. Obnoxious drunk people (in one case, a bachelorette party trying their damnedest to get "white girl wasted"). Basically everything you expect in a dive bar. Feels like home. Regretfully, I didn't get to try the "best fish and chips in Steveston", or any of the mouth-watering burgers I saw flying out of the kitchen, because reasons, but based on smell alone, the food here appears to be excellent. And having this place attached to our favorite inn right above, despite the thumping music beating away into the wee hours of the night on weekends, is just icing on an already enjoyable cake. Lend an ear, because the Buck stops here!

Unlike previous visits, we were spotted and seated quickly on their patio -- very pleasant and more COVID-safe for this immune-compromised reviewer. We ordered: - Memphis hot chicken bites -- pretty, saucy, good pickles, took the edge off - Buck burger (with chowder substituted for the fries) - Fish and chips (decent) - House salad - big enough for two The food was well-executed and there was plenty. I thought we had over-ordered; my wife thought it was perfect. Sadly, they were out of the beta charge juice, to which we were looking forward. Our server R provided friendly, excellent service. Unusually good recommendations. She took good care of us. We parked for free on the street. There is a pay lot as well. Bottom line: We'll be back.

Outdoor seating on a nice day so nice, indoor seating is a bit loud and kind of crowded, the patio seating is nice mix of both worlds. We sat on the covered patio and had a good time (a bit spider webby though). We ordered the wings, a cornbread (it's a muffin), the milltown burger and the moroccan lamb burger. The wings, in the hot flavor. Typical hot wings with buffalo sauce. Not spicy, very vinegary and pungent. Nice size, very crispy. Fair price for the amount you get. Really good overall. Cornbread (muffin). Really good. Kind of an odd thing to have as an appetizer, but so good actually with the sweetened butter, both were so good. Milltown burger. Not sure if we ordered it correctly but it's just a very plain burger no condiments or cheese (not sure if these were options, we didn't ask and weren't asked). Cooked very nicely. Otherwise a pretty run of the mill burger. Fries and tartar sauce were really good. The Moroccan lamb burger, nicely cooked, heavy on the sumac a little greasy. Not tons of lamb flavor. Not bad at all. The halloumi didn't have much of a taste maybe it was me? Who knows but it paired nicely with the beet and arugula salad. The salad was very very good. Price wise, very fair I feel, 67 usd 93 CAD for 2 apps and 2 entrees? Staff were very accommodating as well even with a very full restaurant. Nice people nice experience. Would recommend if you have the patience to travel to the location.
